Overall, best college for MSc in applied microbiology courses.
Placements: About 75% of students are placed. The maximum salary package offered was 26 LPA. Leading companies include Bharat Biotech, Zydus Cadila, and Novozymes. An internship is offered to 70% of students. We are assigned Food Technology responsibilities. College was excited to teach us and provide extra assistance so that we could ace our interviews.
Infrastructure: Our college has a large library with numerous volumes. This library holds almost 50,000 books. The campus is quite lovely, and many events, festivals, and workshops are held during the session. These are very intriguing.
Faculty: Lectures delivered by faculty members are effective and easy to understand. Since it is an autonomous college, each student can easily complete all assignments. Benefits of teaching exceed our expectations. To pass college, students must score15 internal exams and 35 in external exams. The pass rate is 83%.

Very good placements and the exposure is excellent.
Placements: The students with 85-95% of marks excel in placements. The highest package is 12 lpa, the average would be around 8 lpa, and the lowest is around 1 lpa. Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, and TCS would be top recruiting companies. The students with 70% marks got internships at Goldman Sachs. Students chairman of the college has the top role among the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is splendid, where the students can explore labs for computers, Physics lab, library, the food processing unit, food courts, etc. The hostels excel in food and it secures the students with the utmost care. The quality of food is very excellent in the college canteen.
Faculty: The teachers are very approachable, very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. The course is very relevant to real-life application. The semester exams are moderate in level, which is very understandable and doable. The pass percentage is around 40% .

Review of PSG College of Arts and Science - PSGCAS.
Placements: I did my Bachelor's in Psychology. As for placements, psychology students don't have any chance, and even if they get a job, it will be like a data analyst or something like that. If they have any computer skills, then there are some extra chances to get placed.
Infrastructure: A projector is available in almost all classes. Wi-Fi is not good, and some SIM cards like Vodafone will not have a signal. There is a common lab for every psychology student. The hostel is good, and laundry is provided. The food served in the hostel is also good, and there is a canteen in the hostel for hostel students.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly, supportive, and easily approachable. They use PPTs to teach lessons and share books and notes. The syllabus will change for new joiners ensuring they gain knowledge in the growing field. Exams can be cracked easily. Students should obtain 40% to pass.
Other: I chose this course to help me to understand myself in a better way. The best thing about the course is the faculty members. Many events like inter-department, inter-college, intra-college, etc., are held.

Good placement and good infrastructure and faculty
Placements: About 70 percent of the students were placed in on campus placement drives which started in month of June 2024 and till November 2024 companies kept visiting to hire students from BE cse, btech cse, MSc programs in computer science other branches got very minimal opportunities. Highest package was 24 LPA for MSc graduates whereas for btech cse and btech IT Google hired which was 45 LPS. Least package was 4 LPA and no one obtained it least one got placed with 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Top recruiter were Caterpillar, Trimble , Google, Walmart, IDFC bank and many more. All students who were placed obtained an internship as well as placement offers. So about 50 to 60 percent of people got an internship offer along with a full time offer. Most of the high paying roles were either software developer SDE and data analyst or business analyst roles.
Infrastructure: Department had an excellent lab facility and faculty are majority nice ones. There are some senior faculties who are utterly troublesome but you can manage your way out of it. Hostel facility especially for girls are excellent we had very healthy and nutritious food for 3 meals and we got snacks in evening as well. Our rooms were very spacious hostel was very huge very clean and well maintained. We had sanitary napkin disposed and also our bathroom were regularly cleaned we had very good. Wifi in both on campus and in hostel and electricity was never an issue. We had drinking water supplied through ronand bathing. We had nice water. We used to get hot water supply regular as well our medical issues were addressed in PSG hospital itself. We had emergency ambulance right in hostel. We had sports, NCC activities including football, basketball and many other games.
Faculty: Teachers have 20 plus years of experience. They regularly conduct classes and class notes are sufficient to crack examination. Also course curriculum was relevant but not very helpful for placement we need to hustle hard to gain industry relevant projects and skill. Semester exams are pretty easy. Internals are harder and 50 percent is the pass percentage for semester exams.
Other: This course was promised to offer an average of 14 LPA to 40 LPA but due to recession this figure reduced to 7 LPA to 14 LPA. I wish they raise the standard of this course to make the students industry ready and attract more high paying MNC to increase the average package. We have only one event yearly so not much celebration will be held.

Best experience to cherish for life. Faculties to guide and mentor.
Placements: Most of the students of my course opted for higher education. Only few attended placements except one person all the other are selected in the placement program. The average package offered was 3LPA. The companies like TCS, Face prep, Accenture, HCl are recruiting students.
Infrastructure: The college provides separate WiFi passwords to all the students. The classrooms are provided with projectors, and they are spacious. The psychology laboratory contains cabins to experiment with apparatus and questionnaires. The library has all the books, and we can take them home and should return them by the scheduled date.
Faculty: The faculty members of the department were friendly and they have a wide range of knowledge. Apart from studies, they will help us even in our career journey. The semester exam is conducted for 50 marks, and another 50 marks is divided into 2 parts: 30 is the average of both the internship and 20 is for library, attendance, skill innovation, and assignment.
Other: I chose this course to know about myself and to get a good understanding of others. There are 2 events conducted in this college. Intracollege cultural named 'WIZARDS' for aided students and 'HEARTBEAT' for self-finance students. Inter college cultural named 'CASCALL' and 'EUPHORIA’.

I am satisfied with this college as I have many opportunities to grab and develop my skills.
Placements: I am currently studying in this college, and the placements here are great. A lot of companies approached this college, and you can attend as many interviews and get placed easily in a high-paying job. The highest package was more than 18 LPA. The companies that visit this college are top reputed companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is also quite good with all the facilities like lifts, Wi-Fi, labs, smart classrooms, and many AC halls for seminars. Even the library is facilitated with good e-facilities. Hostels here are average because of a lot of rules and restrictions, especially for girls.
Faculty: This college is very strict in the matter of curriculum and exams. The students need quite a high percentage in exams. They are more strict in the case of attendance. The faculty members are good; most of the staff are friendly, and the rest of them are strict and not approachable.
Other: The best thing about this course is that we can get more practical knowledge, like there is an event called "Know Your Market," where every student of BBA puts up a stall of their own choice and gains a lot of practical knowledge about the market, customers, and business. Moreover, there are also many fun events where students can chill apart from their academic stress. Students can also join and participate in many extracurricular activities and clubs of their own choice.
