I am very happy and proud to be a student of Padmashree.
Placements: Around 40% of students got placed in our batch. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Biocon, Molecular Connections, Biocom Biologists, and others visit the college. A few of my friends got placed at Biocon permanently. Roles offered are data analysis, QC, and others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good with well-equipped laboratory instruments. Our classrooms are spacious and well-furnished. The library has various compartments to help with higher studies. The hostel is clean with good food. Cleanliness is maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with doctorate degrees. They have passed various national exams like CSIR, UGC, NET, and others. They take students on industrial visits which helps to provide industrial knowledge. Semester exams are easier than we think. The passing percentage is 75%, which is average.

Overall, satisfied with the college faculty and management.
Placements: At this college, around 30–35% of the students get placements in our batch. The average package offered in my batch was 4 LPA. Some local and national food science and technology students visit colleges for placements. Most of the students get internships but there was no stipend given to them. Overall, a decent college regarding placements.
Infrastructure: The college has a decent infrastructure for the food science course. The facilities were of good quality. Students had access to all the facilities available at the college. The college has Wi-Fi, labs, a library, a canteen, etc. facilities for the students. College canteen food was affordable and good to eat. Multiple sports facilities were available for the students.
Faculty: The faculty of the college was highly qualified and experienced in our course. Teachers have good knowledge in food science, and they properly guide students. The course curriculum of the college is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exams at our college were on a semester basis and easy to pass.

Our college is not the best, but I am satisfied because of friendly faculty and relevant course.
Placements: Most of the students from our batch want to pursue a master's degree. No one got placed. The average salary package offered in our course for freshers is around 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Most of the recruiters for this course are Brittania, Anti Sweet, Akshaya Patra, etc. In our batch, there were 20 students, and all got internships in companies like KMF, Brittania, Milma, Eastern Foods, etc. Top roles offered are quality analyst, quality control officer, production supervisor, etc.
Infrastructure: Our department has a wide range of books and updated versions of equipment, which are exclusively used by food science and food processing students. All the classrooms have projectors and marker boards. Hostel rooms are spacious and cleaned regularly, but students must maintain cleanliness. The food served is healthy and delicious.
Faculty: All lecturers are student-friendly. They teach well. They are knowledgeable. Students are well prepared for exams. It is not hard to pass the exam or get good marks. The pass marks are 25 out of 70. Students are often taken on industrial visits to understand the core subjects better.
Other: Principal always supports students to study by gaining scholarships. Our college notifies, suggests, and guides students for scholarships. The best part of the college is it is located amidst the green, away from traffic. It has peaceful study environment. Our college does not charge students for traveling by college bus. Along with academics, students are encouraged to participate in sports and cultural activities. Our college conducts regular activities on special days like World Food Day, World Health Day, Onam, Dusherra, Holi, Teachers' Day, etc.

Our college is very good.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students got placed in top hospitals like Manipal Clinic, Aster RV Hospital, etc. Our college provides good placement opportunities. The placement criteria are based on students' performance. Students got internships in hospitals. Top recruiting hospitals are Manipal Clinic, JSS, Aster RV Hospital, etc. Top roles offered are in clinical nutrition and dietetics, nursing, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It has very calm surroundings. Our college is surrounded by greenery. It provides Wi-Fi on every floor. The library has a very good collection of books. It has syllabus-related books and novels. The hostel is good. Its rooms are neat.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and qualified. They make their students ready for all the activities. They provide great support and make us confident. Semester exams are difficult. They depend on students' knowledge. We have class tests and internal exams.
Other: I chose this course because of its very good scope for the future. Our college conducts sports. It should provide more transportation facilities. It is very difficult to get cabs near our college. Events and scholarships are good.

PIMS Review: Infrastructure of the college is good; placement is not provided for our course.
Placements: Placement after UG is basically not offered for our course, and most students secure PG after UG rather than getting into jobs. Students got internships from our course in Dextrose, Green Dairy Farm, etc. Courses like general B.Sc. do have placement options, but they tend to get higher degrees.
Infrastructure: Access to top-notch infrastructure and facilities, such as libraries, laboratories, and sports facilities, caters to all student needs. The combination of academic independence, a diverse teaching faculty, and a multicultural atmosphere fosters an environment that promotes the comprehensive growth of students.
Faculty: The institution is privileged to have a great combination of a dynamic management team with a vision of academic excellence and a team of dedicated teachers and resource personnel committed to realizing the vision and goals. The college believes in value-based education practices and emphasizes self-sustenance and overall personality development.
Other: As I was interested in the Biology course, I got into the Biotechnology course, which has a wide scope in today's generation. This course was under the NEP scheme. The syllabus was diversified throughout the academic and semester periods.

You can apply for admission to PIMS College by just qualifying in class 12th as the eligibility criteria for all the courses is only 12th pass.

Q:   What are the minimum marks required to get a seat at Padmashree Institute of Management and Sciences?

A:

The eligibility criteria for applying to Padmashree Institute of Management and Sciences is only 60% in class 12th if you want to pursue a BSc, but if you are applying in the non-technical courses you need to just pass class 12th.

But as the availability of seats is quite low in Padmashree Institute of Management and Sciences the intake of candidates is done on a merit basis so if you really want to join the college then you need to secure at least 70%.

If your percentage is above 70% in class 12th then for sure you will be allotted any seat.
