Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Placements are good in college.
Placements: In my college, 75 percent of students are placed in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. The highest package is 7.5 Lakh, the lowest package is 3 Lakh, and the average package is 3.5 Lakh. Top recruiting companies that come to my college include Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: My college, Proof Ram Megha College of Engineering and Management, is a good college for teaching. Facilities and infrastructure are available in our department, and they are good. Many facilities and infrastructure are available, such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library. The food in the canteen is good, and many sporting events are held.
Faculty: In my department, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, the teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the teachers is good and very understanding. In my course, semester exams are moderate, and the passing mark is 40 out of 100. 20 marks are internal, and 20 marks are in the exam.
Other: I chose this course because Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is an interesting course, and it is a core branch, meaning 30 percent of the syllabus is software, and 70 percent is hardware.

Teachers are very good in every work. Practical and theoretical knowledge is most important.
Placements: About 50% of the students get placed per year. Companies provide you with a salary package of up to 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.6 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra and Amazon visit this campus for placements. Our college also provides you with training on short courses like IoT, robotics, etc.
Infrastructure: The canteen is the best part of our college. The library is also good, and there is also an internet facility for you.
Faculty: The quality of teaching of the faculty members here is very good, so you don't need to take tuitions. Their knowledge is very good about their respective subject, and they provide you with the best chapter details by explaining in detail. The teaching quality is very good. Teachers of ENTC were very good. Infrastructure and practical labs were excellent.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students got placed in Pune. The salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting company of our college is TCS Pune. None of the students got an internship. The top role offered to the students is a software engineer in TCS company at Pune. At that time, all students were blessed to get placed as previous 3 years there were no campus placements. Aptitude test and interviews were very easy at that time.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are excellent, and the infrastructure is great. Wi-Fi speed is very good. Library facilities are also great, and the librarian is also helpful. Facilities in the hostel for sports are very good. At that time, there were many sports in our college, but students liked only cricket. We also won the university trophy.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful in all subjects, practicals, projects and seminars of electronics devices and networking. All teachers and staff members were excellent and had knowledge of all subjects and practicals.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my interested in electronics machine. I wish the college to improve practicals. Events and fests conducted here were very good.

I am satisfied with the faculty. Placements are less in the year 2020, and it has good facilities.
Placements: Nearly 60-70% of the students get placed from our course. The salary package offered in our course ranges between 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, MNCs, telecom companies like BSNL visit our college for placements. Top roles like manager, assistant manager, tester and designer are offered to the students. The highest salary package offered in our course is 20 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 4-5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges between 2-3 LPA. About 50% of the students from our course got an internship in TCS company.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are up to date. The library has all types of books required for students. Classrooms are equipped with air-conditioned and projectors. The hostel is good with good quality of food. Canteen is also good. There is a medical centre in the college. Sports and games centre is also available.
Faculty: The best thing about this institute is that it has the best quality teachers with the best teaching facilities. They are enough qualified and helpful. They have excellent knowledge of their subjects. Their teaching is good, and they provide PPTs, notes and do invite some guest lecturers. The course curriculum is best, and it makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have some sort of interest in electronics. From this course, we can get jobs in IT and electronics fields. There should be a more realistic approach in the course that includes real things in the IT industry. All types of events, fests and extracurricular activities are conducted on the campus. Scholarships are also available.
