Good coaching experience, but the worst hostel experience.

Placements: There are nearly 100% of the students placed yet, but most of the students are placed for the sake of showing the placed student percentage. The highest package is INR 6 lacs per annum, and the lowest package is INR 1.8 lacs per annum. TCS, CTS, HCL, Byjus, and Econ Systems are the top recruiting companies. Data analysts and circuit designers are the top job roles offered.

I am not satisfied with this college because of the lack of programs.

Placements: There are around 40% of students in computer science and engineering. CSE course helps to find work in IT-related companies around the world. The college tuition fee is around Rs.80,000 per annum. Top recruiting companies include IBM, Byju's, and other top companies .

Good faculty but dissatisfied with placement.

Placements: The placement in our college is average because they only provide third-tier companies and BPO companies. They don't organize any on-campus drives; instead, they send students to off-campus drives. I totally dislike the placement, and now I am jobless and intend to study MBA in a different college.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Above 60% of students had placements in the computer science department. Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS), Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) off-campus, Dev Care solutions, and some of the banks were the top recruiting companies. The top recruitment company is CTS only. The internship was based on our interests. No arrears is a must.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Placement training provided in the college is good. They invite special trainers from outside and provide training separately. The highest salary package offered is11 LPA. For my batch, nearly 50 companies visited the college for placements. If you attend all the drives, then you get experience.

The college has good placements, highly qualified and helpful faculty members.

Placements: According to me, the principal should be appreciated for working hard to bring in companies to provide placements for students. The placements have been improved a lot compared to the previous years. The highest package offered was 7 LPA by Byju's and 5 LPA by Societe General. Many BPO companies also visit the campus. Most of the companies are from Chennai, Coimbatore and Madras. The placements for mechanical students are low.

Dissatisfied because of the department rules. They treated us like school children.

Placements: Most of the companies that came for placements were startups, BPOs, etc. There were no core companies for placements. Some of the software companies that came were good. I don't think anybody from our college got internships. There is a placement cell in the college, and it was not that efficient.

Satisfied, worthy with the colleges among other colleges in Puducherry.

Placements: They will provide placement to all, but we can't expect high pay companies, they place at some moderate companies, but this year placement cell works great to invite new companies, they are giving support to place students in off-campus interviews too.

The college used to be great but the quality of the education has dropped.

Placements: The placements for our batch drastically reduced from the placements for our senior's batch. The highest salary offered was Rs. 3 lakhs. Very few MNCs visited the college for the campus placements. Only a few students got good placements, and you have to be on your own for the placements.

My opinion about my college

Placements: The placement is only given for CSE, IT and ECE departments in the percentage range of above 60%, but in the television advertisement, they will show always 100% placements on their campus which is fully fake. In fact, I am from the mechanical department and they didn't get any core company for my department as well as EEE. Apart from that, college surroundings and infrastructure are well and good.

I am enjoying my life in the college with no strict rules. One can feel a real college atmosphere.

Placements: The college has a nice placement, and recently we have got a NAAC accreditation with an A grade hoping that more companies will come in the near future. The internships were arranged periodically. Particularly, the CSE department is well functioned by conducting more workshops and symposium each year.
