DU CUET Subject Combination: University of Delhi offers a variety of courses for the Science, Commerce, and Arts stream. Candidates seeking admission to Delhi University must check the DU CUET subject combination 2025 for UG courses offered by them. Candidates must enter the DU CUET subject combinations while filling out the CUET 2025 application form. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the CUET DU course eligibility criteria to qualify for the admission process. CUET UG 2025 registrations are expected to commence in last week of February. NTA will release the list CUET accepting universities along with the courses offered and CUET subject mapping criteria. CUET UG 2025 will be held tentatively in May/June 2025 in CBT mode.

Q:   How do I select the domain subjects for CUET UG?

A:

Before selecting the test or domain subjects, candidates are advised to visit the official website of university/organaisation they wish to apply for. Candidates must check the courses offered and eligibility test that they should appear in for admission to desired course. The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university from the following sections:

  • Section I - 13 Languages
  • Section II - 23 Domain Specific Subjects
  • Section III - General Test

It is not mandatory to choose any one or more of the tests stated above. The choice of tests would depend on the course/s opted by the candidate and the University / Organization / Institution where admission is sought. 

Q:   Can I opt for several subjects in section II of CUET to apply for various courses?

A:

Yes, an CUET applicant can opt for one or more combinations of the following:

  • Section I: Language Test
  • Section II: Domain subject test
  • Section III: General Aptitude Test

Candidates will be able to opt up to a maximum of five subjects in order to apply to different applicable courses that require these subjects for being eligible for admissions. Candidates can choose subjects irrresptive of subjects studied in 12th grade under their eligibility conditions for a particular programme.

Q:   How do I apply for a college which requires CUET percentage even though am yet to give CUET?

A:

Candidates can apply for CUET score accepting colleges through CUET UG 2025 application form. While filling the application form, candidates will be required to enter the name of the preffered universities and courses in order of preference. On declaration of the CUET results, the scores will be shared with the unoversities for which candidate has applied. Basis on the score obtained candidate will be shortlisted for the applied course.

NTA offers 23 domain subjects, 33 languages, and a general test to make DU CUET subject combination. Candidates preparing for CUET 2025 UG exam must check the list of the CUET domain subjects 2025 mentioned below:

Q:   Does CUET require OBC certificate?

A:

Yes, OBC candidates applying for CUET must upload the OBC-NCL certificate in online CUET application form. The OBC-NCL certificate must be issued in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India. If candidate fail to upload the OBC-NCL certificate (issued on or after 01 April, 2024) at the time of CUET 2025 registration, then in such case they will have to upload a declaration in lieu of OBC-NCl certificate to that effect. 

Candidates belonging to reserved categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by Government of India. However, in the case of central universities admission, the reservation criteria of the respective university shall be applicable.

Q:   When can I apply for the CUET exam?

A:

National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the CUET UG 2025 registrations at cuetug.ntaonline.in. Candidates desirous of taking admission to University/college through CUET must fill the application form before the deadline. On the release of the CUET notification important dates for CUET 2025 will be announced. CUET 2025 application process will be in online mode. Candidates will be required to fill the application form, upload documents and pay the application fee in online mode only. CUET is a gateway to more tahn 250 universities across India for its UG courses.

Q:   How many subjects can I choose for the CUET exam?

A:

From CUET UG 2025 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th. 

Q:   Can I join S K Somaiya College without CUET for B.Sc?

A:

S. K. Somaiya College offers multiple pathways for admission to its B.Sc. program. Besides the CUET applicants with a non zero SAT 2024 score are eligible. Additionally scores from exams like JEE-Main (Paper-1) 2024, PERA CET-2024 and MHT CET 2024 are considered. Interim admission in Phase 1 is based on Semester V results while Phase 2 includes a personal interview. Final decisions are made considering both academic merit and interview performance.

How to Select DU CUET Subject Combination?

While filling the CUET 2025 application form, candidates must enter the CUET subject combination as per the DU courses eligibility mentioned above. Candidates will be able to choose a maximum of 06 subjects for CUET which includes 04 or 05 domain subjects, including General Test and 01 or 02 languages.  While selecting DU CUET subjects, candidates must note the important strategies below:
