Pondicherry Engineering College review.

Placements: During my time, many companies like Asahi glass, Wipro, TCS, L&T Infotech, MRF, L&T construction, Mu Sigma, and more walked into our campus and hired us. The placement and training sessions will be carried out by the college which helped many students to go through aptitude and English sessions in interviews.

Best government college in the whole south India present in the shores of Bay of Bengal.

Placements: It is the best college where most of the students get placed. They groom your talent for the company, and the company takes you to the next level. The training and placement cell of PEC will train the students in their third year in aptitude and soft skills from experienced professionals. Technical knowledge need not be increased, as the PECians will have it always at best.

One can enjoy the life by learning the things.

Placements: The placement was good for my department. In 2017 batch, 42 students out of 52 got placed. In 2018 batch, 35 students got placed, and some of them attending the campus over of 49 students. I am in the 3rd-year, in my class, the strength was 57. I think, next year, we will get placed more than the last year batch.

The best place to study engineering in Pondicherry, and all the facilities are available here.

Placements: The placement was average. If we do well, subsequently, it will increase. A lot of training classes are being held. In summer, we had communication classes organised which were followed by the interview. A few months later, aptitude classes are held, and we are getting trained, hope we will succeed.

PEC is nothing but the combination of placement and enjoyment.

Placements: The only college assured for placements is Pondicherry Engineering College. If you are good in your academics, then you are placed. The companies recruiting are not only software companies but also core companies of every department. Some of the best-recruiting companies are Amazon, ZOHO, Cadence Design Systems, SAP Labs, etc.

The freedom provided by the college can make a student either good or bad.

Placements: There is a gradual increase in placements within the college. We have a training and placement centre where we were nurtured to face any condition. Irrespective of the department there exists a wide exposure with companies. Some of the companies that visited the college recently were Amazon, HCL, Infosys, Zoho, Cognizant, Tech Mahendra, Bosch, sap, Wipro, Flipkart, Broadcom, TCS, MRF and TVS.

A good college for people who aren't bookworms. A lot of freedom with a good infrastructure.

Placements: All the students, irrespective of the department, will be placed in TCS. Core companies are coming for all the departments but for CSE, IT, ECE, they are more in number. The average salary is Rs. 3,50,000 to Rs. 4,00,000(p.a.). The highest salary offered is Rs. 10,00,000(p.a). 85 to 90 percent students are placed. The core companies for mechanical and civil are less when compared to the software department.

It is the best government institution for pursuing engineering, and there are many recruitments.

Placements: The placement officer guides us to move to the correct path. The best part is they conduct various communication classes for our betterment. The companies visiting PEC are very good. For seniors, the number of students placed is less compared to previous years.

I think 85% students were placed in companies like MBIT Wireless, SAP, Broadcom, etc. The highest salary was around 9 lakh per annum. Overall, the placements in our college (all departments) is above average. More than 60% get placed and I hope this percentage will increase this year.

Placements: I had a good experience with the training and the placement cell. They guided us in the right way and provided good instructions. Many of my senior students who attended the interviews got placed. I am pretty sure that I will get placed in a good company because of their guidance.

Not the best! Classroom infrastructure has to improved a lot.

Placements: The placement officer is doing great but the support from the college is nil. This year, the initiative was really good. More companies can be brought in. Placement in PEC is non-linear i.e. it decreases and increases. Students are also a cause for this. They don't really have the mood to go in the search of placements.

About Pondicherry Engineering College from a student's point of view.

Placements: Placements were good for the last batch students. They are doing a good job to get us a job. A training and placement centre is available here and they are working really very hard to make the students shine in their life. But they are following so many strict rules to make the students crisp and sharp.

Placements: Senior batches got more job offers than the current batch and the job opportunities are reducing batch by batch. The average salary is about 20000 INR. 80 percent got placed in TCS and other software companies. There were no core companies this time. Nothing more than that actually.

Placements: In the year of 2015, 48 out of 72 students were placed from the EEE department. The highest salary as I heard was 10 lakh per year. The average salary is 3.5 lakh per year. The recruitment of students to core companies is few in number. TCS is the firm where most of the students get placed.
