The placements for finance students are not that good as very few companies visit to recruit them.

Anonymous review about RNSIT.
Placements: Around 60 percent of the students were placed this year with an average package of 6 LPA. The highest package was 56 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA, with the average around 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Infosys and Wipro. Around 10 percent of students got internships in their 7th semester from the whole college in companies like Infosys and Wipro. Top roles offered from ISE are software developer and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The facilities are quite good, as you will get good benches and chairs in the college, which are quite comfortable. Along with this, there is Wi-Fi in each class. In the lab, there are personal computers for each student, and there are 7-8 labs in the ISE department only. The library is quite big and is full of many books from all fields. The hostel is quite good with decent food, and rooms are 4-sharing only. Food is available 3 times a day, and tea is available in the evening. There is a food court in our college with very friendly prices. Sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and friendly, and they are well-experienced and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also up to the mark. Our course curriculum follows all the things that are followed by any big institution and is relevant to today's needs. Semester exams happen three times in a semester, every month, and the exams are moderate.
Other: I first did thorough research about my course and found out that this course is highly in demand as per today's needs. After completing this course, you can become a software developer or data analyst in different companies. Everything is better about this course, except they should try to teach more coding problems and real-life problems related to engineering. Till last year, a fest was happening in our college, but now no fest will happen as such. The campus crowd is around 8-9k, and the campus surroundings are good. You can participate in a lot of extracurricular activities like dance, music, skits, etc.

Impartial insight of RNSIT.
Placements: My class consists of 60 students, and my department, ISE, consists of around 260 students. The passing-out batch this year had a placement rate of 95%. The highest package this year was around 45 LPA, whereas the average package ranges between 4-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has outstanding infrastructure with dedicated blocks for all branches. Each block has a number of well-maintained labs, both digital and physical (like in Civil and Mechanical). The labs in my IT block are all very well maintained, with each of them having special functions. We have a high-tech lab, a lab specially for OOPs, and many other labs for development, AIML, and Gen AI. Each classroom has its own Wi-Fi and a smart projector. The mess is clean, and the hostel is 4-sharing, well-maintained, and frequently cleaned.
Faculty: The teachers are well-experienced and well-versed with the subjects. They are really knowledgeable and helpful. They are actually one of the best features of this institute. The course curriculum is also very up-to-date and follows modern trends. Elective courses are also offered each semester to explore different new domains of technology, like IoT, etc. The college conducts 3 internal exams known as CIE, which occur almost every month with a 20-25 day gap. The papers are moderate and in accordance with the VTU syllabus. To pass, one needs at least 18/50 marks.
Other: The college was suggested to me by my connections here as a good tier-2 college. As the college is tier-2, it has some flaws related to placement activities, but overall, it’s on top of all the colleges in this tier. The uniform is a major issue as it is mandatory to wear them on lab days and exams. There are a hefty number of events, both small and big, held almost every month, including hackathons, competitive coding, sports, annual fests like PANTHEON, annual sports fests like AZURE, and also the RAJYOTSAV.

The best institute of 2024!
Placements: The percentage of students placed at RNSIT is average, around 40%. The highest package is 5.6 LPA, while the lowest is about 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are not present, and the internships provided are fewer than the placements.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the RNSIT hostel are poor and expensive, making it unaffordable for many students, who prefer to stay in nearby PGs. The labs and library are good, and the classrooms are decent, but they lack modern facilities.
Faculty: Some faculty members are very good, while there are others who do not teach well. However, we cannot say that all faculty members are bad; many are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose a Bachelor of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence, which is currently one of the best courses in the industry. I would recommend choosing Artificial Intelligence in Computer Science rather than just Computer Science.

RNSIT is a decent college but very strict regarding our academics.
Placements: This college provides 100% of placements. But don't rely on this only, and work outside campus as in Bangalore might get better offer. The average salary package offered was about 6.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered till now is around 43 LPA. The lowest salary package offered will be around 3 LPA - 4 LPA on campus. If we study for some exams, the placements for our branch will also be good. We have students who get offers from companies like Kickdrum and Amazon. The highest salary package offered was 60 LPA. The average salary package offered was 40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 18 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel is very good. I was in PG but my friends who stayed in hostel never cried about that just the timing was there. Hostel gate used to get close after 9:00 PM which was bad as we didn't get to enjoy the night life of Bangalore which is super good and fun to hang out during the night.
Faculty: Exams are held in terms of 3 internals and 1 external, 3 internals with ease level of question which hold 50% of marks of total subject and rest 50 marks are from the external which is tough to score so try to score as much as we can in our internals and class test. Teachers are very good. They give us proper leave and won't force us to come college always if we have genuine reason.
Other: I will comment on my department only, for AIML the branch is super good.

College review of RNS institute of technology.
Placements: Placement is not good for the ECE branch compared to the CS branch. The faculty give first preference to CSE branch students and then ECE students. The highest package for CS students is 13-17 LPA, and the lowest is 2-4 LPA. Only 50-60% of students get placed.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is not good; the rooms are small. The food is entirely Bangalore food, which will not suit students from South Karnataka. They do not prepare any special food for students from outside Karnataka. The food is the same for everyone. The rooms are not very big.
Faculty: The college strictly follows VTU rules because our college is a VTU college. They follow the VTU schedule. The exams and internals are conducted as per the VTU guidelines. The main exam paper comes from VTU only; they do not prepare the exam paper.
Other: I got this course through CET, and the college is good, but the placement is not that good. The lectures are good.

RNSIT complete and honest review.
Placements: Over 60% of the students are placed from the 7th sem, which is quite a good placement percentage in the year 2024. The highest package offered was 26.65 LPA, and the average is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters like Infosys, Amazon, TCS still haven't visited this year due to recession, but they came last year. Internships are offered to students based on the technical test given by the companies. Roles like associate software engineer and tester are offered.
Infrastructure: A large digital library was recently made this year, benefiting many students, and it got a good Wi-Fi connection. Many playgrounds like a football ground, basketball ground are available. When it comes to the hostel, it is not up to the mark. They charge a high amount of fees, around ₹110000, but the food is the worst. So please don't join the hostel; join PGs which are available outside the college.
Faculty: Before 2022, the college staff and faculty members were very good and nice, but now the faculty is not as good; many of the newly appointed teachers joined the college with no teaching experience. But still, the notes provided are helpful for us. The staff are a little strict and don't allow students to take internal exams if they have a low attendance percentage.
Other: The course which I have chosen is ISE, which is quite good. But still, the CSE staff and management are better. The ISE department's teaching and experience should be improved. Overall, campus life is good; fests like utopia, parichay, interdepartmental sports competitions are conducted.
