Placements: Nice placement and many MNC companies are coming to hire graduates and post graduates. Many top MNC companies are coming to hire. Many cultural programs are conducted in a year. Companies like tcs, cts, Infosys, l and t, Wipro, and other companies are coming for placement.
Placements: During my time, many companies like Asahi glass, Wipro, TCS, L&T Infotech, MRF, L&T construction, Mu Sigma, and more walked into our campus and hired us. The placement and training sessions will be carried out by the college which helped many students to go through aptitude and English sessions in interviews.
Placements: It is the best college where most of the students get placed. They groom your talent for the company, and the company takes you to the next level. The training and placement cell of PEC will train the students in their third year in aptitude and soft skills from experienced professionals. Technical knowledge need not be increased, as the PECians will have it always at best.
Placements: The placement was good for my department. In 2017 batch, 42 students out of 52 got placed. In 2018 batch, 35 students got placed, and some of them attending the campus over of 49 students. I am in the 3rd-year, in my class, the strength was 57. I think, next year, we will get placed more than the last year batch.
Placements: The placement was average. If we do well, subsequently, it will increase. A lot of training classes are being held. In summer, we had communication classes organised which were followed by the interview. A few months later, aptitude classes are held, and we are getting trained, hope we will succeed.
Placements: The only college assured for placements is Pondicherry Engineering College. If you are good in your academics, then you are placed. The companies recruiting are not only software companies but also core companies of every department. Some of the best-recruiting companies are Amazon, ZOHO, Cadence Design Systems, SAP Labs, etc.
Placements: There is a gradual increase in placements within the college. We have a training and placement centre where we were nurtured to face any condition. Irrespective of the department there exists a wide exposure with companies. Some of the companies that visited the college recently were Amazon, HCL, Infosys, Zoho, Cognizant, Tech Mahendra, Bosch, sap, Wipro, Flipkart, Broadcom, TCS, MRF and TVS.
Placements: More than 50 companies visited our campus during the placement drive last year. Around 70% of students registered for training and placement program got offer letters. The maximum salary was around 10 lakhs per annum and the minimum was 3 lakhs per annum.
Placements: More than 70% of the students registered for training and placement program and got job offers from many good companies. The highest pay was 10 lakhs per annum and lowest was 3 lakhs per annum. The staff members there help and support us in achieving our goals.
Placements: You can't dream of campus placements like IITs or very good NITs, still I consider the placements in my college to be well above other colleges in the state. In our senior batch, around 80% got placed. The highest salary offered was 6.4 lakh. The lowest was 3.2 lakh (per annum).
Placements: Placements are fine. In 2015, around 60% students get placed. Placement centre offers training programs. In 2014 around 50% and in 2012 around 81% get placed. The recruiters are Shashu, Bosch, HCl, Infosys, HNG, Murugappa, L&T, MRF, Sapient, SAP, TCS, TVS, Sutherland, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and Broadcom. The highest placement statistics were in the year 2011 and it is around 91%.
Placements: All the students, irrespective of the department, will be placed in TCS. Core companies are coming for all the departments but for CSE, IT, ECE, they are more in number. The average salary is Rs. 3,50,000 to Rs. 4,00,000(p.a.). The highest salary offered is Rs. 10,00,000(p.a). 85 to 90 percent students are placed. The core companies for mechanical and civil are less when compared to the software department.
Placements: The placement officer guides us to move to the correct path. The best part is they conduct various communication classes for our betterment. The companies visiting PEC are very good. For seniors, the number of students placed is less compared to previous years.
Placements: In my department, last year, our seniors got placed in many core companies. I think 85% students were placed in companies like MBIT Wireless, SAP, Broadcom, etc. The highest salary was around 9 lakh per annum. Overall, the placements in our college (all departments) is above average. More than 60% get placed and I hope this percentage will increase this year.
Placements: I had a good experience with the training and the placement cell. They guided us in the right way and provided good instructions. Many of my senior students who attended the interviews got placed. I am pretty sure that I will get placed in a good company because of their guidance.
Placements: The placement officer is doing great but the support from the college is nil. This year, the initiative was really good. More companies can be brought in. Placement in PEC is non-linear i.e. it decreases and increases. Students are also a cause for this. They don't really have the mood to go in the search of placements.
Placements: Placements were good for the last batch students. They are doing a good job to get us a job. A training and placement centre is available here and they are working really very hard to make the students shine in their life. But they are following so many strict rules to make the students crisp and sharp.
Placements: The placement is good. Last year around 65% got placed. The highest package is 9 LPA and the lowest is 2.75 LPA. The average is around 4 LPA. TCS is the mass recruiting company. Apart from TCS, L&T, Mbit wireless, SAP, sapient, Bosch etc. will offer placements.
Placements: Senior batches got more job offers than the current batch and the job opportunities are reducing batch by batch. The average salary is about 20000 INR. 80 percent got placed in TCS and other software companies. There were no core companies this time. Nothing more than that actually.
Placements: In the year of 2015, 48 out of 72 students were placed from the EEE department. The highest salary as I heard was 10 lakh per year. The average salary is 3.5 lakh per year. The recruitment of students to core companies is few in number. TCS is the firm where most of the students get placed.
