BIT Sindri Admission Process 2024
BIT Sindri admissions are entrance-based. The institute accepts JEE Main score for BTech admission while MTech admission is based on the institute's entrance test as well as GATE scores. For doctoral programmes, the institute conducts its entrance examination. BIT Sindri affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology offers 10 BTech and five MTech programmes across 15 departments at UG and PG levels.

Steps for BIT Sindri Admission Process 2024
BIT Sindri admission process includes multiple steps. Candidates have to start by applying for the course of their choice. Below is step-wise BIT Sindri admission process:
STEP 1: BIT Sindri Application Process 2024
Candidates have to fill JEECE application form to apply for counselling for BTech programme. For other courses, MTech and PhD, candidates need to download the application form from the institute and submit it offline or apply online on the official website of the institute. Aspirants also need to pay an application fee to register for the course.
STEP 2: Selection Process
Once the registration is done, aspirants need to appear for JEE Main. GATE score is considered for admission to MTech programme. Aspirants applying for MTech can also appear for the entrance exam conducted by the institute. BIT may also conduct a personal interview round for selected candidates. For PhD admission, aspirants need to appear for BIT written test followed by a personal interview round.
STEP 3: Merit List and Counselling
Once selected, BIT Sindri releases a merit list. Aspirants with their names in the merit list are required to participate in counselling and document verification rounds. BTech candidates need to register for JEECE Counselling for seat allotment. Shortlisted candidates are required to pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.
