Absolutely dissatisfied because of college fees and faculty.

Placements: It's a below-average college as it's recently converted into a private institute. Facilities are not that much nice, but you will get a hill environment there. No sports area, just a small ground on campus. Talking about placement, the average is 4 LPA, and the highest is 14 LPA. Companies like B.M.C., Tavisca, TCS, etc. In my opinion, if you just need a degree, then this college is for you. Although their fees are just like 1 lakh per annum, it will reduce if you have your scholarship under a s...

First year BTech student review.

Placements: Placements are average since mostly TCS and Wipro hire through bulk hiring and there is no product-based company at all. The average CTC is 4.5 LPA this year, and the highest is 13 LPA. The percentage of placement is almost 90%, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Ninja, Wipro, etc.

RCCIIT- all information merged together.

Placements: The placement percentage is about 80 to 85. The highest package provided to 2022 graduates is 13 LPA. Around 40 percent of students got internships in companies like IBM, B.M.C. etc. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant etc. The students are well skilled and get good jobs.

The review of RCC Institute Of Information Technology.

Placements: I am from the information technology department; the average package was around 4 LPA and the average number of placements was around 70 percent. The highest package in 2023 was 14 LPAs, which are offered by B.M.C. and the largest recruiting company was Cognizant. The college organizes campusing and pool campusing.

Things you need to know about RCCIIT.

Placements: In our IT department, our college boasts a 77% placement rate. The highest placement this year is around 11 lakhs, and the lowest is around 2.7 lakhs. The average is 4 lakhs, but the placement scenario is not revealed properly. There is no idea about internships. Top recruiters include Cognizant, TCS. Typo for tier -3 colleges.

Our college is good in terms of education.

Placements: It is a private college. Our college provides good placements. Students got some on-campus as well as off-campus placement opportunities. Almost 70% of students got placed in our branch in our college as well as off-campus. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 2.5 LPA - 3.5 LPA. Some startups and MNCs visit our college to recruit students. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, ...

Our college is only good for studying.

Placements: Our college has an average campusing record. There's a requirement for all-around development. The package is around 2.5LPA - 3 LPA on average. But if you do it on your skills without depending on the college, then you can have 13 LPA -14 LPA packages from companies like TCS, cognizant, etc.,

I think it is a moderate college.

Placements: Almost 30% to 40% of the students got placed in our college, and sometimes it goes under 20% to 30%. Maximum students went for higher education. The salary package offered is between 2 LPA to 5 LPA. TCS, Maruti, etc., are the companies which come to hire students. Almost 80% of the students got an internship from our course.

Our college and faculty members are good.

Placements: Almost 5% of the students got placed. The minimum salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the maximum salary package offered was 5 LPA. Rich Products and Zycus were a few companies that visited here for recruitment. Engineer roles were assigned to all pass-out students while recruitments of the graduates from this college.

Review of RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT).

Placements: Around 50% of the students get placed from college. Only IT companies visit our campus. No core companies come to our college for recruitment. So as electrical students we get less chance for not knowing programming languages well. TCS and many other companies visit our campus for recruitment. The salary package offered ranges from 1 LPA - 3 LPA.

Overall, our college is good for studies and also for placements.

Placements: In our college, this year, placements were good but not as good as expected. This year, the placement rate was around 30%. Only a few students get placements, so the highest salary package offered is around 3 LPA, which was also the average salary package. TCS and many more companies visited here, but they conduct placements for CSE and IIT students.

Absolutely didsatisfied of the college from all fields. Absolutely not recommended.

Placements: Talking about on campus placement was very less around 8-10 out of 120 and the salaries the highest was about 7.5 Lacs but it was off campus placement. Top recruiters are TCS, CTS, Infosys. This department consists of the roles from Computer Science and also Electrical Engineering, this makes the department a bit versatile. It has its domain in IT Companies and also core companies. Students get internship based on their capability, college doesn't provide much. Overall there are better options t...

If you want to take admission in this college, try pursuing computer science course.

Placements: Placements of our batch (2017) were not up to the mark. From the electrical stream, only 20-25 students got placed in MNCs. So, out of 60 to 65 students, half of the students remained unplaced. The average salary package offered was the standard salary package offered by top MNCs which is 3 LPA to 3.50 LPA. The MNCs that visited the campus were TCS, Capgemini, IBM, and Tech Mahindra, and they recruited 1, 10, 3, and 7 students respectively. The roles offered were like system engineer. I have onl...

Faculty and placements are average. The infrastructure is below average. Facilities are poor.

Placements: Many placement opportunities were offered through pool drives, but the placement rate was better than the previous batch. Companies like Infosys visited the campus for placements. Apart from that, we got an opportunity to appear for placements of IBM, Tech Mahindra, and TCS. The salary packages offered were around 3-4 LPA. Mainly software engineer roles were offered. Only 10%-20% of the students were left unplaced. The college needs to work on improving the soft skills of students.

The college and its faculty are good.

Placements: Placements were good in the previous years. Many companies visit the college and recruit many students. Our seniors said that the placements are good, and around 80-90% of the students get placed. The highest placement percentage is recorded in computer science and information technology departments.

The college is not much good for electrical students due to placement scenario.

Placements: Placements in the college are not much good. You have to rely on IT companies for placements. No core company visits the college. Even getting placed in the IT companies is not very easy. I would say the placement scenario is not much good for the core branch in this college.

Good college but without placements.

Placements: As far as placements are concerned, the scenario is not well in any of the college in West Bengal. But in case of RCCIIT its the worst. Last year the placement toll went maximum upto 93 (total strength being 300+) and that too because of pool campus. The companies are not willing to come to this college and the college authorities are unable to convince any organisation to come to the campus. We are having a few pool campus and that too is just a show-off for us. The pool happens in our college ...

The college facilities are good, but it should focus on placements.

Placements: I don't know about the placements on the campus as I am from the second year. As per our seniors, the placement for an electrical branch is less as compared to other branches. Not all the companies visited our college for placements. For electrical branches, not all the core companies visited the campus.

Majorly the placements are in IT companies with a moderate quality of faculty and facilities.

Placements: Around 80% of the students have been placed on the campus. Mainly IT companies namely TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini visit the campus for placements. One student got placed in Johnson Controls. The salary was ranged between Rs. 40,000 per month, the highest being Rs. 45,000 per month, and the lowest is Rs. 35,000 per month. The companies gave job profiles of trainees.

Placement scenario needs to be improved.

Placements: Hardly 20 percent of the students are placed till now in the year 2018. No MNCs are visiting the college. Only startups are visiting, and those are taking 3-4 students minimum and a maximum of 8-9 students. A large number of students are not getting placed. There is no planning for placements. This is the worst year.
