PGIMER Chandigarh offers a total of 13 courses under its B.Sc program. Each of the courses has a different seat intake as per the demand and seat availability. The total seat intake for B.Sc as per the reseources as 182 seats. Thus, a total to 182 students can do B.Sc at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research. 93 seats for B.Sc Nursing with five seats reserved for PWD.

For Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research admission, candidates need to qualify INICET entrance exam. Eligible candidates are then called for the counseling round. PGIMER's application process is completely online.

Candidates who meet the eligible cut off are then invited for personal counselling rounds at the institute. Once the seats get allocated, candidates are required to pay the admission fee prescribed by the college in the stipulated timeframe. After successful payment, candidates must report to the institute according to the schedule given by the college. Successful reporting concludes the admission process.

As per resources and information availaible, the initial entrance exam which is accepted by PGIMER Chandigarh for admission is INI CET. There may be a chance that NEET-PG is also conisdered for admission but INI CET is the considered for admission to majority of the courses. Other than this, PGIMER also conducts its own entrance exam for admission to various courses. So basically you have to score a good marks in NEET PG. I repeat NEET PG it isn't NEET (UG) . PGIMER Chandigarh accepts its own entrance exam for admisssion to M.Sc courses. However, admission to other PG courses such as MD/ MS/ M.Ch/ DM at PGIMER Chandigarh is done on the basis of score in INI CET followed by counseling. PGIMER Chandigarh conducts its own entrance exam for admission to other UG, PG, and Doctoral courses. The total seat intake for M.Sc at PGIMER Chandigarh is 25 seats.

Yes, you can get admission to PGIMER for B.Sc courses with 60% in Class 12th. For example, the eligibility criteria for B.Sc (Radiotherapy Technology) at PGIMER Chandigarh is the successful completion of the 12th Class. Additionally, for B.Sc Nursing, a 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English is required. The admssion cycle for various courses at PGIMER Chandigarh varies. For some courses, the application process has already been started in December 2023.
