RCCIT: All you need to know.
Placements: It offers a quite good package of an average of 6 Lacs per annum. The faculty members are quite good and friendly. Internship opportunities are quite good and can be achieved by skilling up.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good and there are a huge number of laboratories for each department. Students can study well in the classrooms with good connectivity of Wi-Fi on each floor. Overall the Infrastructure is quite good.
Faculty: The faculty is very good. Most of the faculty members are holding a Ph.D. degree. Students can learn a lot from them. They are very friendly. Students should study well and skill themselves up so that they can grab a good placement.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of college fees and faculty.
Placements: It's a below-average college as it's recently converted into a private institute. Facilities are not that much nice, but you will get a hill environment there. No sports area, just a small ground on campus. Talking about placement, the average is 4 LPA, and the highest is 14 LPA. Companies like B.M.C., Tavisca, TCS, etc. In my opinion, if you just need a degree, then this college is for you. Although their fees are just like 1 lakh per annum, it will reduce if you have your scholarship under a student credit program, etc. Like that, and there is no hostel right now.
Infrastructure: Although quality is decent, the number of placement percentages is about 80 percent nearly. Mess and canteen are okay type; you can eat. There are no such medical facilities. Now talking about sports, there are mainly indoor games conducted, and outdoor is basically less according to me. And there is a fest like Bihaan that makes your day good; it's just like awesome.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, and some are not, to be very clear. Basically, most of them are not Ph.D. holders, and their teaching quality is above average; it's good. So as I said, it's a private college recently being autonomous, so the exam curriculum is easy, meaning you can have more marks in their internal. The pass percentage is like 90 percent.

The review of RCC Institute Of Information Technology.
Placements: I am from the information technology department; the average package was around 4 LPA and the average number of placements was around 70 percent. The highest package in 2023 was 14 LPAs, which are offered by B.M.C. and the largest recruiting company was Cognizant. The college organizes campusing and pool campusing.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't provide hostel facilities. Around the college area, many PGs and rented flats are available. The rent for a 2-bed sharing apartment is around 3 to 4k; the rent for a 2-bedroom flat is around 10 to 15k per month, depending on its location. The college provides Wi-Fi facilities to students.
Faculty: For the B.Tech course, there are 8 semesters in the whole period. The student-teacher ratio is 1:60, which is not so good. Most of the professors are from Jadavpur University. Some professors teaching skills are good, while others teaching skills are so boring (in my opinion).
Other: College has many fests like Bihaan, Regalia, GOT and so on. The college provides on-campus placements, which is good. During direct admission, colleges don't charge any kind of donation.

Overall, a good tear-down 3-college in Kolkata.
Placements: Most of the students from CSE get higher chances of getting placed . ECE Electrical has less chances. The highest package is nearly 9 LPA and the lowest is sometimes up to 2.5 LPA . It depends on the company and the students. You have to find your internship in most of the cases. Most of the ECE students and other branch students get placed in IT roles. So if you want ECE-related roles, you have to find it yourself . As of now, in 2025 placement, the companies like Accenture and CTS are doing placement .
Infrastructure: No hostel, but nearby PG is available at a good price . Good labs are available for all the courses. Computer labs are very advanced, and all the software is available . Great facilities for sports and co-curriculum. good library facility. All the needed books will be provided by book banks .
Faculty: MAKAUT syllabus is not too much to say . There will be an exam the whole year. Sometimes there is not much gap between two semesters. But good faculty are available; they will help you out in every step. Semesters are not very difficult if you cover the syllabus . But people get backlog frequently for no good reason. You will not get to know much about how they calculate the result in MAKAUT , so that's a downside. Total 4 internal and a semester in a year, there will be 8 ca and 2 semesters.

A bit dissatisfied because of the placements but it was good previously.
Placements: The placements they provide are mainly tech companies hiring for IT and CSC people. For ECE, the percentage of students getting a chance in the core field is not that much but there are also examples going high on based on their skills.
Infrastructure: The faculty is too good; the infrastructure available is also good for Wi-Fi. There is a facility of having free college Wi-Fi to use it for academic purposes, but for that one needs to verify admission and one security checkup first . The classrooms are good; some of them are air conditioned. The library is there but according to me, it is too small, which can be enlarged by the authority.
Faculty: All the faculty members are highly educated, with many holding PhD degrees. They are both highly qualified and helpful. This year, our college became autonomous, allowing for changes in the curriculum. The college will now set its own syllabus, which is expected to remove outdated topics and include new, trending, and relevant subjects.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in electronics and considering the current scenario of semiconductors in India. Hopefully, the semiconductor industry will see a significant boost in the next four to five years, creating many job opportunities. Campus life is good, with many events and fests. All the seniors are very helpful, and it is a completely ragging-free campus.

Don't take admission for college life.
Placements: Placement opportunities have been relatively limited this year, with the average package offered currently standing at 10 Lacs INR. While this may be below expectations for some, it's important to focus on skill development and networking to improve prospects.
Infrastructure: The college group has become a source of frustration, plagued by organization and lack of meaningful activities. Members often feel disconnected, with poorly planned events and effective communication. Rather than fostering a supportive community, it has evolved into a chaotic and productive environment.
Faculty: There is a lot of pressure due to exams because the college is affiliated with MAKAUT. In the first year, many teachers, to be honest, don't know how to teach effective. This lack of proper guidance adds to the stress, making it difficult for students to perform well.
