Whether you have decent scores in your school boards or not, don't consider this college.
Placements: There were no placements provided for either our batch or the previous batch, except some call centre jobs were offered with salaries of Rs. 8,000-12,000 per month. There were no particular on-campus placements held for this particular year, and a couple of times, students were sent for off-campus drives which only helped one student getting a job at Tata Consultancy Services (a BPO) with a salary of Rs. 17,000 per month. The placement cell is just for namesake for our particular course, with minimum or next to zero help or involvement in getting students internships, forget about the stipend. It was of absolutely minimum significance where the students were asked to apply for internships through Internshala by themselves. There is no use of the placement cell in college.
Infrastructure: The campus is comfortable with not many recreational facilities except table tennis and carrom, and that too just one table of each for a whole lot of crowd. They are also resilient about providing adequate bats and coins, and the same also goes for the balls for table tennis. A half-hearted fest is organised every year with a moderate freshers' party. ACs don't work half the year, and the Wi-Fi is again just for namesake. The teachers are good with some of them being really very good, but they have left the college this year to explore better opportunities, so you are left with mostly new faculty members. From my friends point of views, the hostel is bad as well with food being the major issue. Also, the canteen available in the college is not good.
Faculty: Teachers in the college were qualified with some being really resourceful and knowledgeable and the rest not being that good. The quality of teaching for marketing, finance, HR, mathematics and statistics subjects was really good, but again, most of the respective faculty members have left the college by now. There was no industry exposure provided. The curriculum was fine, with achieving good grades being easy and useful while applying for MBA.
Other: Only the fresher's party is moderate in quality, and the annual fest which is doubtful to be conducted every year is really bad. Scholarships are available only if you can convince them, or you get good grades or have some financial strain. Extracurricular activities are next to zero, and the same goes for the college connectivity. The surroundings are spacious with lots of cows and cow dung and especially unsafe roads. There have been instances of accidents and unfortunate death of a college student on the road connecting to the D.H. Road to the college due to really poor road conditions and trucks and overloaded vehicles moving freely along the way during school and college timings. The surroundings are really unsafe, and the college and the concerned local municipal authorities are least interested in securing the place. Also, the place is particularly unsafe for girls due to the local habitat which includes drunk locals and mobs being at or near the campus most of the times.

Faculty members are good, but the placements are bad.
Placements: We were told that the campusing was very good in the previous year. But at our time, it was not much good. Companies that visited our college offered the salaries of only Rs. 8,000 per month to Rs. 10,000 per month, and it is present outside of Kolkata. Only BPO companies offer placements. It is quite tough to survive outside Kolkata with that salary packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is a big problem. The B.Tech and management blocks are located in one place, and the diploma building is away from the main college. The main problem is the hostel, it is far away from the college, and it takes 15-20 minutes to reach there. Earlier, the hostel food was good, but it is getting worse now.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good during my tenure. But, some good teachers moved to another college, so I can't tell about the current faculty members. During my tenure, the teachers were very good and caring. Their teaching technique was very good.
Other: A fest and fresher's party are organised every year, but it is skipped sometimes. Transportation from the college is quite good.

Proud to be a student of this college.
Placements: Placement Focused college, Holding a record of 100% placement success up to date. Many top-ranked IT companies are clients. The best thing about the placement of this college is that the college authority arranges a lot of counselling to the students so that they can be successful.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure includes Wi-Fi Enabled, course wise separate buildings, hostels, Sports ground, and the common room. Inside the common room, it is included with Indore games available like Pool, Table Tennis, Carrom etc. This college is good to reach as it is located near Joka Metro and an area named Bengal Pailan Park.
Faculty: The college is included with many courses to study here. Various Diploma courses and also Bachelor courses like B.Tech, BBA BHM BCA BTTM, Optometry, and having an option to get master's degree in that courses. The teachers are so kind and generous to the students.

Pailan college of management and technology is a very mediocre college and placements are huge.
Placements: Very few placements took place, and the placements were very unsatisfying. The companies and the job opportunities that were available were not appropriate for a BBA student. We were not properly informed and the salary provided was very low. We were very disappointed.
Infrastructure: The classrooms were good ( air-conditioned). The library was average, and the canteen was okay. The Wi-Fi was promised on the campus, but we were never able to use it. Though having the computer as a subject, we were never taken to the lab. The common room or games room was not provided for the management wing.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members were highly learned and resourceful, but some of them were very much incapable of teaching their respective subjects and taught in a very monotonous manner. The course and method of teaching are outdated. Some of the teachers were incapable of speaking proper English.
Other: We were not even given freshers and there is very less scope for the extracurricular activities.

Other: The college is worth the money because its facilities and campus life makes it worth all the expense towards it. The crowd is very good were you can meet a lot of people from varies places and its a good experience. The salary can be better but most of the students here get placed with more than 90% record. The faculty are very good and knowledgeable

Other: The college does not have anything except good faculties. Local MLA and counsellors misuse their power upon the relation of administration and the students. There is no discipline in the college. Facilities provided by the college is beyond average. Placement is not at all worthy. The college has a good brand image but the service they deliver is beyond expectation.
