PSIT Kanpur is a great college overall.

Placements: 42% of students were placed in my course. 5 LPA, 1 LPA, and 3.5 LPA are the average packages offered in my course. Top recruiting companies for my course are Nestle, Lupin, Dabur, Tata 1 MG, OG Healthcare, Zifo, Integrated Resources Inclusive, and Antal International.

Our college provides good exposure to students.

Placements: For engineering courses, placements are great. The salary package offered is up to 30 LPA, but for the B.Pharma course, the highest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Our college provides better placements to the students. The best companies that visited our campus are Nestle and Dabur.

Faculty and placements should be improved.

Placements: In my previous batch, about 20 students had been placed. In marketing, nestle is their prime recruiter. Other companies are related to production. Almost nil campus placement is there. Student choose outside campus placements. In Pharmacy, the highest package was 6 LPA.

A great place for education as well as personality development.

Placements: More than 322 students got placed in only one mass recruiting company this year. Many companies visit PSIT for recruitment. The placement record of our college is 95%. Students of all the branches are placed in their course-specific companies. Medical companies come to recruit pharmacy students. Placements are very good because the college organised a practice mock interviews and other training for the final year students to help them increase and enhance their skills.

It's too good to be a student at PSIT.

Placements: There is a placement cell at PSIT which takes the charge of all the placements through campus. B.Pharma students get average placement as a fewer companies visit the campus for us. Still a good number of seniors have been placed this year with satisfactory salary packages.

In terms of infrastructure, I will give A+ rating to PSIT. The buildings were well-spaced and systematic. Campus is not so far from city so students can easily find conveyance but college buses are going to and fro. Education wise faculties appointed are good. Lab facility is also good. The main thing which I liked was the punctuality and for that in PSIT attendance should be 90% only then your admit card will be given or else a fine will be imposed. For students who really want to have a good c...

Overall it is a good college, but it has strict rules that can be tolerated.

Placements: Most of the students in our college got placed, and previous year placements were also much better. The highest salary package offered by Nestle India is 15 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 4-6 LPA. Some students were not placed because they were not well-qualified for the jobs. Many companies visit every year and hire students.
