Review of Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering & Research.

Placements: The college provides very poor placements. Most of the students in our college are getting placed in BPO's. Hardly any technical companies are visiting for campus drive. RGCER has the worst placement scene in Nagpur. Students of 2018 passed out did not get a job until now, and our college boosts their image by fake advertising as they place the highest number of students.

I'm utterly disappointed in my college.

Placements: Placements in my college are average. Hardly any students got placed. My college conducts seminars for aptitude, quants and language. The faculty that conducts the seminars are professionals with a good background of the said subjects. My college tends to fool people by false advertisement, they said that the highest package provided to a student was more than 10 lacs per annum but the reality the highest package that a student got was 3.5 LPA.

Satisfaction of learning in a Institution having all the right tools for Education.

Placements: The placements during our batch of 2014 was good as compared to the earlier batches. The percentage of the people getting places was on a higher side. The highest salary offered was around 3.8 Lacs per annum. The lowest went around 2 Lacs per annum. There were several companies that visited the campus which included Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Syntel Pvt. Ltd. and others. The roles offered were mainly concentrated towards Software Engineer. The college does't provide any support for internships. Int...

Mostly in electrical department, the facilities and faculty are good. Good placements are there.

Placements: The placements are excellent in my college as many companies come here. The T&P officer is very supportive. The placement training is provided by the college to improve our skills and communication. No fee is collected for that training because the college pays to that academy.

Rajiv Gandhi college is a good college in overall for students who seek to have a great future ahead

Placements: The placements drive are good enough for the students. Everyone gets a fair chance to attend the drive and grab the opportunity equally. Almost more than 100+ students are placed during the placement drives. The highest salary offered was 3.5-4 Lacs per year, but as in my senior batch the highest salary offered was 7lakh per year by the Byjuu2019s. There are many companies like amazon, motif, epic research, market magnify in BPOu2019s and in technical companies like congnizant, tcs, tech m, cyba...

It includes companies like Wipro, HCL, Epic Research, etc. The college have TPO (Training and placement officer) who have detailed knowledge of campusing. He suggests students and gives opportunity to student for placement drives.

I had a good experience in RGCER.

Placements: The placements offered in our college are good. If you are an average student, then it is difficult for you to get placed. You get a good opportunity to get placed in MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Global Logic, etc. The majority of companies are of BPO profiles. The college has a placement cell which is pretty good and very supportive.

The college is very strict regarding the discipline.

Placements: The college was started in 2008 and has the highest placement record in RTMNU. Top companies visited our college. TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. visited our college offering an average salary of 2.5 LPA. The college has international placement in Oman from the electrical department. The college has the youngest placement officer.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and no practical knowledge. Poor placements in 2015.

Placements: The college placement is seriously poor. Very few people were placed. Many students didn't even get a chance for placements. In a class of 60 students, only below ten students were placed. Maximum of those who were placed got a poor job profile. Even they invited a BPO for placements. The highest package offered was 3.5 LPA. And only one company offered this package. The lowest package as of now I remember was 1.5 LPA. Overall, the campus placements are very poor.

The ground reporting of RGCER alias (NYSS).

Placements: The placements in our college for the batch of 2017 were not good. Most of the companies profile was for either BPO or KPO. The maximum number of students got placed where any graduate was allowed. Only 5% of the students got placed in good blue Chip companies. There were very limited opportunities.

The overall experience is not good. You would only regret getting in this college.

Placements: The placements are good on paper, but actually, due to the outdated syllabus by RTMNU, students don't have ample amount of programming knowledge. Hence, the maximum students get placed here in BPO. Also, pure domain related companies only come for a software related domain, but not for other core branches.

The college is quite good because of good faculty, hygiene, decent placement and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements of the college are quite average. They are not too high. The average placement offered was 2.1 Lacs per annum. The highest package was of 4.1 lacs. 8-9 blue chip companies come every year. Big companies like TCS, HCl and Amazon also came for the recruitment.

The college is quite good.

Placements: The placements are quite good. The companies are coming but only IT companies and marketing companies. Only 1 or 2 core companies had arrived till now. Certain software companies are also demanding money before the students join it. We the core students demand the core companies.

The rising star- Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Research

Placements: Placements for information technology students were really great. We had companies like TCS, Amazon (development center), Zensar, Xoriant, Motif and other big companies which took many of our students, and offered a package starting from 3 LPA to 7 LPA. Only recently, one of my mates, got placed in Byju's with an offer of 9 LPA.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: In the computer technology department, there are around 70 to 80% placements. There are good companies coming to the campus. You can also go for off-campus placements with your professors' guidance. Companies from all sectors visit the campus with lucrative offers. Finally, it's your credibility that will earn you a placement.

Overall, the quality and performance of my college are average.

Placements: I completed my BE in 2015. I got only 2 campus offers and those were with a very low salary. Therefore, it was like I got no placement. All the students have to go to YCC for campus placements. In 2015, in my class of 70 students, only 13 got placed. Only small companies came for placement.

If you are looking for a college that will build you up, this is it.

Placements: We had placements in MNCs like TCS, Tech-M, Capgemini. The eligibility criterion is the percentage throughout the degree. 2016 - 144 students placed. 2017 - 175+ students got placed. I will rate it 7 out of 10.
