I am absolutely dissatisfied because of teachers, hostel food, fees and also core placements.

Placements: There are totally 200 students in the mechanical engineering branch. Top recruitment companies for our college are TCS and Infotech. Top roles offered in our college are managers. The highest salary package of 1.5 LPA and the lowest salary package of 1 LPA are offered in our college. Nearly 50% of students got internship certificates. Most of them completed their internships in steel plant, which is many certificates offered company for the mechanical students.

It has reputation for its name, not for education.

Placements: The placements are provided at low packages, starting from 1 lakh to 3.38 Lacs per annum. No quality teaching is provided for students. The students have to strive on their own for getting selected in the campus placements. Placement percentage is poor, about 40% of the students will get placed. There is no guarantee of call letters.

My experiences in my college.

Placements: In TCS, 290, NTT data and Tech-Mahindra each of 40. These are the main placement companies. There are other core companies for all the branches. The number of call centres that visit the is very high and the management says that even call-centers are placements.

Not satisfied with the teaching methods and constrained by many rules and blackmailing.

Placements: Not enough placements in the past years. Most of the companies coming aren't MNC but are some call centre. The placements that have come are just some companies to which the college management requests to come for recruitment. 30% have been placed from my super seniors' Batch.

I am completely dissatisfied because of the infrastructure and caste feeling.

Placements: Around 50% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. TCS is the top recruiting company. Top roles offered are software developer and tester, and a few roles of mechanical jobs are also offered. In our course, the salary package offered is around 3.5 to 4 LPA. None of the students got an internship from the college side, so you have to search it on your own.
