Sea College true review by a student of final year.

Placements: Placements are good but the packages are very low, around 3-4 LPA, and there are no big companies approaching the college; only some small companies are recruiting. They conduct tests and interviews, but no one seems to be getting selected, and I don't know why.

The basic information about SEA college of engineering and technology.

Placements: The placements are very poor in this college and only almost 10% of students will get placed with an average package. Very less companies are collaborating with the college for placement opportunities. The highest package was about 7 LPA and the lowest package was around 3 LPA.

Infrastructure is good at college but the placements is not good.

Placements: For our batch we got less placements as compared to the prev batches. Ten percentage of students only got placed in companies. Remaining there are not placed and still they are searching for jobs. Cabgemini and some of the companies are recorded the students.

I would not recommend students to take admission in it.

Placements: It provides a very low quality of placements. Less number of students will get placed in good companies. The highest salary pacakge offered ranges from 5 LPA - 6 LPA. The least salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Hardly few students will get internships. Companies are not that recognised which hire students from our college. The role offered is product-based, service-based, security-based, etc.

I am satisfied, but I suggest not to waste your valuable time.

Placements: Almost 20% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA. Sonata and Capgemini are the top recruiters. Almost 60% of the students got internships basically in many startup companies. Roles were offered like software engineer and quality assurance. Placements are not that good.

It is a good college with average placements.

Placements: Placements in this college cannot be said as the best, but they are also not the worst. Tier-2 companies like TCS, Infosys, etc., visit the campus to hire. Almost 50% of the students got placements on our campus. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The major role offered was as a software developer.

It's a good college for mechanical branch if you have a rank above 40-50 thousand.

Placements: None of my batch mates got placed from college side. Only few placement drives were held, but they offered very low package and demanded a bonded agreement, so nobody was willing to take risks. In the previous years too, not many students have been placed.

As per my experience, the college has good faculty, average placement, best facilities.

Placements: The placement was good. Many companies like Sobha Construction, T&T etc. came. Only 45% students got placement. The highest salary was Rs. 7.2 lakhs per year, the lowest was Rs. 3.2 lakhs per year and the average was Rs. 4.2 lakhs per year. All kinds of roles were offered, like site engineer, traffic engineer etc. 70% to 80% students got internship.

In total I would say I'm okay with my college.

Placements: I guess we could say about 50 percent students were placed in our course. The highest package offered would be in between 10-12 lacs per annum. About 30-40 percent of the students in my course get placed every year. I don't really remember most of the recruiting companies.

Dissatisfied with placement.

Placements: They conducted only 2 placement apart from they didn't provide any placement. Previous batch also they didn't provide any good placement. 2017 batch they provided more than 5 placements I think. Only 1 internship came into my college, 2 members have been selected for that.

The best college for fun.

Placements: Placement is not nice here, only couple of students get placed each year, I am in 8th semester, and no company visited our college till now, and the students usually get placed in pool drives. All over, placement is not good here, Companies which comes for placement drive offer package of max 2.4 Lacs. It's better to join some training institutes and get placed through there.
