PICT college honest review .

Placements: Placements are good, but there is too much competition. Take VJTI/CUMMINS/COEP if possible. The college also has separate dream criteria, and sometimes they shortlist students based on their CGPA. You can also consider WCE Sangli, as that college has no such criteria.

Join only if you can sacrifice your 4 years of life to just get a job.

Placements: More than 90% of students get placed through college placements. The average package is around 8 LPA. The highest is 33-34 LPA at PhonePe. (Only 2-3 students get this.) No companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft, or Amazon came for on-campus placements. If you find someone telling you that these companies come to PICT, it's a total lie.

Placements are good. One must take admission to this college.

Placements: 80% of students from this college are placed. The highest package offered is 24 LPA and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting company is Barclays. Internship is not allowed in academics. If internship is of less than 2 months, then it is okay.

Take admission if you want good placements and can compromise on college life.

Placements: Almost all students who appear for placements get placed. The highest is around 40 LPA, the lowest is around 4 LPA, and the average is around 8LPA. Codenation, Amazon, HSBC Bank, Deutsch Bank, Bajaj Finance, Phonepe, etc. are some major companies. Internship is compulsory for all students. SDE is the top role offered to the majority of students. The placements are pretty good here.

The college is good, and teaching is good. Placements are also good.

Placements: Around 65% of the students were placed from our course. The highest salary package of 32 LPA was offered by Rakuten (Japan), and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA. TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant and Wipro are some of the top recruiting companies for my course. Maybe around 30% of the students got internships in Jio, Tata, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Byju's, etc., from here. Data scientist, IT, Firewall, developer, frontend/backend developer, etc., roles are offered.

It is the best college to study, and worst college for sports. Attendance is the major issue here.

Placements: I am a 2nd shift student. If you took admission in PICT in this course and if you have taken admission in the second shift then you there will be 20-30% chance to get placed. The highest salary package offered is 36 LPA for IT and CS courses. If you are in IT or CS, then you will get an average salary package that offered ranges between 5-5.5 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course ranges between 3-3.5 LPA.

Ample opportunities are provided for those who really want to succeed.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Most of the students get placed on the campus. Software development and analysis seem to be the most common roles offered. There is a placement cell which ensures employability skills in students. Most of the students who qualify for placements do end up getting placed.

Best placements for CSE and IT departments. It has best teaching staff, infrastructure not too good.

Placements: The placements in the college are best in Pune. The highest package is given to PICT students and the first priority for PICT students. Almost 75 percent of the students got selected in the campus. Morgan Stanley, HP, Microsoft, Rakuten, EQ technologies, Avaya, Calsoft and many others visit PICT College.

It is the best college of Pune University.

Placements: A lot of companies visit the campus for the placements, and the number is increasing every year. About 80% students of my senior batch got selected. The highest paying company was Rakuten. The other big companies in the drive are Morgan Stanley, Avaya, Nvidia etc. So the highest package offered was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA.

Satisfied with the academics and placements, but it has very poor infrastructure.

Placements: The placements for the year 2016-2017 was very good, and it has increased exponentially from the last 3 years. The training and placements officer is very dynamic and the placements of this year are also very good. The students are benefited a lot if they are taking admission here from placements point of view.

It is the top college of engineering in computer science.

Placements: Very good placement offers are provided by our college. Our college focuses on improving soft skills, teamwork and many more, which are required for a company to get placed. About 92% of the students get placed on average in companies like Tata, Wipro, TCS and many more. These are the top recruiters for our course. Our college offers internships from the 2nd year only, which is very good.

Decent college, overall good faculty, poor infrastructure and labs.

Placements: Placements for the Electronics and Telecommunication department is in not a very good state. There is only one core company that visits for placements and also pay very less, as compared to IT companies. As a result, an EnTC graduate spends 3 years in the EnTC department only to get a job that does not require any EnTC skill or knowledge. Moreover, companies prefer recruiting Computer Science and IT students because they are studying relevant subjects in their course. Hence, for an EnTC student ...
