Is B.Com at S.S.Jain Subodh Girls College Worth the Investment?

Based on student reviews and feedback, here's what you need to know:

    * Faculty: The college has a good reputation for its faculty, who are described as "calm and cooperative," with "unique" teaching styles. Professors are approachable and willing to help students with their queries.
    * Infrastructure: The college has modern infrastructure, with a clean and peaceful campus, good classrooms, and well-maintained laboratories. Students appreciate the availability of amenities such as Wi-Fi, computer labs, and a library.
    * Placement: While the college doesn't offer guaranteed placements, around 70-80% of students in the reviewer's batch did secure jobs, with an average salary package of INR4 Lacs per annum (LPA). Top recruiters include Infosys and Genpact. Some students also received internships.
    * Course relevance: Alumni believe that the B.Com programme is relevant and prepares students for various career paths, including MBA and CA.

However, there are some drawbacks to consider:

    * No placement guarantee: As mentioned earlier, the college doesn't promise placements, leaving some students without jobs despite completing their degree.
    * Limited campus facilities: Although the college has a good campus, there are limited hostel facilities available, making it inconvenient for students who require accommodation.

Overall, while S.S.Jain Subodh Girls College has its strengths, particularly in terms of faculty and infrastructure, potential students should weigh these against the lack of a placement guarantee and limited campus facilities when deciding whether the investment is worthwhile.

    Here are some key takeaways:

    * Pros: Good faculty, modern infrastructure, decent placement record
    * Cons: No placement guarantee, limited hostel facilities

Our college is good for academics and has so much fun along with studies.
Placements: Around 10-20% of students got placements. Although the faculty is not so good, they give their best to get placements. In our batch, around 15 students got placements. The lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. Stone students also get placements in foreign companies.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available in the college. Labs are good. All computers are in working condition. Classrooms have digital boards and air conditioners. The library is very good. It has a space and all books are available. Our canteen area is big and tasty food is provided with hygiene.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful during exams. They provide the best level of knowledge. Exams are not very difficult but help to boost students' knowledge and confidence. The passing percentage is 38%. Students require at least 35 marks in each subject to pass.

The best college for commerce, arts and science.
Placements: I was in the same college in 11th and 12th. Nope, the admission was based on the 12th percentile. There were no interviews, GDs or additional tests conducted. We have internship and placement offers coming to our college throughout the year. For article ship opportunities in California, we also have article ship week at our college. For graduates, we also have placement offers. The fee is around Rs. 25000 and can be paid half-yearly as well. The college also has scholarship programs run by the Rajasthan government, which can help underprivileged students. The college gets internships, articles, and placement offers from different organizations and companies as well. The stipend of the internship was excellent because the company I was working with was awesome and being a media company, it offered great internship experience.
Infrastructure: The campus was good. The canteen is very good and big. The garden was also very big and very beautiful, with many types of flowers and grass. There are two gardens. And the ground was also very big, with many sports facilities: a basketball base, a cricket base, badminton, table tennis and volleyball. Our college has a big and well-stocked library with many types of books. Hobbies classes, language classes, a good special class room, water coolers. The campus is very clean, and they are cleaning it on a regular basis. Outside we have famous s. s. jain girls subodh where people are sitting in free time. Free wi-fi is available at all times. Labs are well-equipped and moderate. Computer labs are very good and very clean. All computers are from HP. Our college has hostel facilities provided. The hostel is very good. In one room, four students easily leave together. Four folding bands are available, two fans are available, two cupboards are available and two study tables are provided by the hostel. Hostel mess is very good and food is given daily, fresh and warm. Food is good-tasting and hygienic. And the hostel provides medical facilities for us.
Faculty: The reason I chose B.Com. was because the subject offered by the course was to my liking and I also want to do an MBA after B.Com., so that course seemed fit for me. Along with that, the faculty members were also well equipped with proper degrees and most of them have masters degrees in there field of study. The teachers in the college are very good and clear with concepts, which made me understand everything with much more ease. Along with that, the college's location is quite convenient to my home. The teaching faculty here were highly qualified professionals from a well-known college as well. Teaching standards were always high and well maintained. The faculty here is really good and great. Exams and terms were taken in a systematic and timely manner, with easy to moderately difficult levels.
Other: The life at the campus is amazing and full of events and fests. We have Enigma and Moneta as our largest festivals for the college, with Enigma being our cultural fest and Moneta being our financial fest including inviting external colleges and universities to participate in the same. Then we also have Rapport, which is our internal fest for different divisions and sections within the university.

I won't suggest this college as there were no placements and the infrastructure is a disaster.
Placements: There was a placement cell in the college but were almost zero placements. Even we haven't seen our seniors getting placement in those 3 years. No companies were there for hiring throughout the period. None from the class got any internships. We haven't even heard of any recurring company at times of placement.
Infrastructure: Computers were in very bad condition and the classrooms themselves were never clean. The library has very limited books and very limited sitting space. The auditorium had only a capacity of 150-200 students at a time, maybe, which was never enough. They don't even allow a single outing to hostel kids and you are also not allowed to go out in the campus area after 7 pm. Dinner was served at 6 p.m., and the food was not at all good.
Faculty: Exams were regular as they were conducted by the Rajasthan University but the college also conducted internals before exams, which was good for preparation. Teachers were always helpful; some of them were very good and polite. And exams are quite easy if you are a good and obedient student .
Other: Only limited courses were available there and you have to be in a uniform every day. But the good thing was their events, which were held almost every week and extracurricular activities, which help you grow overall.

It is one of the best colleges in Jaipur where you will get a good education.
Placements: We had around 200 students in our class, and even 5% of students didn't get jobs. The salary package offered was around 2 LPA to 4 LPA. Recruiters are ICICI Bank, IDFC Bank, etc. Different companies come here for hiring. They may hire 100 students, but sometimes they only hire 5 or 10 students.
Infrastructure: Our college had a great infrastructure and provided all services like labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms, a library, and all sports. There was no hostel. There was a good canteen. They provided newspapers. Everything was good.
Faculty: In our college, all teachers were very good and polite. If you have any questions, you can reach out to them and explain your situation. You will get a solution. They were knowledgeable and helpful. Semester exams were a little bit tricky.

The ambience of the college was beautiful and faculty members are good.
Placements: At least 50% of students were placed in our college. The salary package offered to students differs according to our experience and skills. Companies in which recruitment was done were HDFC Bank, Yes Bank, Genpact, etc. The role offered in this course was economics administration.
Infrastructure: All good facilities were provided like Wi-Fi, labs, a good environment in the classroom, labs, and a library. The hostel quality was too good. I didn't stay in the hostel but listened to some friends. Our college provided good canteen services.
Faculty: All teachers in our college were helpful regarding every matter like queries related to any topic and during projects. Teachers were knowledgeable and the teaching quality was very good. This course was relevant.

My college is good and college life is also good.
Placements: My college does not provide placement to students overall. It is a very good college having all the facilities there. One can find everything there but it lacks placement. The college should improve this also to satisfy all the students at the college and all things are good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very clean and peaceful and it is very clean and tidy. I also like to sit there because it is very peaceful and my friends also like the infrastructure. All things that are essential for students are present there, so overall, it is good.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is also good. They are all calm and cooperative; they listen to us; we can freely go to them whenever we have problems; and their teaching skills are also unique and good. They take exams time to time and they also take weekly test of students.
Other: My batch has 40 students; they are all nice and good. I like accounts, so that's why I chose this course .
