The good and bad side of rgipt ( an institute of national importance).

Placements: In 2019, Placement of RGIPT was good, especially in petroleum engineering. I myself got placed in one of the best PSU (ONGC) of India. Total of 27 out of 30 eligible students got placement in different companies. 7 students (one with GATE get selected in ONGC with the highest package of 19.50 LPA. And some other companies like Essar Oil, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys etc. Average batch package would be around 9 LPA.

RGIPT conducts many events and fests.

Placements: The placement rate of our college is not constant, but it is more than 60%. All leading PSUs like ONGC, IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, etc., visit our college to recruit students. Private companies like Reliance Ltd, Infosys, Wipro, ICICI, etc., visit our college to recruit students. In the 4th year of B.Tech, almost 6 students got placed in ONGC with a salary package of 20 LPA. In that, 3 students belong to the general category, 2 students belong to OBC, and one student is from SC/ST category. Only two stud...

Our college is great with a good academic schedule and decent placements, but our faculty are bad.

Placements: Our MBA batch of 2016-2018 was a small one with just 16 students. Every one of us opted for major companies in the marketing domain. Five students were offered jobs in PSUs, i.e., one student got placed in BPCL, and the rest of the four students were placed in IOCl. Around 5 students got placed in Adani Gas Limited and IOAGPL, and three students got placed at RIL. Around two students got placement offers from both Adani and RIL. The salary package offered by PSUs is above 17 LPA. The salary pack...

A prime institute for the aspiring petroleum engineers.

Placements: The placement scenario at RGIPT is as good as prime IITs. In 2017, petroleum batch placement percentage was over 70%. This year's chemical batch has 14 students placed in oil PSU's out of 21 eligible for placements. Two companies are still about to come this year. Placement opportunities will grow in coming years as oil PSU's start exploring more basins in India.

About RGIPT-Life and lectures.

Placements: 40% placements and 20% in PSUs which tells us that there is good placements but internships in private companies is missing, college has less no. Of students and is situated in a regional place so, many companies (private) don't know about it but soon it will be known.

Placements: The placements were good. A lot of petroleum companies like Reliance, ONGC visit the campus and take a bunch of students everytime. The salary were mostly 9-18 lacks range. This college attracts a lot of PSU companies. This college is of national importance and studying here is a royal feeling.

I am satisfied with my college as we know everyone has good and bad in them but overall it is good.

Placements: Placement at rgipt is improving year by year, when I first joined college placement was good I. e almost 50% batch was placed and many of them were in maharatna psu's like oil, iocl, ongc, bpcl, etc. So it is a matter of pride, getting a job in maharatna psu's of CTC 17 lacs approximately. After that year next two years placement scenario improved by 5% per year and this year hpcl too joined the party of CTC worth 17 lacs.

All leading PSU take direct interview of college students, also private companies like Reliance Ltd. And Infosys recruit students from our college.
