Raghu Institute of Technology Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Visakhapatnam

Placements: The placements were the biggest failure for our batch. Hardly 7 to 10 companies came forward for recruitment, and all those were BPO fields only. We faced lots of problems regarding the recruitment process. Mainly the training and placement officers were of no use. They failed in bringing good companies to the college. They failed in creating a positive impact on the recruiting teams.

Placements: In 2013, we did not have many placements, but some companies visited our college. No one got placed, the placements were less in number. But, after 2014 batch, they started providing placements from many companies. 451 students got placed in the academic year 2017.

Placements: Most of the companies which visit the college for placements are IT based. Around 10-15 service based companies came to our college, and ten core companies related to mechanical and EEE also visited our campus. Around 403 members were placed in our college. The highest salary package is 7 LPA, and lowest is around 1.5 LPA and, the average salary is about 2.4 LPA.

Placements: They are some placements we got & 25% of percentage we got. The highest salary is 80k and the lowest salary is 15k. Some companies like Genpact, Amazon, Infosys. They student doesn't got any internship. In our college there was placement cell. The stipend is not given to the students.

Placements: Placements are being conducted now, but not earlier. Many of the seniors have settled with a high package and in highly-rated companies. Most of the top-rated companies like Infosys are not visiting the campus much, but small companies like Amazon, Flipkart, etc., visit the campus for recruitment.

Placements: Every student in the college has at least one placement option and it depends on them whether to go for it or not.This is possible for only those who attend CRT classes. The worst criteria are for those who are not considering the B.Tech scoring for placements.

Placements: The placement scenario has pretty much improved for our batch comparative to the previous batches. In fact, there is a drastic surge in the placement numbers from 2015. About 80% of the batch has been placed, mostly into IT sector and others into ITES, like manufacturing and consulting, to name a few. Average package offered landed UPAT around 2.5 LPA. Placements: The placements are good in my college, and they happen frequently. The way our seniors got selected in many companies, everything is fine. The placement officer is good, and have a keen interest towards placing students in many campus drive too.

Placements: The placements were not good for our batch, but for our seniors', the placements were good and for batches who joined after 2016 got placed in various companies and many companies visited our college to hire the aspirants. Many companies like Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, HCL, Ramcor group, etc., have visited our college to conduct the interviews for both on and off campus drives.

Placements: The placements in the civil department at our college are too low. Hardly 1-2 companies come for the placements, but those are not core companies. Even our seniors haven't got any core companies. So better choose another branch in Raghu Institute of Technology for better placements and jobs. The salary offered by the companies are mostly Rs. 15,000 per month-Rs. 18,000 per month. Our college has a well-equipped placement cell, and it is useful.

Placements: So far all the product's companies that have come are good, and not many services companies have come. Our core related companies are very few and non-core related companies came. So we are not satisfied, and the training will be provided for a short period whereas money will be taken for the full-time period.

Placements: There are a lot of placements in our college. I got placed in TVS groups company, and the company is named as Axels India Ltd in Chennai, and my other friends are placed in different companies. The student who completed their course in this college is placed at least to one of the company.

Placements: Infosys, Tech Mahendra, Wipro, and Indian Navy have given many opportunities for the students in the college. Nearly 200+ placements are given by them every year. They also take special care for preparing us for campus placements, for the better performance. Good number of placements arrived in our college.

Placements: In this college, the students got placed, but low initial salaries are offered. The software and core companies are also available, and this college provides separate campuses requirement training, but this couldn't teach more. We are studying by yourself, and the doubt problems are solved by asking the faculty.

Placements: Campus recruitment are going on perfectly but the package the highest is 15000, the lowest is 8000 and avg is 10000 and talking about the percent of placements almost 80-90%, a ll core companies which are in Chennai. Max Junior engineer trainee is the role. 60-70% are completed their internship. No stipend. Placement cell is available, it is useful for any information related to placements.

Placements: Placement is very good in all departments except for civil department because of less number of vacancies. Remaining branches get good placements in the companies visited. Every year, more than 15 companies had been recruiting the students. The college provides internship to each department separately. The lowest package offered was 1.2 LPA. Placements: Actually, placements were quite good last year. Out of 700 eligible students from Raghu nearly 440 were selected for some sort of jobs. This was something that put our college at a position. But this year so far placements hasn't been like a cakewalk like previous academic. Not much of students got selected. Usually like in any other college, services companies offer more jobs than product based companies here in Raghu also.

Placements: College has good placements in comparison with many other colleges in Visakhapatnam. It offers good placement training sessions for better chance of being placed in companies. Many product based and service based companies were brought and we were given chance to participate in them.

Placements: In my batch, there is a lot of healthy competition between ourselves, and we just compete against each other. I don't know much about my seniors, but they had the same competition when we enquired them. The placements are good, and we can get a good chance if we work hard little.

Placements: Around 100 students got placed in our b0atch of 2015 in various organisations like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Virtusa, Mind tree, NTT data, Hyundai and some civil and mechanical related industries. The placement training will be provided for all the student to do better in the hiring process.
