Major IT firms such as Accenture, TCS, Infosys, etc.and banking institutes like ICICI, Axis and HDFC visit the campus for final placements. Summer internship opportunities were average, and not everyone gets an internship from college. No stipend was provided in most cases. The college is above average in most of the categories.

Placements: Our batch had 120 students in the MS programme, and around 90% of the students got placed. Rest either didn't opt for placements or a particular job profile. To get placed at WE School is easy, and the average salary package offered is also decent. MS course fee is also less than PGDM.

Short review of Welingkar college.

Placements: Welingkar has enrolled a lot of PG students of rural, business design, and healthcare department for placements. Thus, the competition becomes tough for MS students. Less number of students should be enrolled in placements. In other colleges like Sydenham and JBIMS, there is less intake of students, and the competition is thus low.

It is one of the best B-schools in Mumbai.

Placements: The placements of the college are good enough. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Companies like Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Crisil, KPMG, Thomas Cook and many more visit the campus. The placements for marketing specialisation are high. This year, many more new companies will be visiting to hire students from all specialisations. Live projects are also offered.

A go to college if you have a 1 year+ work experience and expecting a 8+ LPA package.

Placements: Placements in the college are average. The average package offered is 7 LPA. Almost 80% of the batch got placed. Many companies come for placements, but they prefer work experience. So a student with work experience aiming for a package of more than 8-9 lacs per annum can choose this college. Currently, the highest package offered in our batch is 15 lacs per annum, and it is offered by Accenture. A good number of banks like ICICI, HDFC, and Axis visit the campus for placements. Other than these,...

The best infrastructure and facilities, and average faculty.

Placements: Placements at Welingkar are good. The average package offered is around 7 LPA. Placement percentage of PGDM is higher than MS. A student from the 2019 batch has been placed with a package of 9.80 LPA. Till now, companies like Accenture, Deloitte visited the college for placements of the 2019 batch. Internship process for the 2020 batch has already started with companies like Morgan Stanley, GEP, Deloitte, Capgemini, VIP, HDFC, and Nestle. Really good infrastructure and amenities which allow us to develop our knowledge and skills.

Placements: As an MS student, we had to struggle a lot during the placements. PGDM students get the leverage because they have regular mock and GD sessions. Also, the placements for operations are not that good. The college is famous for its marketing placement. Various banks like microfinance bank visit the college for recruitment.

Overall the college is a good place to study but if you want a better career try to avoid Welingkar.

Placements: The placement report of the senior batch was not so good as seen before. About 70% of the students were placed till the end of April. Coming to the salary the information given was vague but it ranged in between 5 LPA to 14 LPA. Now for our batch the summer internship process was again an average one. 75% people got through the college but others had to find the internship on their own. They Stipend was also not good. Plus the roles offered were not relevant to the students specialisations. Ther...

This is my experience at Welingkar.

Placements: The offered placements vary across A-class companies to C-class as well. The competition in the campus placements is huge as the overall batch size is almost 550-600 students. So, it is a tough task to shine through such a competition. However, if the challenge is taken up, then you can ensure your all-round development.

It had good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The was a placement season, and the highest package offered was 10-12 LPA. Not many students from my batch got placed. Many companies came for finance and marketing specialisation. The lowest package offered to students was 4 LPA.

It is the best college to study.

Placements: CMC handles the placement process. It brings in companies from all domains, and the package I received is very good, and you can expect a good ROI out of your investments made in terms of fees. Good finance companies have also visited this year. Placement week starts in November and lasts till all the students get placed.

A great place to study but could do better in terms of coursework for MS and placements.

Placements: The placement scene is extremely good for marketing, and a lot of companies do turn up for finance. In this year, the HR placements do look a little bleak. I would advise you to contact the seniors and current students for better personal advice. The faculty do help a lot.

The average B-school college.

Placements: The placement season has declined in this season as compared to previous year. It’s a big challenge for freshers as companies prefer candidates with experience. The companies coming for marketing is mostly for sales. The average placement is 8 LPA. But this time it has come down to 6 LPA which is a great steep. The companies should start giving more opportunities to freshers.

Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch were excellent. For our batch, the placements have not been very great but they are not bad as well. The average package is around 6-7 Lacs. Majority of the companies come with pan India roles. Students are not allowed to negotiate packages or locations.

An amazing place to do MBA.

Placements: The placement scenario is very good for both internships, as well as for placements. Executive companies are coming for both streams, for all specialisations. The average CTC is 6 LPA. The placement cell (CMC) does a very good job of handling and getting companies. Still, the placements are going on.

Especially marketing companies offered attractive packages and companies like Accenture, Madhura garments, McDonald's, M&M, HDFC bank, GEP, EY, ICICI, Deloitte and much more with attractive job positions on sales and marketing, financial services, HR talent acquisition and recruitment covering all specializations with wide choices of profiles.
