It provides good facilities and good teachers. It is one of the best and under the top 10 colleges.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, fully qualified, and knowledgeable. BCA has a good scope. In my opinion, B. Tech will be much more helpful as compared to BCA in the future. However, BCA is a very good course. Semester exams are not so difficult but it depend on students. In the BCA, the pass percentage is above 40-45%.

The college is good and worth it, as the faculty here is good compared to other colleges.

Faculty: The faculty of the college is good. They are easily approachable and help students at every step. Some professors give real-world knowledge along with bookish knowledge, but some professors are not on par with the student's needs. They just read the chapters from the book and mark those chapters done.

Absolutely dissatisfied with faculty .

Faculty: Since our college is affiliated with Panjab University, the exams are kind of perfect. The syllabus is nice, and the exam timing as well as the holidays in between exams are justified. Also, exams are not that difficult from my perspective, but you know there are a few subjects that are quite difficult, but exams are mostly easy.

Those who actually want to study can join the institute and explore a lot.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams vary according to different semesters; some semesters are easy, and some are difficult. The teaching quality was very good; teachers paid a lot of attention and were very determined.

My personal experience at Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 11, Chandigarh in BCA.

Faculty: As my course is BCA, it is one of the hardest courses. Still, there is no practical experience as teachers expect us to cram answers. They don't guide us properly. They don't even take proper classes. Exams are conducted in a proper way, but the faculty for the BCA course isn't appropriate.

If you have proper knowledge of the subject, you can opt for this college.

Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful, but some teachers have no proper knowledge about their subject. Teachers are overburdened due to the lack of faculty. They didn't recruit teachers. There are no proper group discussions; only in the first semester are group discussions organized.

Highly affordable, good amenities, and good sports facilities.

Faculty: The BCA department has approximately 10-15 teachers. All the faculty are well-knowledgeable, well-mannered, and polite; all are UGC qualified and are Ph.D. holders. The course is designed in such a way that students get in-depth knowledge about the applications of computers. But this does not mean that this makes the students industry-ready; the students need to study and conceptualize and apply the practical knowledge of algorithms and coding language. The semester exams are easy to moderate; t...

Satisfied because of good faculty and facilities.

Faculty: The teachers of the college are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Overall, the teaching quality is above average. The students who have started college in 2024 have a new curriculum under NEP. This curriculum is quite relevant. It makes students ready for their future occupations and helps them deal with their stress. The semester exams are not very tough. The pass percentage is 80%. Students need to be prepared beforehand and have all their concepts clear.

It is a good college in terms of the fee structure. The mess food is poor & placements are average.

Faculty: Our teachers are good. They are Ph.D. holders. They are good at teaching. The course curriculum is relevant. However, the college does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy. The passing percentage is 33%.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements; other than that, overall experience is good.

Faculty: Faculty of the college is really nice; they support in academics as well as in extracurricular activities. The semester exams are not that difficult. One can score decent marks if he/she has attended classes properly. Overall pass percentage is decent.

Wanna go to Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Chandigarh Sector 11? Read this first!

Faculty: Very few teachers know how to teach. Some just read the books, but some are good for real. They teach in the easiest ways and motivate students for the future too. But this happens everywhere. In every college, you'll find some teachers with good methods of teaching and some with bad ones.

Wouldn't recommend at all.

Faculty: The curriculum is outdated. You are learning the same content that was taught 20 years ago at this college. The placement is a joke, and the subjects are as old as the buildings of the college. And they also won’t help you get any internship. Don't come.

Good college according to the fee structure.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is also good. Moreover, this college is known for its academic level. However, the curriculum is not relevant and does not prepare us for the industry level. The semester exams depend on the Punjab University’s paper setting, not the college itself. Mid-semester exams are conducted by the college, and they also follow the Punjab University syllabus, so preparation needs to align with that.

Faculty: Teachers in the college are very well qualified and experienced. And their teaching quality is good. Yes, the course curriculum is very relevant. And I will surely make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate to difficult . And pass percentage is around 70% on average.

Ok college life, but I enjoyed hostel life.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and will make sure you understand if you have any queries. But mostly, you have to do things by yourself as you are in college. Semester exams are not very difficult if you study regularly. The pass percentage in the semester is 33%, but most students get more than 50, so it is not that difficult.
