Absolutely dissatisfied because of facilities.
Placements: About 52 percent of the students were placed in my department. The highest package was 7.5 lacs, the average package was 5 lacs, and the lowest package was 2 lacs. The top recruiting companies were L&T Infotech, Infosys, and Wipro. 30 percent of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course are not so good. The washrooms are very dirty. The hostel rooms are also very small. Classrooms and labs are not comfortable. The food available in the mess and canteen is unhygienic. Very few sports facilities are there.
Faculty: The teachers are not so qualified and experienced. They are not helpful and the students have to deal with their own problems. The teaching quality is average. Our course is not curriculum-relevant because not much happens apart from studies and lectures.

Ramgarh Engineering College in Jharkhand for BTech ECE admission.
Placements: The college provides the best packages like 4 lakh to 8 lakh. There are many companies interested in the college such as TCS, Khar Technologies, Mahindra, etc. In this course, there are no roles offered. The course has a total of 30 percent of students to provide placement facilities.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. In this college, the department and hostel canteen's food is very good. Multiple facilities are provided like classrooms, labs , hostels, libraries, etc. Sports teams are organised for sports and games tournaments.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are very good, and these courses for available teachers are very good and provide knowledge to students. These courses are a total four-year course duration and have 8 semesters. And these exams are very difficult and hard for every student.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2025

Placement records are very worse.
Placements: There is no placement at all in this college, especially in the civil branch. Other branches like CSE and ESE have placement but average packages offered are very low, like 4-5 LPA. The worst-placed record is in the civil branch, where there was no placement record this year, i.e., in 2024.
Infrastructure: The college building is good but not maintained properly so it looks like Khandhar. Wi-Fi is available. The hostel buildings were also not maintained properly. Mess food is average. There is no medical facility so when you have ever had a medical emergency, you will suffer.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful as well as well qualified but some of them teach very horrifically, like they themselves try to understand the classroom while teaching. Questions asked in the semester exams were not very hard; if you study well, you will pass easily.

Ramgarh Good but could be better.
Placements: Here, the college provides campus placement but in a very limited amount. Many companies come to our college, like TCS, Bentley, Wipro, etc. The highest placement is 12 lakh per annum, and the average is 4 lakh per annum. About 20% of students get placements from campus, while others secure jobs off-campus.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is very good; in one room, 3 students live, and 20 hours of electricity is provided by the college. The menu of food is very good, but the taste is not great. The registration process for the hostel is done by filling out and submitting a form provided by the college. There are no facilities or technological provisions within the classroom.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:50. Some faculty members are very good in nature with students, but some are quite rude. I can't name any teacher because they could be considered good or bad. We have two mid-term exams and one external or viva in one semester.
Other: Names of annual festivals like Holi, Janmashtami, Sarhul, Karma Puja, Vishwakarma Puja, and Saraswati Puja are celebrated.

College is good but needs to enhance infrastructure and provide quality education.
Placements: If it comes to campus placement, I would say that there are not many opportunities, as around 40%-50% of students get placed. This largely depends on the number of companies that visit, with some companies like Tata Steel and Tech Mahindra attending.
Infrastructure: There are labs available for every branch, and the library and Wi-Fi are accessible. Some classrooms have air conditioning, while others only have fans. The campus is not as large compared to other private colleges. Regarding the hostel, the college provides accommodation that is not that great but not bad either. The Wi-Fi facilities in the hostel are lacking, although solar power is available.
Faculty: The teachers are good and helpful, and classes run according to the schedule. However, there are always some issues present in every university when it comes to exams. They are conducted twice as mid-semester and one final or end-semester exam, which requires students to visit nearby colleges and universities designated as centers for the exams.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the whole college.
Placements: The percentage of the students placed in my course was 35 percent. The highest package was 6 lakhs and the lowest package was 2 lakhs, and the average package was 4 lakhs. The top roles offered were IT operator and circuit caretaker. Some of the students got internships in several companies.
Infrastructure: The overall facilities and infrastructure available for my course are not satisfying. The classrooms and labs are very small, and the furniture is broken. The Wi-Fi facilities are not properly working. The campus is very small, and nobody can move without permission.
Faculty: The teachers are not so qualified and experienced. They do not provide enough resources for study so that students can perform well in the exams. The semester exams are very difficult because of faculty members. Our course is not curriculum-relevant, and no activities are conducted by the institute.
