My life experience in RIEM.

Placements: We have 100% placements, but the problem is we won't get government placements. It will be some private school contact placements. It will have a below-average salary and no use in any type of CV. The placement cell of our college follows a very outdated methodology.

Good infrastructure and hostel facilities. Good study environment. Best faculty members.

Placements: Hi guys, I am a student of RIE, Mysore, currently in the 2nd year pursuing M.Sc. Ed Mathematics. This is a 6-year course where the first 4 years the syllabus is the same as B.Sc. Ed students, and the last two years are M.Sc. syllabus. As it is governed by NCERT and is a teacher education program, education is compulsory in every semester. It will not only help you in getting a job but also in educational psychology, children psychology, learning styles, etc., which will be helpful to maintain a ...

Good placements, average college, toxic workplace .

Placements: Usually, most people who sit for placements get placed. The average package is around 4 to 5 Lacs per annum. Schools from all over the nation, this year even international schools, came seeking for recruiters here. The college has a stringent scrutiny factor while filtering schools for recruitment.

Satisfied with the faculty, good placements every year, good in everything except hostel facilities.

Placements: A good number of 25-30 schools come for the placements. Final semester students take part in placements. 45000 INR for TGT and 50000 for PGT is the package offered. Most of the students who graduate go for higher education. Many schools from all over the southern states and few from abroad come for placements .

It is a lovely college for those who want to become good teachers.

Placements: There are placement from private schools. There will be 100% placement. The minimum salary will be 25k+ per month. The maximum salary can be 45k+ per month. Since this college is a teacher training institute, there will be private schools like Delhi public school and some other international schools as recruiters. Most of them give TET exams to qualify for central institutes like Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya.

In 2015, there were good placements here. The average salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month.

Placements: There are 100% placements in our college. The highest salary package was offered by Delhi Public School in 2016, and it was 25 LPA. Companies do not visit here for placements. They offer only teachers role. We can complete our PG with the UG, and we can save our one year by completing this degree. Our degree is provided by NCERT, and that is the benefit for us so that we could easily get the job in the teaching field.

Satisfied with faculty and placements every year but dissatisfied with the infrastructure.

Placements: Placement of this college is 100% every year. It all depends upon you whether you want to sit for the placement or not. Pay scale is increasing year by year. This year it was 30k per month. Placements is done in various private schools in any place of the country. Best part is you can sit for the placement even after graduating from rie and post graduating from other college. You can visit to the college any time and sit for the placement provided you are the alumni of that college.

The college comes under Central but is affiliated with the University of Mysore for certification.

Placements: 90% guaranteed placement. About INR 1 lakh per year is the starting salary package. The lowest salary offered is INR 35,000.  Principal is the highest role offered. All Central Board schools will be coming to recruit teachers. KV and JNV schools have special reservations about the recruitment of teachers for RIE students.
