Placements: The placement rate of the college was below average because they were concerned only about software students. No placements were provided for civil, mechanical, and automobile students. Even if they bring some company, it would be a consultant company which is of no use. Our college needs to work on its placement criteria.
Placements: Maybe 10% of the students from our department got placed in those jobs which no one was able to join. Coming from a mechanical sub-branch, we were placed in some aptitude and communication skill improvement companies. In short, we were asked to join as aptitude trainers. This job was completely non-technical.
Placements: We hardly get any placements. Our college does not focus more on placements. Our college has an old school type of education system. For placements, students should be trained. Our college should take many efforts to improve placements. Our college should encourage students for workshops and internships during the course, which help students to learn the course well.
Placements: I am in the second year, and I have attended some of the webinars and the seminars. So, I got some knowledge to make my future better. In our college, we need to maintain above 6 to 7 CGPA to attend placements, and we get good placements here.
Placements: Civil Engineering has the lowest number of placements compare to other courses. Packages ranges from 1.2 LPA to 3.6 LPA. Medini, Infosys, Wipro and some local companies are the common companies which recruit. Almost all students recruited are given the role of trainee or junior engineer.
Placements: Placements in the IT sector are good, and companies like Infosys, Amazon India are regular recruiters. The highest package offered in 2016 was 11 LPA by Amazon India. There is a placement cell in the college. But for branches like civil and mechanical departments, placements are as low as a zero.
Placements: It has good placement record. The college approaches the companies for campus selection. The placement and training cell is updated with the industry requirements. The placements records are good. Students from this college are placed in very good companies. They usually visit us and share their experiences.
Placements: My batch was the last batch in which only a few companies came for campus placements, out of which Infosys and MindTree were the mass recruiters. The companies like Global Edge, Ultratech, Chettinad Cement, and Jaypee Cement hired 2-4 resources. We had a good placement training from Ethnus.
Placements: The placements of the college were less when it is compared with PDA college, Gulbarga, but compared to Gulbarga colleges, the PDA secures some good placements. The placements are increasing every year from our senior batch to present batches as about 20-30% of the students are placed through placements. The highest salary offered was from Wipro company to some students is 13-15 LPA, and the companies like HCL, Wipro, Acer, L&T, SONY have been regularly visiting our college every year. There wer...
Placements: In Karnataka, there are 7 autonomous colleges. In that, ours is one of the colleges. They also arranged placements fairly well. They have chosen the eligible students. The chosen out students should be getting a job appontiment letter. The salary should be decided by the companies only, and the salary started from Rs. 15,000, and other college students also joined 4th to our farewell placements.
Placements: For a civil engineering student, there were no placements from our college, but our seniors were placed in the cement factories such as Ultra tech and ACC. The highest salary was 15k, and the lowest was 10k. The maximum of CS and EC students get placed in our college as many software companies come for placements. There is a placement cell in our college, but from my side, the placements for civil and mechanical students are not good.
Placements: No core placements are present. But, some IT companies will be recruiting. There is no proper placement team in the college. There will be some consultant placement service hiring you. The placements are only for CS, EC and IT course. For mechanical, there will be no core placement.
Placements: There are no placements for us and for civil, IP, IS, IT, automobile. Not even 1 company came for mechanical guys and above-mentioned branches. You will have 0.00% of chances to get a placement if you choose those branches. And for other branches, only 4-5 companies will come that too not regularly.
Placements: Placements here have been almost from across the city's big companies like the Wipro, L&T, Sony, etc. Also, they are invited even before the students can acquire more opportunities from the placements, if they are having much confidence, which is the key to success. Our college provides a placement cell where the process of placements takes place, compared to our's and senior's batch, the placements are increasing in number from our seniors. Even many students from our college are in a well-set...
Placements: Most of the placements in our college are from ECE, CS and IS departments. Nearly 60 to 70 students are placed every year. The average package is 3 LPA. The job roles offered are of a software engineer. Compared to CS department, ECE students placed are more in number. No company comes for offering internship in our college.
Placements: The placements are not so good. Only 20 got selected out of 120 students. Only 3 companies visited our campus. The highest salary offered is 3 lakhs per year and the minimum is 2.5 lakhs per year. The companies that visited are CGI Technologies, Mind Tree, Global Edge. There is no internship given to students in the college.
Placements: As far as I know, there is very less placement for civil students in our college, though 3-4 seniors have been selected by a local construction group Shrushti Construction with a salary of 1.6 lakh per annum, which is low according to me. Out of 150 students, only 4 have been selected by a company. So I don't think our college is good at placements for civil. But there are many opportunities for other branches like IS, CCT, CS, if you are looking for a placement for civil, then I would sugge...
