Satisfied by events and campus but dissatisfied by faculty and placement opportunities.

Placements: I will pass out from the 2025 batch. The placement session is going on now. From the 2024 batch, about 30% of students were placed. The highest package offered is 27 LPA by a Japanese company, 'JTP'. The average package offered is 4 LPA. Companies visiting the campus are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture. The college has tied up with companies for internships. For a good internship, we need to consider off-campus internships.

It has good infrastructure and placements opportunities. But I am dissatisfied with teachers.

Placements: Almost 40% of the students got placed from our batch yet. The highest salary package offered was 11 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered ranging from 3 LPA to 3.5 LPA. The top recruiter was Accenture, and the top role offered was as a full stack developer. Around 20-30% of the students got an internship in companies like Tech Mahindra, Mahindra and Mahindra, Tata Motors, Ford Motors, etc.

They need to improve placement procedures.

Placements: Placements for our batch were not good. Students have to qualify a test conducted by the management to be eligible to attend placement drives. The students who failed in that test are not allowed to apply for placement drives. I suggest the management stop conducting that test. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest was 1.8 LPA. Students are offered roles like software developers and testers, etc. Companies like Accenture and Cognizant visit the campus for placements.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements for It and CSE are much better than the civil department. Most of the students look for core companies. Only a few numbers of civil students got placed on the campus placements. Sinhgad Institute has central placements cell, and most of the students get placed in good companies.

We have good faculty and good placements for CS and IT, but poor infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: As the placements are centralised, vacancies are less. So, most of the students remained unplaced. From our department, hardly 5 to 6 students get placed from the mechanical branch. For computer science and IT branches, placements are quite good. Companies like Amazon visited our college and offered the roles of a tele-caller, which is shameful.

Joining this college is waste of time and money.

Placements: My batch was the second ever batch the college had. The college was new and was struggling because of its faculty, other facilities, and concerns regarding the placement cell. The placements were not at all good for the civil and mechanical branch students. The struggle was really bad. For my civil department, there were just two companies, Paranjape constructions and Sanveo. Rest of the companies that visited the college during the placements were IT companies.

Engineering had became a BUSINESS!

Placements: Placements are common for all the sinhgad students. Mostly IT companies visit the college for placements. Firstly, companies used to come with 200-300 seats, but now the scenario is totally different The number of seats are like 15-20 and the criteria has increased as the competition is more. This has decreased the number of placed students.

If having average marks good option to opt.

Placements: Whole sinhgad institute has central placement cell so Rmd has good placements overall. Only drawback is some big and core companies are provided to only main sinhgad branches students like SCOE vadgaon. But in coming years I think RMD's placements will increase more. Packages offered are in range of 1.8 to 6.2 LPA.

The infrastructure is good, but quality education is not provided to students.

Placements: The placements are said to be central placements among all Sinhgad Institutes, but it's not true. Some companies that visit the main campus do not visit our campus. The placements in our college are not up to the mark. Only seven students out of 240 got placed from mechanical in 2017-18 batch, that too in Accenture as it is not a core company. All the companies don't visit the campus for placements.

Not much satisfied with the placements in 2018 and last year was disappointing.

Placements: The placements are still going on for my batch. Last year, only 25% of the students from my department were placed. The average package offered was Rs. 3 Lakhs per annum. There is also a training placement officer who helps in each and every process of the recruitment. Till now, only 10 people have been offered internships.

The placements are good in the IT industry, and not good for the mechanical and civil engineering.

Placements: Sinhgad Institutes conduct the centralised placement activity. So even though it is new college, you will get good placement opportunities. They conduct the separate training and placement activities to train the students. From the 2nd year onwards, there are soft skill classes twice in a week. Mostly, IT companies will come for the placements like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, etc. So I would recommend new students to opt for this college only if they are interested in the IT industry.

Overall, there are good placement, facilities and placements too.

Placements: Good pool placements are provided in this college. The students from the last batch were placed in different companies. Most of the companies are IT-based. Overall, the placements are good. An average salary of Rs. 3.5 lakhs is offered to the students. This is the highest package that was offered by one of the companies. They are placed according to their abilities.

A worthy move. But, you don't feel it like a campus.

Placements: If you take admission in Sinhgad Institutes, you will be eligible to centralise PLC. It is a partially true word. Many companies do not consider this college. Accenture, Oracle like companies, are there for placement, but at the same time, Atlas Copco, Infosys do take into consideration.

Not satisfied with the infrastructure due to the small canteen.

Placements: The placements for my senior batch were good but not for students of my branch. Nearly 10% students were placed. I don't remember about highest salary but the average salary is around Rs. 3.5 LPA. Mostly, software and IT companies visited the campus. The college collects data of the students who do internships and the next batch is recommended to the internship in those companies.

A place good for studies and careers.

Placements: Last year, a boy from computer engineering got placed in a company for INR 8 Lacs and a boy from mechanical engineering got placed in the Indian Navy. This year, a boy from computer engineering got placed in QT company for INR 8.5 Lacs. Also, 2 students got placed in another company for 6.5 Lacs and 7 Lacs.

This college is good but there is problem in hostel and food.

Placements: In this college, very few students get placed. Now due to some reasons it is getting worse, if students are maintaining pointer then they can get placed easily. The computer department still has placement by electrical and has the lowest of placement. If students resume is storing then they can get placed.
