Placements: Placements are more for computer branch, then mechanical comes. TCS takes more placements. Many other companies are also interested. Recently college has got accreditation by TCS. Around 370 students were placed in the academic year 2016. Average package is 3.8 LPA. The maximum package is 21 LPA till now.
Placements: The placements are really good. Nowadays, we had 121 offers from TCS, this year, for 2018 batch, for IT and CS guys. It is one of the best colleges in case of placements. This is best among the top colleges of Pune University. In case of placements, this college provides you all the opportunities, just you have to grab it with little hard work by yourself.
Placements: Very good placement opportunities. First company approaching college is TATA Consultancy Services (TCS). As NAAC committee visited the campus, RSCOE was blessed with 3.26 points with 'A' grade. Placement are very good in 2017 and it will increase in 2021.
Placements: Some companies are visiting our college for placement purpose. But mostly, the computer science and information technology students have more probability to be placed than us, the mechanical engineers. Mostly the jobs offered even for the mechanical students are other than the related ones to the mechanical field. TCS is one of the major recruiters for RSCOE. And also, some other companies visit the college for recruitment.
Placements: The placements happen, but only for the top distinction students. They too don't get the jobs related to their core branch most of the times. TCS is the mass recruiting company and also the favourite company for most of the students around the campus. The mechanical department has a bad placement record compared to IT and computer science. The lowest salary offered to the students was around 1.5 LPA and the highest was around 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. Very few students got internships. Since I haven't ...
Placements: Overall, the placements are average. It depends on your branch, and how great you are in your academics. The placements cell is great, and it helps you in various ways and prepares you for your personal interview. Mock sessions are done for both group discussion and personal interview conducted by experts.
Placements: As per placement concerns, RSCOE has a massive record of placements. About 50+ mass recruiter come here for placement every year. As my course is in E&TC, I'll tell you about E&TC placements. Last year about 120+ students got placed from E&TC, computer science & IT. I don't know the exact figure. The students from mechanical engineering are also placed in much quantity.
Placements: The placement for mechanical engineering was not good because core companies are not coming for campus recruitment and all the mechanical students have to join TCS and other IT companies. But the package for mechanical students are more in IT companies.
Placements: Companies such as TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, L&T Infotech, Synechron, etc. pay a visit to the college and offer decent packages to the students ranging from 3 lakhs to 6 lakhs per annum approximately. Every year, 60% to 70% students get placed among which the major recruiter is TCS. The number of students placed from IT, computer, and EN&TC branch is very high as compared to the students from the mechanical and civil branch. Every year, one or two students manage to get a package of up to 1...
Placements: The students in all branches have good scope for the placements except for the civil branch. Many big companies like TCS and Tech Mahindra have come to the college. Other than these companies, there are so many other companies those offer good packages to ECE, CSE and IT students. The packages that these companies offered ranges between 2 LPA to 18 LPA. The training and the placement officers are helpful to the students.
Placements: Placements were 65 percent only. Major recruiters were TCS and Tech Mahindra. Some of the companies which recruited some students were Cybage and Fiserv. The highest package was 3.25 LPA by TCS and the lowest was around 1.25 (BPO-Amazon). Roles offered were like assistant systems engineer, etc. Internship was not compulsory in the college.
Placements: The placement rate in the college was almost 100 percent. The average salary was 3.16 lpa. Few companies which visited the campus were L&T, TCS, Bosch, Tech Mahindra, etc. Assistant system engineer trainee role was offered. No compulsory internship in the college. If any student wants to do an internship, they have to find it on their own.
Placements: Placements are quite good. In 2014, in total 50-60% placements were done, but placements are increasing day by day. The companies that visited are TCS, Zensar, Six Capital, Bosch, etc. Placements of IT and computer are up to the mark but that of mechanical, EXTC and civil are okay.
Placements: The placement for my batch was not as good as my previous batch. A student (with first class) can guarantee his placement in only two companies (TCS and L&T). After that, one/two MNCs will visit as per the market and college grade or else he has to find his own way. The highest salary offered is 3.18 lacs.
Placements: The college has good placements records. Companies like TCS, Infosys, L&T, Tech Mahindra, etc. It has got a B grade from TCS. It has a 5-year accreditation from NBA. Fewer number of mechanical core companies. Average package is around 3-5 LPA. Max package given is 18 lakhs.
Placements: Very few companies visit the college for the specified discipline. Placements of the course were very few. Amongst the few, the average salary offered was less than Rs. 2 lacs. The roles offered were mostly of junior site engineer. Internships were taken up on personal levels.
Placements: It has average placement for the mechanical engineering students and the average salary is 3.4 lacs and the highest salary is 4.5lacs. TCS is the mega recruiter and graded 'B' for the college. TCS hired 100 students last year. For the CS and IT students, 80% have chances of selection and their strength is also less than the mechanical students. List of major recruiters 1) TCS 2) Tech Mahindra 3) Zensar 4) Majesco 5) Capgemini.
This college provides excellent facilities for outcome based education. The lab facilities also are very good. I have lived in the hostel and the environment of the hostel is healthy as well as encouraging. I was able to publish various research papers in standard publications like IEEE Explorer because of the good lab facilities.
My college deserved to be in the top list if you consider it academically. But if you want that, make sure you leave every fun behind. Because you won't be getting any holidays. If you bunk, your parents may end up getting a call from the department regarding your absence. So, you will eventually end up hating and cursing the college unless you are a nerd. And mind you, the fees is too damn high.
Rajarshi Shahu College Of Engineering Is one of the best college in Pune, which offers programs right from KG to PG. Apart from Engineering, college offers different programs like MCA,MBA, Pharmacy etc. I did my Engineering from this college. I don’t know it is good or bad but you don’t feel like you are in college, it is like a school. The entire process right from teaching to examination is very well organized. For last couple of years college has shown good placement records particularly in I...
