RGM College Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Kurnool

Placements: Placements were not much. Only 25% of students were placed that too in startups of my batch. Only computer science and engineering students get more placements than other branches. Only startups visited the campus and no good companies were there. The highest salary offered was 3 LPA.

Placements: Placements are nice in this college and it will be about more than 60%. The companies are not reputed so there will be a package of 10000 to 30000 per month. Companies which came to select the people are Varun Motors from Hyderabad and small, emerging companies which are not the most reputed to us. The placement cell will publish that they will get the most reputed companies.

Placements: In RGM college, placements are not there. But every year, they are collecting thousands of payments from every student for the purpose of placements. Mostly, jobs like customer service or salesman etc are offered in the company placements. The stipend offered was up to 2.6 lakh per annum.

Placements: There have been no placements in any company since I joined this college. Our TPO is trying to get some companies but it is unable to do so. Alumini programs are not conducted in our college. CRT classes are held by our branch for only two weeks. I think two weeks of CRT classes are not sufficient. No MNCs visited our college. While we were in the 3rd year, we did an internship at BHEL and our college permitted us to do so. We also pay a placement fee(Rs. 5000) yearly. ...

Placements: There are no placements for any batch. It was better when our super seniors got placed in good companies, before our college got autonomous. Our placement officers are concentrating only on consultancy companies. Up to now I can't understand what they are going to do? So I suggest you complete the master's degree in a better college (not RGMCET) for your future. According to our placements, I do not suggest this college for placements.

Placements: Companies that we have got up to now are sales companies only. Such companies are worthless. This college is only for ECE, englishCSE and IT branches. The college management is trying to make this college a deemed college. The college is worthless. No internships from our college. In mechanical engineering, there are no good staff members except for some of them. Some of the teachers do not eveEnglish.

Placements: There are no placements in mechanical engineering. Since I joined this college, I have never seen anyone getting placed in any core company. Our TPO is not supportive to us; they just always try to escape from students. But here CRT programmes are conducted that too in the final year for two weeks. I think this is not sufficient for preparation. It is just for namesake only. I feel that our college is not good for those who want a good career in core department. But good for cse and ece students...

Placements: They didn't offer any good placements. They offer some BPO jobs only. They invite some fake companies like PC technologies and they collect a placement and training fee of 5000 per year. This is pathetic and a waste for the students. I give a rating of 1/5 for placements.

Placements: The placements are not very good as compared to other colleges like Pulla Reddy Engineering College. Only these two colleges i.e. RGM and Pulla Reddy are the leading colleges in Kurnool district. But still, RGM college is trying to bring good companies to the college, especially regarding the civil engineering department.

It was in 2009 when I joined the college. It is some 10 kms away from local town Nandyal, a well-known place for bank coaching Institute. It is one of the famous Engineering colleges in Kurnool district. Teaching in the college is not at its best but not bad. Infrastructure is good like lab facilities, library books. But they have to increase the systems in the library which are very less and coming to placements may be you will not be satisfied with management and placement cell. R.G.M.C.E.T is well reputed in the regions of Anantapuram, Kurnool and Kadapa parts of Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the reasons to choose this college for my UG. The faculties at college are very friendly and supportive. They guide and nurture your though process. The infrastructure and equipments available in the labs are well maintained, which helps students to understand the practicality of the subjects they are theoretically studying. Placements: The placements for the civil branch are not good but just for formality they call 3 to 4 companies, and that pay fewer salary packages around 10 k to 15 k maximum per month. We should not expect much placements in civil engineering in our college. The college is best for the infrastructure and facilities.

When I got seat in this college I searched about this college in several websites. I was astonished that it ranks 31st place. Then I expected lot about this college. But when I joined there, my expectations ruined. It has smallest auditoriums in our state. Even my school has big play ground than our colleges. College has become autonomous now and is equipped with all the lab infrastructure. No worries about faculty members, a student will have good experience. College is having TEQIP backup for the funds and is rated as one of the top colleges in Rayalseema and also among the private colleges in AP.
