Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A: 

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

The best college in terms of placements.
Placements: The placement in SAE is better compared to other colleges in Pune. If we score between 80 to 90 marks in the CET, the only problem is that the placement is conducted through central placement, where all the Sinhgad colleges participate for a single company, which is quite tough.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. The college has enough space on campus. All labs and workshops are well-equipped. The hostel is also good, with four students sharing a single room, and room sizes are quite good. However, the only problem is that a mess is compulsory for first-year students.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and supportive. They are very supportive of every student in the college. Our college follows the SPPU university syllabus, so exams are conducted as per the university. In-sem exams are for 30 marks, and end-sem exams are for 70 marks. To pass the exam, a minimum of 40% is required.

Good placements in 2020-2021 .
Placements: 90% of the students placed in our college in the years 2021–22. The highest pkg was around 37 lakh and the average was 4 lakh per annum. Various companies, like Amdocs, EQ Tech, etc., are recruiting. The roles offered by these companies are software development roles and software testing roles.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure but small campus, well enough sports ground but one of the worst things is about the mess of the college. The hostel rooms are not good; they are dull. It senses like negativity, but I would suggest staying in a room outside the college, not in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. About the CS department, all teachers are good and supportive. The semester is as per SPPU and exams are easy if we study or else very difficult. Unit tests are held before the in-semester examination; they are set by the college, not by sppu and also checked by the college itself.
Other: I am here via CET. The best thing about my course is the teaching staff, and events are held on the main campus, not on this campus. Overall, events are too good compared to other colleges, but one of the things I hate is that the main campus is far away from this campus, so that's one major issue.

The College is value for money.
Placements: The placements are very good almost half a batch was placed. The lowest package offered was 4 LPA and the highest package was 17 LPA. The top recruiting companies that come to our college are Accenture, and NVIDIA. The top role offered is Software developer.
Infrastructure: The IT department boasts state-of-the-art facilities including high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, comprehensive library. The hostels offer comfortable accommodation with amenities like Wi-Fi, and medical facilities. The mess serves a variety of meals.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, ensuring a high standard of teaching quality. The curriculum is designed to be relevant, focusing on practical skills and industry trends to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are challenging but fair.

I am not satisfied with the placements in 2019.
Placements: I chose Sinhgad because of its name in Pune but am disappointed with the placement scenario. Mechanical engineering boys always face challenges with low placement rates, primarily due to the absence of girls in our class. Companies like Altos, Bajaj, Tata, etc., do hire, but the numbers are quite low. Only 40% of our class got placed, and only four secured paid internships at Tata Motors. The average package is 3 LPA, and the top role offered is that of a Design Engineer.
Infrastructure: The college facilities, infrastructure, and building are impressive. Every department has a separate floor, and Wi-Fi is available in the library. The classrooms are a bit small, but the hostel rooms are spacious and good. The hostel food is not up to par, so I recommend getting food from outside mess. There is a large ground with a separate sports section for each sport, along with sports teachers. Our college places significant importance on sports.
Faculty: The teachers are intelligent and friendly, utilizing the latest 3D technology to teach subjects like fluid mechanics. The quality of teaching is excellent. The course curriculum is good but needs updating, especially to include 3D designing software relevant to industries. Semester exams are separate, and passing in every section is necessary. A minimum score of 40% is required to pass.
Other: I chose this college based on its name, but the performance has not been satisfactory.
