Pondicherry Engineering College - PEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Almost 60% of the students who applied for placements got placed. Various types and a wide range of companies visit here and recruit students, and even students got placed in Amazon. There is a special block for placements named training and placement centre and also specific officers. I did a volunteer in that.

Placements: No placements for my department. No company or organisation coming for placements and offering some job for my department's student. We are having more knowledge but don't have any value for that. Some of our seniors got jobs through off campus with a salary package of 15,000 rupees per month.

Placements: Training and placement center is good and work hard for the placement of students. Many good companies were interested to hire students from our college. The college ranks 38th in all over India and has a good and professional professors.

Placements: Placements of our batch were about 25%, and most of the companies visited were of IT sectors. The highest salary package offered was about 12 LPA by Cadence. Only 3% of college student got an internship. There was a placement cell, and it was improving very quickly since we got autonomous from 2017, and it is entirely autonomous college now.

Placements: Placements for CSE, IT and ECE departments are good, and it is not that good for other departments. Placements were good during the previous years because of the less competition, but now there is heavy competition in job offers. The placement cell in our college is not that good.
