Vision of PIET: A Student's Perspective.
Placements: The placement of the college is not too good as I heard when I took admission in the college. The placement is about only 5 to 10 percent. The placement head is not good in PIET college. The behavior of the placement head is not good with the students; they only treat the students as if he or she doesn't do their work, then they don't get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good and very beautiful. There are 7 buildings in the college campus, and there are different buildings for all the course students that are offered by the college. The college always gets full marks in terms of cleanliness and other activities related to cleanliness.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is very knowledgeable and experienced. The faculty of the college provides support to the students. They always help the students in any situation. The curriculum in the course is, I think, not relevant to the students. The difficulty of the semester exams in the college is very high, and various students get supplementary in the exams.

All about Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is about 70%. There are both on-campus and off-campus placements. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, IBM, Infosys, NASA, ISRO, and Microsoft. The top role offered is an assistant manager.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Wi-Fi often crashes. Classrooms are not properly maintained. The library is very old and small. It does not have centralised air conditioners. The quality of the food in the canteen is not very good. So I don't consumer it much. There are no special medical facilities available. Our college does not offer many sports and games. There is no swimming pool. A tennis court is not available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are good, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The student-teacher ratio is 1:65. It is high. The course curriculum is not relevant. It keeps on changing the syllabus pattern and cannot decide the syllabus in one go. It makes students industry-ready. Exams are difficult. The pass percentage is less than 25%.
Other: I always had a passion for becoming a software engineer and I want to many a company one day, so I chose this course. Everything is the best about this course. Nothing is required to be improved in this field. There are no special events and fests in our college. Scholarships are available for SC or ST students.

Piet: a student perspective.
Placements: I am Aryan Kumar, studying in Piet till 2021, and I am in the 4th year of B.Tech. in Piet. The placement record of the college is good if we talk about the overall placement record, but if we talk about the B.Tech course, then the placement record is not that good in this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice there are 7 building in college that have different course. The campus of the college is clean and green; there are 3 to 4 parks in the college. There are many canteens in the college campuses. Overall, the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Faculty is good in the college, but the management of the college is very rude; they didn't help you in any way; if you were right or wrong, they didn't help you. If you did any right thing but unfortunately it became wrong, then they didn't listen to you. They only fined you, and if you don't fill out the form, then they don't allow you to give the examination.
Other: Please don't take admission in Piet because they are like the teeth of an elephant. They have different faces at the time of admission, and they act different after taking admission in the college.

B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2025

All students are dissatisfied from the college.
Placements: In our college, only 20% of students get placed, and that too in small companies at very low salaries, because our college does not focus on skill development. It only focuses on theoretical knowledge and semester exams. The highest package is around 6 LPA, the lowest is around 2.5 LPA, and the average is around 3.8 LPA. Only local companies from nearby regions recruit. HODs don't allow any internships during the course, and we have to maintain 75% attendance, even in the final year.
Infrastructure: Visually, the college looks good, but the computers in the labs don't even work, and the Wi-Fi connection is so poor that we can't even search for the meaning of a single word on Google. After entering the college, our mobile internet doesn't work either, as there is no network. The hostel also looks good visually, but the mess food is so unhygienic that we sometimes can't even eat it. We sometimes find cockroaches and small insects in the food. There are big grounds in the name of sports, but we don't get permission to play there.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are not helpful. Many teachers are very rude. Some don't even know how to talk to students. They don't make students industry-ready. Most teachers lack technical knowledge and focus more on theoretical concepts. The university is not student-friendly at all. It is only good at making students stuck in a never-ending loop of backlogs. The syllabus is outdated and has not been revised.
Other: I chose this course because it is the only engineering college near my town, and being a girl, my parents preferred a nearby college for me. There is nothing good about this course at this college. This college needs improvement; nothing is good about it. It is only good at organizing events and fests. Extracurricular activities do not exist.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of campus, faculty, and infrastructure.
Placements: The highest package is 3 lakhs per annum. No internship. No top companies visited. 20 percent of students were placed. The lowest package was 2.5 lakhs per annum. The top companies Cipla, Renbackcy, and Abbott did not visit. The role of volunteer is given. The college is not good.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are not good. Benches are broken. There is no AC in labs. Bad hostel rooms with low-quality food. Wi-Fi is not working, and the internet doesn't work properly in the building. Medical facilities are available. An ambulance is there in college, and medicines are available.
Faculty: Pronunciation of faculty is not appropriate; they are unable to speak fluent English. Exam difficulty is medium. Teachers are a little helpful. The qualification of teachers is MPHARM or PhD. 60-70% of students passed. Yes, it is a little industry-oriented.
Other: You can choose to be a pharmacist. There is one good event every year where a singer visits.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college
Placements: The graph of placement is continously falling over the years. The highest package in BCA was of 5 lakhs.BCA ,being a technical course, the students are made to sit in non-technical placement interviews which are mainly for the students of management studies.
Infrastructure: Both the infrastructure and hostel are well structured. The quality of food they provide in the mess is quite good.However,non-veg students may find it challenging to have veg food all the time.As non-veg is not served in the college mess nor in the canteens rather it's strictly restricted inside the college as well. However ,the college wi-fi never worked for me in the campus but it does work well in the library.
Faculty: The course doesn't make the students industry ready.A large portion among the faculty lacks actual technical skills and focus more on theoretical concepts.Kurukshetra University, the university to which the college is affiliated to ,is not at all a student friendly university and is known for making students stuck in a never ending loop of backlogs. No matter how well did you write in your exams you can still get failed if the uni doesn't want you to pass. The syllabus remain not revised. They cha
Other: They will charge you money for attending star nights/concerts that are held during annual fests and freshers.21
