Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2024

I am really dissatisfied with the faculty, infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: There are lots of multinational companies recruiting for BCA freshmen. The roles for BCA are based on individual skills and experience.20% of students were placed at SAFA College. A lot of students do internships while studying BCA and others do them after their graduation.
Infrastructure: There is no college hostel at Safa College. If your house is far away, you have to stay in an apartment or room. There is no Wi-Fi in classrooms and students are not allowed to use their phones during campus hours. Sports and games are only available once a year.
Faculty: Teachers are really talented and their teaching quality is really excellent. Sem exams are really difficult, especially for BCA. Half of the class is failing in one or two subjects. The BCA course is a curriculum-relevant course. It'll surely make the students industry-ready.
Other: I took BCA because I want to be a game developer. But at this college, there is no additional training for that. All the events and other campus programs are literally poor.

Good but not great college.
Placements: The placements of my college is below average as the college is situated in a local are called valanchery in the Malappuram district. The placement package of safa college is 250000 LPA. The companies that come to the college for hiring are all local companies not mncs .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The hostel facilities are good and the food they provide is completely Kerela food as the college is present in Kerala. The college is mainly known for its wellness in sports. The college participates in every form of sports. They have every facilities for sports.
Faculty: As the college is not autonomous. The college follows the curriculum of Calicut university which is a weak university but the college faculty members are friendly and very helpful. They help students respectively for building a great life and a career for students.
Other: Overall the college is friendly those who are interested in sports can consider safa college.

Good Infrastructure and Facilities, with Excellent Faculty Members
Placements: There are no placements available on this campus. For a BSW graduate, the package ranges from 2 Lacs to 6 Lacs. Organizations like Bhoomi Foundation, CRY, HelpAge, Goonj, Wipro, Infosys, etc., recruit BSW graduates. Everyone from my campus got internship opportunities in different NGOs across various districts of Kerala.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, though there are not many advanced technologies on campus. There are labs and a library for students, but there is no Wi-Fi facility available. The hostel is good, and the quality of food is better compared to other colleges and universities. The sports teams are well-supported, with students encouraged to participate in various activities. There is also a gym on campus.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly. Most are highly qualified in their field, and the teaching quality is good. Students can approach faculty members freely if they have doubts or need help. The curriculum offers good exposure and experiential learning through observation visits, camps, fieldwork, and internships. Semester exams are moderate, and most students pass easily, with only 5% failing.
Other: I chose this course because it suits my character. I enjoy working with the community and interacting with people. This course allows me to meet different people, understand their problems, and help solve them, which is very fulfilling. The campus already provides what is needed for a BSW graduate, and there are many events and extracurricular activities to help students improve their skills.

B.A. in English Language and Literature - Batch of 2022

I am not satisfied because of the faculty.
Placements: About 20% of Students were placed in the Bachelor of English language and literature course, the lowest package offered in my course was 9000 rupees. Only 10% of Students got internships from the course, top role offered in my course is teaching, Want to improve facilities.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were average, and Wi-Fi was not available for students on campus, Library was good, Library had many collections of books and a wide variety of research papers, but the college have no proper hostel system, and the hostel available was by the other management.
Faculty: The teachers are not much qualified, and the teaching quality is below average, the course curriculum is relevant, but it does make the student's industry ready, and the semester exams are not much difficult. Semester exam results were not published in time.
Other: I choose this course under pressure from my parents, the best thing about the course is the huge opportunity for a teaching career.

It has good teachers and beautiful surroundings.
Placements: I am from the Bachelor of Business Administration course. About 25% of students who study in our college got placed from our course. In my course years, I have never seen this college providing any facilities or initiatives to provide students with any internships. If you want to just complete a degree, then choose this college.
Infrastructure: It has moderately good infrastructure in our course. It has a good and spacious library. It has all labs for each course and the classrooms are average. There is no Wi-Fi facility in this college. The quality of hostel facilities is average but not great. The hostel is budget-friendly. The college has a canteen inside its compound and the food served is really great. The college supports a great number of sports. Every kind of sport is conducted here.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very qualified and very helpful. They are friendly, and they sacrifice their extra time to help the students. Their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams conducted in this college are difficult, but the teachers really work hard to make it easy for us. The pass percentage of this college is above 80%.
Other: In my studying years of this college, I have only experienced small events or fests that happen only 1-2 in 3 months. The college does not really support conducting events or fests that much. For crowd and campus life, you should not choose this college. I suggest you to choose this college only if you want to have good teachers and a degree. The college is on top of a hill. The view and surroundings are really beautiful. It is calming and stunning.

Review of Safa Arts and Science College.
Placements: College is filled with quality stuff. A majority percentage of students got an internship from their courses. It is a good college with a good atmosphere. Our college is good when compared to other colleges.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities and infrastructure. Labs and classrooms are high and well-developed. Good and neat medical facilities are available. It also promotes games and sports. The library is well-furnished and contains good books too. The food served in the canteen is good.
Faculty: The education team is good. Teachers in the department are highly qualified in different sectors. Teachers are friendly with the students and provide good education. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Sometimes the semester exams in this college are difficult as well as easy. The pass percentage is 40%. They teach us well.
Other: I have chosen this course in order to attain good job opportunities. Teachers who taught me this course are highly qualified and friendly, which is the best thing about this course. Everything is perfect here, but the college should improve the facilities.
