I really enjoyed my college life, explored my knowledge, met new people, and made friends.
Placements: 60% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 10 Lacs and the lowest 2.5 Lacs. Adecco India was a top recruiter. 80-85% of students got internships in Human Resources. But you have to prepare for the interview, answer questions well, and work on your communication skills too.
Infrastructure: Almost all facilities are available. If you get admission, you'll never face any issue regarding Wi-Fi or food. I would like to say that the chawmin and chili potato are so tasty, please if you would have taken admission, so please try once, you'll never forget the taste.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and understanding. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and helps to make work easier and explore knowledge. 80-90% of students passed, it's pretty obvious that if you're not prepared, you can't pass the exam, so please prepare yourself for the exam.
Other: I was quite interested in my course, wanted to explore knowledge. Need to add some more topics. Yes, almost all fests were celebrated.

A good place to get exposure and grow your intellect.
Placements: In my course, there were 284 students. Out of that, 124 took college placement, and the remaining went for their further studies. The highest package was 13 lac per year, and the lowest was 467,000 per annum . India polls political consultancy. Most of us did internships in the 2nd year in Aaj Tak and India Today group.
Infrastructure: We had all the amenities which were required for a better growth of intellect. Our class was in a basic room with a capacity of 45 students and 2 ac with WiFi and a projector . In our campus, there was a canteen, a playground, and an indoor ground too. The hostel was good, even the food was moderate.
Faculty: Professors were too interactive and too qualified to be just teachers . I don’t think so. Pol science is relevant in India because on the ground you can’t get a good job; you have to have further degrees or go for a startup or gov jobs like UPSC. Semester exams were just a copy and paste of last year’s questions.

A critique to the English department
Placements: Generally placements for interpretation are offered in this course but this course is mostly helpful for education sector. Without further experience one might not even get placement. Even in the placement cell, job opportunities are generally for computer science and business students.
Infrastructure: The wifi is average, though it doesn't work in the classrooms. No AC in any classrooms but only in the library. Food is average but mostly half of the menu is never available and very limited funds are provided for the sports department. Medicine facilities are not that good too.
Faculty: Teachers are good at teaching and explaining the syllabus but the syllabus doesn't help much for further placements and doesn't make the students industry ready. Exams are unpredictable, either easy or hard. Semesters are short for like 3-4 months rather than 6 months.
Other: The number of students in our course exceeds 100 and the classrooms provided are relatively smaller and darker. It would be good to improve them.

Q:   Is Ramjas College good for B.A.?

    A:
    {Source: B.A. students & alumni}

    Q:

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here are some key takeaways:

    * Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is mixed, with some old buildings and limited Wi-Fi connectivity.
    * Teaching Quality: Teachers are generally well-qualified and helpful, but some may require additional effort from students.
    * Course Curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for further education and employment.
    * Exams: Exams are moderate to difficult, but students who study hard tend to perform well.
    * Placements: While placements are improving, they are still relatively low for Arts and Humanities students. Limited companies visit the campus for placements, and salaries range from INR3-INR7 LPA.

    * Campus Life: Student life is vibrant, with various societies and events organized throughout the year.

Overall, Ramjas College can be a good fit for B.A. students seeking a strong foundation in their chosen subject and desiring to gain practical experience through internships. While placements may not be a primary focus, the college provides ample opportunities for personal growth and development.

    Recommendations:

    * Prospective students should consider factors beyond placements, such as faculty qualifications, course relevance, and campus life.
    * Students should actively seek out internships and networking opportunities outside of the college.
    * Alumni associations and career guidance centers within the college can provide valuable support for career advancement.
