Absolutely dissatisfied with placements; other than that, overall experience is good.
Placements: Placements are quite limited, and if they are there, they are not from reputable companies with low packages. A small number of students get internships. However, a few good students may get better opportunities if they do well in academics during their academic years.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are quite airy, but there is a lack of good lighting. Wi-Fi facility is not there. There are so many jammers, it is really difficult to use even your mobile data. Food in the canteen is decent, not that much good. There is a quite big sports ground for sports purposes.
Faculty: Faculty of the college is really nice; they support in academics as well as in extracurricular activities. The semester exams are not that difficult. One can score decent marks if he/she has attended classes properly. Overall pass percentage is decent.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to go further in this field. I have learned a lot and observed holistic development in my own thoughts. There are many useful events in the college, and there is scope for scholarships for the students.

Wanna go to Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Chandigarh Sector 11? Read this first!
Placements: I am in 2nd year now, so I don't have any personal experience about placements. But I have seen a video of an alumni from this college who got a job with 18k per month as a starting salary, but there was a bond of 3 years required to get that job. So, it's a good salary in the beginning for people who are doing B.Com.
Infrastructure: The library is nice. Classrooms are not so high-end, but still, they are okay. Wi-Fi is not available, not even at the hostel. The food is not so good but not that bad. The same menu can irritate you. Hostel rooms are clean. The rooms are spacious, and the color of the walls is good.
Faculty: Very few teachers know how to teach. Some just read the books, but some are good for real. They teach in the easiest ways and motivate students for the future too. But this happens everywhere. In every college, you'll find some teachers with good methods of teaching and some with bad ones.
Other: Scholarships are available on the basis of caste, merit, and private scholarships are also available. Fee concession is available too for general category students.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2025

Absolutely dissatisfied with faculty .
Placements: Most of BCA students get placement but most of them didnt get any placement In terms of placement, there are only few companies which come to our college after SD. top recruiters are mostly wipro Infosys, etc.
the highest package was around 5 LPA
And the lowest was 2–3 LPA..
Infrastructure: I would say infrastructure is kind of below average; most of the building is under construction, and they didn't have the particular I.T. room since it was under construction, and the hostel is also under construction. This college feels like I'm in some hospital or something. All the infrastructure is complete or not that great.
Faculty: Since our college is affiliated with Panjab University, the exams are kind of perfect. The syllabus is nice, and the exam timing as well as the holidays in between exams are justified. Also, exams are not that difficult from my perspective, but you know there are a few subjects that are quite difficult, but exams are mostly easy.

Wouldn't recommend at all.
Placements: This college will not provide you with any placements. Only the local companies that no one has ever heard of come to the college for placement, offering 1.5 LPA. And the college faculty placement coordinators are also not at all supportive. Don't come.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are in good shape. There is no Wi-Fi on the campus, and also the seats at the canteen are broken, but the food is good. The college itself is big, and the computer labs are very beautiful. The library is average looking, and the college has no network.
Faculty: The curriculum is outdated. You are learning the same content that was taught 20 years ago at this college. The placement is a joke, and the subjects are as old as the buildings of the college. And they also won’t help you get any internship. Don't come.
Other: Some of the events organized by the college are good.

Good college according to the fee structure.
Placements: If we talk about placements in this college, the placements are not so good, but we can say that they are average. Some companies, like calling companies from Mohali, generally come for this college. So if we talk about how many students will get the placement it completed depends on your quality that how will you get the placement they will take your aptitude test and many things or just salary that they provided are just about 20,000 per month and in my opinion it is just the highest salary that the companies will offer to us. In our batch 2024 batch, if we talk about students, please so out of 150 students, just 20 students will be placed, not more than that and it just depends on their quality that they are placed.
Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastructure, as per a government college, it is good, but there is a lack of network connection. It's a difficult task for all of us to stay in this college for three years, and even calls don’t connect, so you can estimate the type of network here. Classrooms are also good for a government college, and the library is quite good, providing decent facilities. I was also in the hostel, which is quite good compared to the college. Many facilities like a mess, pantry, and medical support are provided in the hostel, and it's quite an enjoyable experience living there.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is also good. Moreover, this college is known for its academic level. However, the curriculum is not relevant and does not prepare us for the industry level. The semester exams depend on the Punjab University’s paper setting, not the college itself. Mid-semester exams are conducted by the college, and they also follow the Punjab University syllabus, so preparation needs to align with that.
Other: Actually, I am from a commerce background, which is why I chose B.Com at this college. The main improvement I'd like to see in this course is the addition of practical work, as currently, it’s mostly theoretical. Practical work would really benefit students, similar to what students in Delhi experience. Very few events are organized in our college, but the campus itself is quite large, larger than most colleges in Chandigarh. There are four hostels on campus, with facilities like Nescafe, canteens, a pantry area, a cobbler, a gym, and more. Overall, this college is good.

If you have proper knowledge of the subject, you can opt for this college.
Placements: Only three to four students are placed from our college, and only two to three companies visited our college. The package was below 200,000 per annum. Top recruiting company is Deloitte. No internship programs are developed in our college. The accountant role is offered by the companies.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi facilities are given, even though the college network connection is poor. Only the library has internet access, which is given only with permission. Hostel rooms are good enough according to the price. The quality of food is normal. The warden is very strict, and proper timing should be maintained.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful, but some teachers have no proper knowledge about their subject. Teachers are overburdened due to the lack of faculty. They didn't recruit teachers. There are no proper group discussions; only in the first semester are group discussions organized.
