Is BA at Ranchi Women's College a Good Choice?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here are the key points to consider:

    Infrastructure and Facilities:
    * The infrastructure is mixed - while the ambiance of the college is beautiful, the classrooms may not be well-maintained, and the library lacks sufficient resources.
    * There are separate libraries for each department, but the library of the Arts Block is considered better.
    * The campus has Wi-Fi connectivity, and there are hostels available for students.

    Teaching Quality and Curriculum:
    * The teaching quality is generally good, with most teachers being highly qualified and knowledgeable.
    * However, the course curriculum may not fully prepare students for the industry, and the semester exams can be challenging.
    * The teachers are supportive and take care of students' overall development.

    Job Placements and Internships:
    * Around 30% of students get placed in the BA course, and the top roles offered include teacher and content writer.
    * Many companies visit the college for recruitment, and internships are also available.
    * Although the salary package can be relatively low, students are encouraged to pursue further education or competitive exams.

    Campus Life and Extra-Curricular Activities:
    * The campus life is vibrant, with various events and programs organized throughout the year.
    * Students participate in debates, quizzes, and group discussions, which helps build their confidence and prepares them for industry requirements.

In conclusion, while the BA course at Ranchi Women's College has its strengths and weaknesses, it can be a good choice for those interested in pursuing higher education in the humanities. However, students should be aware of the limitations of the infrastructure and the potential challenges in finding suitable job opportunities. With hard work and determination, students can still achieve success in their careers.

    Ranchi Women's College - a conservative college.
Placements: There is no placement in our college, nor are there any internship opportunities provided. The college is only responsible for providing the course completion certificate. Students must work independently by enrolling in other platforms to enhance their skills.
Infrastructure: The campus only has academic buildings. The classrooms are decent, but there is no availability of projectors or smart boards. Wi-Fi is available in important areas like the reception, but not in the classrooms. Essential facilities like washrooms and drinking water are well-maintained.
Faculty: The teachers are good, using references from popular history books, as I was a history student. The curriculum mainly focuses on memorizing facts related to different aspects of history. There are group discussions, and teachers use conventional methods to teach.

It is the best college in the city.
Placements: Many top recruiting companies visit our college for recruitment. Internships are offered in this course. The top roles offered are teacher and content writer. Approximately 30% of students got placed in this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is beautiful, especially the ambiance of this college. There are separate classrooms for different branches. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are individual libraries for all departments. The library of arts block is much better than the science block.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. All teachers are highly qualified. The course curriculum does not make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are easy. If we study well, we can score good marks.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. There is no need for any improvement. Many fests and programs are conducted in this college.

Decent college for girls in Ranchi.
Placements: 80% of students are placed after their course. Great companies visited every year in college. Teachers are supportive. Also, there are several internships for students. And also, you get information about placements and internships from teachers, the placement cell, and college information groups.
Infrastructure: Very nice facilities and faculty members are present in the college, and you have a good library for your personal study. Hostels are also there for students. All types of labs are present for their respective courses, as is a very big playground. Sports and games are also played often.
Faculty: Great teachers are here with a supportive mindset. 90% is the passing percentage. Also, teachers are well qualified and take care of students in every way. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Their ways of teaching are also interesting. The course is relevant in many areas, like competition, public analysis, and UPSC state PCS.
Other: Very good and safe college for girls. Scholarships are also there, as are many extracurricular activities.

    The not-so-perfect college.
Placements: There are students who have been offered various content writing jobs in companies immediately after completing their Masters. And the number of students getting various jobs across the country who are passed out from this very college are not bad at all.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is poor to be honest. The classrooms are not clean, some not even properly lit. The library has very few books and is mostly empty. There is no Wi-Fi facility for students there. The hostel in arts block is not good. No canteen facility.
Faculty: The teachers are good. Except from a few most teachers are extremely knowledgeable. The course provides very relevant information and yes it makes us ready for the placement. The semester exams are slightly difficult but the questions are always interesting and thought provoking.
Other: There are various informative seminars going on regularly concerning the ecosystem.

*Dissatisfied* Fees is nominal the studies are not.
Placements: The job placement program is for the students. This program is conducted in a grand way and many companies visit our campus for campus placement. The average packages are around 2 Lacs to 3 Lacs. Every aspect is required for placements selection. An internship is a best way for classroom knowledge to practice. As the college provides internship 10000 to 20000 hours a statement.
Infrastructure: Women's college established in 1954, is under Ranchi University with courses up to postgraduate level in arts, Science and commerce stream. Courses in B.Ed IT and computers have also been started. The college has good infrastructure and faculty and has a glorious past. The road leading to the college is busy and there is parking problem outside.
Faculty: Teacher's are well qualified with Ph.D. degree. Teacher's here are like a friend so relationship is just as friendship. The standard of teaching is upto the mark. But it needs more friendly touch so that the students are not scared of them to share things.

It is a good college especially for students who belong to a middle-class family.
Placements: Final semester students become eligible for the campus placements. Only some of the companies visit here. About 40% of the total students get jobs through job placements. The highest salary package ever received is 4 LPA. Some local BPOs visit here and they hire several students. My plans after getting the degree are to do a Ph.D. in our subject.
Infrastructure: There is a library in both the blocks of the college where you can issue books using your Id cards. Classroom maintenance is very good. It can fit hundreds of students in the classroom. Annual sports function is organised in December in the college field. There are many groups for different fields. They organise various programs in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and amazing. The course is semester-based. There are two semesters present in one year. Each semester has one mid-semester. Externals come in semester exams for practicals. The university provides industrial exposure according to the course chosen.
Other: The campus life is good. Various events are held every month. Annual sports day is held, and we also have kabaddi, kho-kho, and race. Christmas parties, Durga Puja events, and all festivals are celebrated. Freshers party is held by each department. For the whole year, there is some program going on in the college. More than classes, they have programs in the college. Freshers and farewells are given to the first-year student and final year students respectively.
