My college is chilled out. People have a great life with a scope of enjoyment.

Placements: Overall, the placement is good. It's excellent for branches like computer science, information science, and circuit branches. For core branches, few people get placed in the core field while most of them get placed in IT companies. The average package for IT branches is 7-8 LPA. Many people get placed in a company like Morgan Stanley, Amazon, etc. and get paid around 20 LPA.

Review of M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology

Placements: It is really good. Almost every major company is coming here. Also, there are departments who is getting 100% placements. The cs department is getting the highest package and rest all the departments are getting an average package. All the roles are offered to students.

Good college with a really good infrastructure

Placements: The placements are very good for computer science and information science departments. Almost 60% of the students get placed. The average salary is almost 6 lakhs per annum and the highest salary is 28 lakhs per annum which was bagged by a computer science student. Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Cognizant are the companies that take almost 50 students at a time giving most of the students a chance. Very less people get internship offers.

MSRIT chemical engineering review

Placements: There are not many core companies for campus placements. Mass recruiters visit the campus in 7th semester and most of them will be placed. Syngene and Asian Paints are the core companies that visited. Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro are the mass recruiters visiting the campus. Honeywell, Bechemical and JSW had students register but they didn't visit the campus. There were no internships offered for chemical engineering students.

A very decent experience at M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology

Placements: I honestly didn't sit for campus recruitment. The placements from IT companies were of course happening but disappointingly, the core companies bailed out on us this year. Hardly, two or three companies to count were in the campus to offer us jobs with special conditions. The salaries varied from 2.5 LPA - 5.5 LPA.

Good infrastructure and not good placements

Placements: The placements are very good for branches like computer science and information technology with highest packages in Amazon ranging up to 28 lakhs last year for a computer science student. The lowest salary has ranged to 2.5 lakhs per annum even. Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture are the companies who pick up the maximum number of people of about 50 at a stretch. Business analyst and software developer jobs were provided. Very few people were offered an internship in the companies and only a f...

Overall, it's a good college. It depends on the students how they use it for a good future.

Placements: The placements are very good. Almost 95% of the students are placed in a good company. The average salary offered is around 4 lakhs pa. Many of them got 15 lakhs pa, 8 lakhs pa and other good salary packages. Many companies which come to our college are software companies, so they take the students as a software engineer. There are some core companies too. Some students from particular branches got an internship from the college, which was helpful.

Good institute for a competent student.

Placements: Placement opportunities are average. For IT students, the chances are more whereas the non-IT students must depend on luck. The majority are placed in mass recruiter companies but only a few join. There are only 15-20% chances for non-IT students to get placed here.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements every year, good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement is really good. Each and every student is placed either in a core or an IT company. About 90% students in each class in every department are being placed. The package is good. Expected amount is given by the placement cell. Mass recruitment is done by many of the companies. So no worry about placements in our college.

Go for it for infrastructure, amenities, happening crowd and modern facilities.

Placements: Don't expect any core companies to come for recruitment. You can get a job in non-core companies, which are open to all branches if you have average aptitude skills. But strictly no core jobs.

MSRIT is always the best college.

Placements: We have the best placements in the world, I can say. You will be surprised to know that last year, the highest package offered was Rs. 50 lakhs per annum for an IS student and before that, it was Rs. 24 lakhs per annum. A lot of companies visit us. Last time, 287 companies visited us making 1600 offers.

M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology is the top college.

Placements: The placement in core is not that good. Only 20% or less students got placed in core companies. The highest salary was offered by L&T at 5.5 lacs per annum. L&T selected a total of 7 students out of 150. Approximately 50% students got placed through mass recruiters and their average salary was 4 lacs per annum. Placements are not a tough task here if you don't want them in the core field. 20% students didn't take a job and opted for higher studies. The college doesn't help you to get any interns...

Good placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: If you are waiting for core companies, then the college wouldn't help you in finding the firm. However, the HOD helps you to get placed in a core company. Apart from core, the mass recruiters also recruit. Overall, I would say it has a good placement but only if you are skilled enough.

What to expect from MSRIT

Placements: Well, talking about the placements, they are pretty good. The college boasts of Rs. 5.5 lakhs per annum as the average package. Around 95% students got placed. Many people, particularly in CSE got two job offers. Google visited the campus but no one was placed. My department, telecommunications, got barred from sitting in companies like Google but yes, quite some good companies came for us. The lowest package was around Rs. 2.8 lakhs per annum and the highest this year was Rs. 28 lakhs per an...

I was satisfied with the placements and faculty. Also, the infrastructure was good.

Placements: The placements did go well. I have been placed well and am working in a good company. Around 60-70% were placed during our period. Highest salary was 5 LPA and the lowest was 3LPA. On an average, 4-4.5 LPA. Infosys, Dell, HP etc. visited our college. Mostly 60% got internships.

MSRIT MBA not recommended, waste. No placement, flatter the faculty for good marks.

Placements: Placements are very bad and the college makes fake promises of 100% placements. Out of 120 students, only 5-6 were placed. No top companies came for MBA placement except for 1-2. The average salary offered is 1.8-2 LPA, that too startups. 5-10 students got an internship and the maximum stipend paid was 5k and some were not paid at all. Overall, a bad experience.

MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is always the best.

Placements: Placements are fantastic and more than 250 multinational companies visit us every year. Around 1680 offers have been made to our students. Placement percentage is around 95%. So there is absolutely nothing to worry about with regard to placement in our college. The highest package offered was 50 lpa.

RIT provides you the open atmosphere to grow yourself.

Placements: Senior batch got 100% placements in different outstanding companies. The highest package is about 12 lpa and the lowest is about 3 lpa. The average package offered by the companies is about 4.5 lpa. Many chemical, biotechnical companies visited for placements which are core for our department. During our course itself, we had undergone internship in industries.

An amazing on-campus experience with a professional approach.

Placements: When it comes to the placement percentage of college, it is pretty high for all the branches of engineering. Even if you don't get placed in a core company, you're certainly going to get a job with one of the mass recruiters such as Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, etc. Situated in the IT hub of the nation, the college offers amazing job opportunities in the IT industry. The percentage of students placed from the circuit branches in the batch of 2017 was around 80% whereas the non-circuit branche...

Definitely a great place to turn your career around if you know what you want to do with your life.

Placements: Placement was 100% for our batch. The highest package offered was 17 PA and the average package offered from companies was close to 4 LPA. Mass recruiters like Cognizant, Infosys, Accenture, TCS, likesWipro and few good paying like Cisco, Oracle, Bailey, Bosch, etc. recruited the students. The college would write you a recommendation letter if you are willing to get an internship from outside companies.
