S.D. College, Barnala Scholarships and Funding

To support the underprivileged students, SD College provides them with scholarships from the government (SC/ST/OBC eligible students) as well as non-government agencies. College also provides fee concessions to economically weak students.

Institute provides scholarships and financial support from other sources such as SC, Dr Lal Chand Aggarawal and Smt Durga Devi Memorial Scholarship donated by Air Marshal KuldeepRai (Retd.), Guru Harkishan Educational society, Aggrawal Sabha Barnala, and Nishkam Sikh welfare council.

Average college for middle class students.

Placements: The placement is not up to the mark. Only 2-3 % got placement, others have to join local firms. The highest package offered was 4 lakhs per annum. Top recruitment was from Amazon, Airtel etc. The average package offered is 2 lakhs. The roles offered are for accounting and taxation assistance.

The college has good facilities and helpful environment.

Placements: The college charges a fee of Rs. 15,000 to 20,000 for a 1-year course. Students should score an average of 65 to 70% in their academics to get admission here, and for SC and lower cast, they will provide scholarships. For internships, students should score more than 70 to 90% in their academics. Most of the students get an entry in the college easily, and their scholarship system is the best.

Dissatisfied with the fewer placement opportunities, everything is just awesome!

Placements: I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme at my college, affiliated with Punjab University Patiala. My batch has over 130 students. Although the college does not directly offer placements, around 50% of students from previous batches secured jobs, with packages ranging from Rs. 3 to 6 Lacs per annum, averaging Rs. 4.5 Lacs. Nice infrastructure, Well qualified staff But low placements.

Placements: Almost 20% of students were placed after completion of every batch in that college the highest annual package of around 4.80Lacs Average annual package of around 2.60lacs Lower annual package of around 1.20Lacs Top recruiting companies for my course is Trained Graduate teacher 5%of students got internship from my course to take lectures in other schools To teach students is the top roles offered in my course .

Placements: The percentage of students in the course was 75%. It was a combined class of boys and girls. The highest salary offered was Rs.10000 per month, the average salary offered was Rs.5000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs.2000 per month.
