    A:
    {Source: B.Arch students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:

    * The course is good for those interested in designing, and the prime requirement is a strong foundation in design.
    * Teachers are highly qualified and helpful, providing good exposure through case studies and interactive sessions.
    * The college has a diverse syllabus, and the teaching mechanism is effective.
    * The college has a placement cell that works continuously to bring in different firms for campus interviews.
    * The college offers internships, and almost 100% of students get internships every year.
    * The college has a good reputation, and many companies like Infosys, TCS, and Tata come for campus recruitment.

    Cons:

    * The placement rate for B.Arch students is low, with around 10% of students getting placed.
    * There is no dedicated department for architecture at present, but it is expected to open soon.
    * The infrastructure is average, with some areas needing renovation.
    * Some semesters can get hectic due to certain reasons, and the pass percentage is relatively low (around 40%).

    In conclusion:

You'll have a good experience in the campus.
Placements: 10% is the placement rate, maybe of the whole college. There is no placement for B.Arch, at present, B.Tech courses have placements with great packages. Our overturning is through the portfolio that we make during our academic years. We get to improve our skills here.
Infrastructure: We lack department for architecture at present, but the work is in progress and is said to be opened soon. Wi-Fi library labs are really nice. All the branches have a separate department, spread across the 98 Acre land but architecture block is yet under construction.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. We are free to meet them for any reason. The course curriculum is good. But some semesters get hectic due to some reasons. We get case studies site visits and market studies etc. to get a clear idea about today's market 40 % is the pass percentage.
Other: Course is good for the one who is interested in designing, it's a prime requirement.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kerala.
Placements: There are no placements in this course. Around 100% of students get internships every year in various companies, and internships are compulsory for all students. The salary package is also low for interns and fresher architects. Top roles offered are junior architects, senior architects, draftspersons, teachers, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average in our college. A new department is under construction in this course. The hostel facilities are good. The food quality is average. Sports and games are better. Playground is also available, and it has many scopes for students' improvement.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They provide good exposure through the case and interactive studies. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The best things about this course are that we can travel a lot, meet different people, and get many exposures. Everything is good in this course. Events and competitions are conducted by NASA and SSA. Students with interests can find a space to grow in this college.

The very calm and feel-good atmosphere is provided for students for the best results.
Placements: Our college is the best in placements in Kerala and has the best faculty members in Kerala. A huge range of opportunities for our future are provided by faculty members and seniors.
Infrastructure: Everything provided here is above average. But most of the other colleges provide very below average facilities, so this college is the best to choose in Kerala. It is a friendly college and has good neighbouring colleges. There is a feel-good atmosphere.
Faculty: Teachers here are surely helpful because they teach the best. The relationship between students and teachers is the best I have ever experienced. Our college has a diverse syllabus. Good and steady teaching mechanism is used, which is most effective.

I am satisfied with faculty members, environment and facilities.
Placements: Almost 75% of the students were placed, and 100% of the students got an internship in most different firms. The college gives chances of jobs in this field and has got opportunities in top recruiting companies. Many students have got a good opportunity and found a successful life in future from entering into different companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college are good. Good quality food is available in the hostel mess and college canteen. Workout and gym are also available for students, and grounds are available for sports. Sports week in intercollege tournaments are conducted. Hostels also conduct different sports and cultural week.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are the best with good teaching quality. The course is relevant. Different types of activities and curriculum based on our course is conducted during the academic year. Facilities provided are satisfied and useful for students. Faculty members follow a proper schedule.
Other: I have chosen this course because I will get the license to start our own firm and practice. The college should provide more case studies which would be suitable for our course.

It is one of the best colleges in Kerala And considering architecture, it ranks in top 5.
Placements: We have a very wide recruiting history. There are placements from most of the top notch companies in Kerala and India. It is a privilege to finish my course and start my career from Rajiv gandhi Institute of technology, kottayam. I shall suggest my college to anyone who come across my path searching for a good Institute with a good academic future.
Infrastructure: The college provides the most certified faculty and has a well organized academic infrastructure. The curriculum handles both academics and extracurricular activities on a stable balance strongly supported by each of the faculty members. The hostel and food quality is homely and a student would never be tired of it.
Faculty: The course curriculum is brilliantly organized and handled perfectly in our college. The faculty and staff members support any kind of necessity a student can have. The people supposed to be to responsible for the same are doing a brilliant job as far as I have observed.
Other: Architecture in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of technology, Kottayam is a success already. Our college being one of the only four government college that teaches architecture is doing the best job compared to the other three for the same. We have been successfully developing our skills and techniques for a the brightest future any student can imagine and that time is not afar.

Best experiences to be learned, good facilities and faculties, good placements, variety of programme
Placements: Our senior batch has a lot of people placed in some firms. About 33% of students GOT placed last year. The salary offered by companies is from 3 Lacs to 15 Lacs according to the job/companies. Many companies including Infosys, TCS, Dexlock, Byju's, Litmus7, TATA, Ashok Leyland, have come last year for campus interview. According to the syllabus, every student is required to do an internship since it is mandatory for a certificate. Students of Architecture department do an internship of 6 months according to the new syllabus. Only a few companies provide stipend during internships. There is a placement cell in the college which works continuously for bringing different firms to the college for campus interview. They also give placement training for the students. Its only because of the efficient working of the placement cell still a lot of companies come for campus recruitment.
Infrastructure: Our college provides all the facilities for a government college, including Labs, Library, college bus for travelling etc. College also conducts a lot of sports programmes which include football, cricket, volleyball, etc. The college has the best tools and instruments in the lab. We have an average quality classroom in some departments while the CS department is the latest department and is the modern block. Food available in the college is comparatively better compared to the food available in the locality. Hostel rooms are available for girls and boys separately. Means hostel has a capacity of maximum 110 with only one block. Ladies hostel has 3 blocks one with a capacity of 200 one with 110 and another one about 50. Every hostel has an average and good quality rooms. Architecture department is still under the construction process, thus architecture students are currently using the facilities of other departments. Architecture department will be completed within 1or 2 year. A new means hostel is also under construction and will be finished within 6 months.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified and knowledgeable. For every department, there is a HOD, professors, assistant professors and guest lecturers. They all have gone through various selection process thus we are sure that they are qualified. Most of the teachers are well experienced in teaching. They do lectures, digital presentations, workshops, case studies as a teaching method. 1:13 is the approximate faculty to students ratio. For every department, there are labs and industry visit as a part of the syllabus. An industrial visit can be done anytime in a year. , .
Other: RIT is continuously kept entertaining with lots of events. RITU (RIT Utsav) is the biggest fest in RIT. A year begins with a grand programme of freshers day, continued with a football tournament, Onam celebrations, Kismat, KELI or RITU and lots of other programmes including sports. Our campus is wide spread in 90 acres with 1500 students. Even though there is some places were students gather. The campus is surrounded by rubber trees which gives a nice ambience in the college. There are lots of scholarships like Egrantz, Central sector, etc. Provided by Central and state government.
