Facilities provided here are not that good.
Placements: This year, only a few students have taken physics. Physics department gets very few placements or no placements in some years. Mostly, IT and fashion designing departments get placements. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Orient Craft.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not good enough. Only economically weak students can live there. Many facilities are not provided. The library and labs are adjustable. Equipments in the labs are not proper. Mess food is not that good. A canteen is not available. Medical facilities are also not available. During the winter, the college organises sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are good, knowledgeable, and experienced, interact with students. They help weak students personally. They complete the syllabus before our exams. Semester exams are not that hard. If we put in our efforts, then it's easy to pass. The pass percentage this year is approximately 70%.
Other: I like to study things in physics, so I chose this subject. Everything is good but I wish I had regular classes and well-maintained labs. The college hosts events from time to time. Sports and other activities like dancing and singing are organised in our college.

Our college is the best for women with good academic records.
    Placements: Placements are less.
Infrastructure: There are two separate campuses for science and art students known as the science and art block. All the classrooms, labs, and library are in good condition. There is no Wi-Fi. There is a hostel facility for girls. Hostel fee is affordable. There are ground and gym available.
Faculty: Faculty is very good, highly qualified, and experienced. Examinations are conducted on time. Mid-semester is easy but end semester is not.
Other: There is a wide variety of subjects. Annual sports day and youth festival are organised in February where many cultural and educational events take place. Students get many opportunities to attend national and international seminars which are highly effective and useful. Scholarship facility is also available.

The college is located just 30 km from the city center, making it easily accessible.
Placements: The college boasts an impressive placement rate of 90%, with top companies like Google, Microsoft, and TCS recruiting from the campus. The highest package offered last year was ?20 Lacs per annum, while the average package was around ?6 Lacs per annum. Internship opportunities are also plentiful, with several companies offering summer internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure: The campus is sprawling and well-maintained, with modern classrooms equipped with the latest technology. The library is extensive, offering a vast collection of books and digital resources. Laboratories are state-of-the-art, providing hands-on experience with the latest equipment. The hostels are comfortable, with good dining facilities and recreational areas.

    Mathematics Department, Ranchi Women's College
Placements: In the general courses, Women's College Ranchi does not provide any placement to any of the students, but it prepares the students in such a way that in whichever field they would like to apply in their future, they would get easily selected. The college provides placement only for the vocational courses, not the general courses, though the placement is very good. I have heard from the students of distinct courses that there are good placements in very good companies. The package is also very good for beginner students. Placement drives are held in the college for the students. Getting placement in this college is very easy because it only requires good attendance and good marks in all the semesters.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not up to the mark of a good women’s college, but it can be adjustable. We have many classrooms for different students belonging to different courses. The college has three floors, and the washroom facility is available on the first and second floors. I belong to the math department, and we usually have our classes on the ground floor, with a capacity of more than 200 students. The faculty is very good; when you ask questions or have doubts, they will surely answer them. They even advise us to ask more and more questions so that we can solve every problem that we face in the semester examination. We also have a library where we must register at the beginning of the semester and then can take any book from the library, either read it sitting there or bring it home for a maximum of 15 days. The librarian is also good; she maintains all the required details for the students who took the book from the library. The library environment is also very good, allowing students who want to study to do so quietly. I wasn’t a hostel student, but when I applied for the hostel at the start, the space was already full, so I did not get a room and had to rent in the local area near the college. I had many friends from the college, so I asked them about the rooms and the facilities available. They told me that in the hostel rooms, they were not allowed to enter after 5 p.m., the gates were locked, and their parents were informed. No extra family members were allowed to visit the hostel campus, nor were they allowed to stay with the students on campus; they had to find another hotel or lodge to stay. The hostel food was good; they provided three days of non-veg and three days of veg, which all the students could avail themselves of. The food quality was good, not like other hostels where they only provided water. The food quality was really amazing for a women’s college. There is also Wi-Fi in the college, so anyone belonging to the college can use it.
Faculty: The faculty in Ranchi Women's College, especially in my department, the mathematics department, were quite helpful. They had a lot of knowledge about the subject and could answer any of the questions you asked them. They were very polite. Even if they did not have time to answer in class, they would ask students from any semester to come to the mathematics department staff room and ask their questions there. They had all the knowledge about all the topics, and sometimes they even told us how we would prepare ourselves in the mathematics department in the future, even after leaving the college. About the mathematics course, I really feel that I have made the best choice because it guarantees a good job and a bright future. While studying mathematics in this college for three years, I realized that we learned many life lessons and also about the subject, which is interesting. Students who like math should really pursue it. The semester exams were not necessarily taken every six months; sometimes they would be held either before or after six months, as it was up to the university, not Ranchi Women's College. But the teachers prepared us in such a way that when we received the semester question papers, we could answer them very nicely because we already knew what kind of questions the university would ask, and we were well-prepared to answer any of them.
Other: Choosing mathematics for graduation was a good choice for me because I had an interest in math, and today, the work I am doing is very related to math. It offers government jobs, private jobs, or even jobs in MNCs. About events being held on the Ranchi University campus, many fairs were held, and all students from all courses were invited. We had many Mahotsav, Savan Mela, and Youth Mela, and then we had an annual sports meet. In this Mahotsav, we participated in mehndi competitions, rangoli competitions, essay writing, debates, and different types of dances from various cultures. We also had a freshers' party at the start, and when the course was about to end, in the last semester, we had a farewell where everyone was allowed to wear colorful clothes, which was amazing. Every function we had in our college was amazing and mesmerizing. The surroundings of Ranchi Women's College are very good as well. When we take admission, we receive a notice that no male members of our family or friends are allowed on campus. Even the guard at the main gate stops every male member trying to enter the campus. The college also provides scholarships to different students based on their merits every year. The scholarship amounts are significant so that students can use it to pay for various things like job applications, hostel fees, or semester fees. The scholarship is available to all students, regardless of their course.

My college has good teachers but poor teaching quality and poor infrastructure.
Placements: There were about 60% of students in my course. The package offered to us about 30 to 40 thousand. We have worked in small companies. 30 per cent of students in our batch got internships in small and big companies. Role of biomedical chemist and lab chemist offered to me.
Infrastructure: No facility for wi-fi connection and poor infrastructure in my course. The quality of food is satisfactory. Medical facilities are available in our courses all the time. My hostel ground is very big, it has a tennis court and a basketball ball ground.
Faculty: Teaching quality is poor. Teachers are knowledgeable but do not give much attention to students betterment. Communication between teacher and student is not very good. The course was relevant. No, we don't feel that the course had made us properly industry-ready.
Other: I was interested in chemistry so I chose this course. Their teaching quality should be better and should have better facilities in hostel.

Experience in this college has been wonderful.
Placements: We don't have any placements in B.Sc biotech. Placements are offered in almost all courses but not in this department. Quality of placement is low for biotech branches, but for IT and other departments, it has good scope for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Our college provides all the necessary equipment though it lacks some infrastructure like Wi-Fi availability and smart boards in every class. The college has a gym for regular use, and there is also a sports department. Living spaces used to be clean.
Faculty: Teachers were interactive and supportive. All of them were well-qualified and knowledgeable. Our curriculum includes all the recent development in this field and makes us well aware of our developments in our profession. Faculty members are very friendly, and students can ask their doubts at any time.
Other: Overall, it is an average college.
