Pragjyotish college review
Placements: 0% of students were placed in our course. There was no highest or lowest package was offered because the college didn't help to place you in job. The college didn't help to get internships from our courses. Mainly the college didn't help to place you in job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus was ok not too bad no too good. The facilities was there was labs but too small for 300 students and the classroom is also small for 300 class size. The classes were congested , and there was hostel only for the girls.
Faculty: The teacher or faculty member were very helpful towards the students. The teaching quality is ok not too good not too bad. The course curriculum is not good because it doesn't make you industry ready. There were two exams one sessional and semester exam was tough.

College environment is good, but in terms of placement, the college is the worst.
Placements: Just 2-3 students got their jobs; others are still jobless. Only local companies came for recruiting, and very few students got internships. Only 4-5% of students got placed. I would say this is the worst college in terms of placement; no one even comes to recruit.
Infrastructure: Facilities were good, and the classrooms are okay, although they can be improved. The library was good, with Wi-Fi facilities and a very calm environment with AC. The canteen food was the worst—not too good and a waste of money. However, there is a great sports facility in the college, with various kinds of sports you can play.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful; they provide everything they can and are highly qualified with good knowledge, but they're a bit lazy. Semester exams are not too difficult if you study well. The pass percentage is around 75-80%. The course curriculum is irrelevant here.

Review of Pragjyotish College.
Placements: The college has a career counseling cell and, from time to time, collabs with different organizations and organizes counseling programs. Internship programs are also organized by tie-ups with renowned institutes. Placement offers are not guaranteed here.
Infrastructure: The classrooms of our department were good, and seating capacity was adequate. The classrooms had projectors and white boards. There was also a dedicated lab and library for our department. The college only has a girls hostel; many of my friends stay there, and according to them, the hostel is above average. Food quality is average, and there is a running water supply.
Faculty: The teachers mostly held a Ph.D. They were very knowledgeable and some were very well aware of how to address a students problem. They had good insight and expertise in the subject matter and tried to explain and resolve students' doubts. The course was according to the curriculum provided by the Gauhati University. And was well enough to help a student gain insights into the subject and gain their knowledge. The exams were held by the Gauhati University and the exams were somewhat tricky and mostly conceptual. The papers are sometimes a bit too long, and sometimes some general knowledge is also required to answers them. One can pass the exam with some effort and study but to score well, they have to be persistent.
Other: The course I opted for was for geography, as I was an aspirant for civil services. The department offered good infrastructure and tools in the subject and had its own laboratory and library, which is, to be honest, a good one—not the best but above most of the other colleges. The course somewhat needs to address what is required in real life in practical terms, not something only good on the paper. The college hosted a couple of events time and again, starting from the freshers meet in September to the annual college week in March. In between multiple events and fairs are organized by different organizations of the college.

Satisfied to study here and the college is value for money.
Placements: There is no such placement for this course we get, as it is a bachelor's degree. But you can get to higher studies like Masters in IITs or central universities. And it is indeed a good course because it provides more professional jobs than any other bachelor's course.
Infrastructure: In our department, there are smart classes and as it requires laboratories, it has good-quality laboratories with good equipment and chemicals. The library at this college is the top library in the state. The boys hostel is being made right now. There is canteen but the food quality is not that good.
Faculty: Yes, teachers were highly qualified; everybody in this department is a Ph.D. holder and one is qualified for a postdoctoral degree. They are quite knowledgeable and very helpful. Yes, this course is relevant; moreover, it is an essential course for any industry.
Other: I had chosen this course because I loved the subject so much and at the end, after taking this subject as a main course, it was worth it for me as it provided good-quality jobs. There are many fests that are organised by the student union every year. There is a scholarship for your admission if you don't get failed in any semester and you have an income certificate with a value of less than 1 lac per annum.

Totally satisfied from the campus, faculty members and the knowledge I got.
Placements: Almost 50% students were placed. Almost all students got internship. I was highly satisfied with the campus, faculty members and the knowledge I got. My college offers many courses and co curriculum activities like football, cricket, crafting, seminar etc.
Infrastructure: The campus of our college is very natural, all campus is covered by nature. The classrooms have digital board. Well developed classrooms for the students. The teachers are experienced and have better knowledge about the subject. The college have library, gym, study room with AC for the students.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and experienced. The teaching quality is very good. The college fee is affordable for everyone. The course is relevant to industry. Chemistry graduate can work in any field. It teaches the application of chemical in industries.
