Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Placements are good in college.
Placements: In my college, 75 percent of students are placed in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. The highest package is 7.5 Lakh, the lowest package is 3 Lakh, and the average package is 3.5 Lakh. Top recruiting companies that come to my college include Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: My college, Proof Ram Megha College of Engineering and Management, is a good college for teaching. Facilities and infrastructure are available in our department, and they are good. Many facilities and infrastructure are available, such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library. The food in the canteen is good, and many sporting events are held.
Faculty: In my department, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, the teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the teachers is good and very understanding. In my course, semester exams are moderate, and the passing mark is 40 out of 100. 20 marks are internal, and 20 marks are in the exam.
Other: I chose this course because Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is an interesting course, and it is a core branch, meaning 30 percent of the syllabus is software, and 70 percent is hardware.

Satisfied with the faculty, good infrastructure, good placement.
Placements: Above 70% students get placements with all clear. The highest average package is 4 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Recruiting companies are Capgemini, Infosys, Hexaware, Wipro, TCS, KPIT. There is no hiring for internships. Associate Software Engineer, System Engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available only in the lab. The library is spacious but has no AC. Classrooms are small and clean. The college provides bus service for girls, but there is no boys' hostel.
Faculty: The teaching staff is well qualified and has good knowledge. Their teaching is good and they are supportive. The course is relevant, but you need to study on your own or you can also join a training institute for getting ready for the industry. The semester exam is not so difficult, and there is combined passing: practical + written = 40 marks.

Not satisfied with learning outcomes.
Placements: About 60%placement but most are off campus about 4-5 lac per annum low is 3.6 Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, IBM. Etc. The role offered are system engineer, data analyst, programmer, and software developer. In most cases, students got placed off-campus because the companies that students refer to are not coming to college.
Infrastructure: The only first-year department is well infrastructure and well furnished even the lab are good but when you come to the department it is the worst no ACs, only a few computers work no proper Wi-Fi connection, even the projectors are not working on which they teach us.
Faculty: They are qualified, and helpful but lack teaching strategies most of the lecturers left the college because of the campus infrastructures they show it as if they have everything in the college but that's not true as a student I noticed that and thought of telling it to someone get help.
Other: Overall good but lack in lacks in all things when it comes to department level.

Decent and average in all aspects.
Placements: In our college, a 7.5 CGPA is the eligibility criteria for selection in campus placements. Many good companies like TCS, Wipro, Infotech, and Infosys come to recruit students for placements. They offer good packages to students. One of the best salary packages I have ever known is 45 LPA.
Infrastructure: There is a good college campus with fully furnished classrooms and well-equipped laboratories. We have a good Wi-Fi system with high-speed connectivity. In our college, we have a well-maintained library. An ambulance is available for emergency. Every year, Mitra championship is conducted through college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, cooperative, friendly, and understanding. They bring the world going towards artificial intelligence. This course is very important for future needs. I am sure that it will make me industry-ready. Exams are quite moderately difficult. The passing percentage is 75%.
Other: As there is a scope for information technology, I decided to choose this course.
