B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2024
2.2

Disappointing College Experience: Adequate faculty and outdated curriculum.
Placements: The percentage rate in my course was dismally low, with only a fraction of students securing positions. The highest package offered was eager, the lowest was barely noteworthy, and the average package remained below industry standards. Only new startups and BDA profile company show interest in my course.
Infrastructure: The hostel is subpar, featuring comfortable living conditions but poor maintenance. The mess offers low quality and tasteless food, leaving residents dissatisfied. Sports and games options are limited. Medical facilities are minimal, failing to promote a healthy life.
Faculty: Teachers are often unhelpful, lacking qualification and knowledge, which negatively impacts the overall teaching quality. The course curriculum seemed outdated and irrelevant, falling short in preparing students for the industry. Always you get low marks in internals; it's totally dependent upon your relation with the teacher, not the knowledge.

Rajkiya Engineering College, Azamgarh Review.
Placements: The percentage is average for students to be placed in my course at this college. Top companies like WIPRO, CRTD, etc. hire students from here. Software engineer, software developer, blockchain developer, etc. roles are offered. Students got internships easily from my course from any online source or company.
Infrastructure: Every facility is available here like Wi-Fi, classrooms, digital boards, libraries, etc.
Messes are available. Medical facilities are also available. You can play volleyball, cricket, etc. here. Cricket is organised at a very high level in the Rajkiya Premier League.
Faculty: Yes, teachers in my branch are highly educated. Even the guest faculty members are knowledgeable. It is a government college, so semester exams are accomplished in this college (self-centred). The exam is examined with high security and monitored over cameras.
Other: Today, there is a high demand for IT jobs. You can learn about modern things in this course. Practise and coding are the best ways to improve yourself. Sports event named VIRAAJ, F Branchwise Fests, full scholarships—everything you will get here.

Absolutely terrible infrastructure and Locality.
Placements: Not more. One or two persons from the whole batch got the job in BDA roles that are not for IT students but we can do nothing. They offered them only 3.6 LPA only. One is CRTD, another is Dristi IAS for BDA roles. No student can get the internship from college. Before the lockdown, many companies came to the campus like Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so much good. There are only three hostels. Two years boys live in one, and others two years in another. One hostel is for girls with all years girls. Classrooms and labs are good enough. The library is good. Food quality is below average. Wi-Fi and water are the main problems in the college.
Faculty: Yes. Teachers and faculty members are helpful and qualified. All the faculty members have their own position. They are knowledgeable and good in their Respective Subjects. There are two Class tests in one semester and semester exam is conducted with highly security and tight Checking.

Somehow satisfied by this college.
Placements: Around 60 percent of students were in this course but in this core field but in IT Sector. The highest package offered in this course was 14lac per annum, the lowest was 3lac per annum and the average was 7lac per annum. Students got internship in companies like DRDO.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for this course / department is good. There is Wi-Fi connection, which is limited for each student, various labs are also there. Sufficient books are also available in the library. The quality of the facilities in hostel is good but in mess is the worst. There is no canteen.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable as they have qualified high level of examinations. Their teaching quality is quite satisfactory. The semesters are not so difficult. To pass out the exams we need to study one night before exam.

This is a very good college.
Placements: Students in any course are mainly placed in the IT sector. The highest salary package offered in this course was 13 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was 6 LPA. Google and Amazon are the top recruiting companies for this course.
Infrastructure: Our department provides various facilities, such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms with smart boards, and a library. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is fine. The food available in the mess is quite good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams at this college are not that difficult. A student would fail if he or she failed six subjects in a year.

I am satisfied with its faculty members, good infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: About 60% of students in this course are placed in the IT sector. The average salary package offered in this course is 5 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the highest is 14 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities for this department, such as unlimited Wi-Fi, laboratories, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is good. The quality of food in the mess is quite average.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. Semester exams at this college are not that difficult. Students can easily pass the exams if they study for one day before the examinations.
