There are no placements drive for civil engineering. It is difficult to find the jobs outside.

Placements: There are no placements for civil engineering. There is no proper guidance to go through the career development. The students tend to join BPO's and CCE jobs instead of pursuing their carriers in their core subjects. If you depend on placements for your future, it's not a preferable place to join Sambhram.

I was disappointed by studying here.

Placements: Our batch had very little placements. The companies that come to the college are startups. The placements for the core branches are not available. Most of the placement drives are pool campus. On an average, the salary offered is around 1.8 LPA to 2 LPA. The companies which visited us were not related to our branch. One was merchant navy, other than that it was just tech support jobs for a very less salary and we should sign a bond for minimum stay for working in the company. Most of the jobs we...

I am dissatisfied with the placements, faculty, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements in this college are not at all good just below average. I think only 20% of the students were placed in the previous year. The highest salary was 18 LPA offered to a student. Many companies like Amazon, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, etc., visited our college.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty and infrastructure, but not placement and facilities.

Placements: There are average placements. Some core companies are like private merchant navy and many companies come placement is going on. The package is in between 2 LPA to 16 LPA. There is good placement in computer science, information science, and electronics and communication engineering in comparison to mechanical and civil engineering. I think the placement percentage will be more this year compared to last year, let's see.

Absolutely good placements, and highly educated and experienced faculty

Placements: Our college has average placements. Companies have come with an average package of 2.25 lakhs and the highest being 5 lakhs. It is not the top college in Bangalore but it is good for average students who have a financial problem. Companies such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro, ICICI Silk Software, Accenture and much more visited.

In 2015, when I joined, the placement was good, but now the placement is too bad.

Placements: The placements are bad, and only 5 to 6 students got placed in ECE department from the college. In CSE department, the placements are good. In case of ECE department, the placements are not good. I have no idea about the internships. I'm in the 5th semester right now, may e in the last semester, the placement will be good.

Faculty is good but is this enough for all-round development?

Placements: Placements are not very good in our college. But again, one student is different from another. A lot of them have good jobs while the others have landed themselves in tech support. There are plenty of companies that do come but recruit very few. But that's the scenario of the IT world and it can't be blamed on the college. Being a good coder will definitely save you.

Sambhram: A nightmare in disguise.

Placements: The placements are pathetic. Don't expect the college to get you placed at any reputable post. You can get placed only in tech support jobs. Their brochure has a list of students who got placed but the truth is most of them were placed off-campus and the college is shamelessly taking credits for something they're not capable of doing.

Boon for fun mongers and bane for the studious.

Placements: The placement in our college was not good for the year 2016 and was the worst for the mechanical branch. The main company which turns up are mainly BPO and tech support. The numbers of companies for core mechanical turn up was 2 with the annual average package of 1.2 LPA and the total percentage of students placed was below 10 LPA. The college lacks tie-ups with companies and also lacks pre-placement training.

Sambhram: the Murphy effect; everything that could go wrong would go wrong.

Placements: Placements couldn't get worse than in this college. They will pull out all your money as placements fees but no company will turn up. A couple of companies that actually come aren't even core companies. But they show good placement records in the banners. Most of the placed students out of them are placed off-campus.

Worst college in Bangalore.

Placements: Don't expect this word once you are in this college. Faculty members are horrible. Everyone is behind making money. Save your money and don't opt for this college. From day 1 to the last day, they will try to scroll down your pocket. Corruption and partiality are quite normal and are known to all the students of this college.

My college has a good placement. The campus is not too big but maintained very well.

Placements: The placement in our college was good. The percentage of the students being placed increases every year. In our batch, 50-60% of the students were placed. The highest salary was around 3 lakhs pa, the lowest was 1.5 lakhs pa, and the average salary was around 2 lakhs pa. Companies such as HCL, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Morgan Stanley, etc. have visited our campus. Mostly, tech support and BPO roles were offered to the students. The college provided internship for all the students but the interested ...

The college is a little strict.

Placements: Placement was not excellent but good. Around 50% students were placed. The highest package was 4L and the lowest was 2L per annum. Around 20% of the students got an internship. There not many companies coming to our college but we had a good experience of what we have got. We were offered team lead role in a marathon.

No return on my investment.

Placements: The college has decent placement but mainly in support sector and lacks core placement. The companies which come for placement have a low annual package and the return of investment is very poor. The percentage of students placed varies from 4 -10% in core and 15-30% in technical support sector.

Best college for students with CET rank 30000.

Placements: 1. Placement opportunity for the students is minimal. Few companies visit this college but they hire just 2-3 people. 2. They provide opportunity in other colleges where there is pool campus placements going on. 3. Placement officer does not respond to the students' queries. 4. If a student has a very good aggregate, he/she may get a good placement but the companies that visit here offer packages of 2-3 LPA.

Changed the teaching style so the students have started to take interests in studies.

Placements: Placement is good but a few companies is coming in my college. IBM, HCL, Infosys and HP, all types of companies are coming in SAIT College but for mechanical and civil, there are no placements. The maximum salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: The placements are not good, by sheer luck, the students get placed in some IT companies which have an average package of 3 LPA. The mechanical engineering students, if interested, can apply for the merchant navy which has an average package of 15LPA, which includes even the pre-training programme. So, on the whole, the placement percentage is around 20%.

Good teaching faculty and very friendly environment. When it comes to academics there good support from lecturers as well as from head of the departments. Technical activities are also given equal importance. Lots of workshop are conducted to increase students technical knowledge. Labs like Intel,Wipro and Texas are in college to improve student's technical skill.

Girls hostel is inside the campus and boys hostel (Indian) is outside the campus. Placements: - Our college provides above average placements. I joined in 2011 with some hopes that I will work little harder and excel in my studies and get placed easily as that time it had good placements. But soon after I joined I came to know that only tech support companies were there for placements. Year by year condition got worse and now no on campus placements, only some pool drives that too again for tech support kind of roles. Teaching is also not good. Good lecturers leave the college to get better salary. No proper labs. Unnecessary pressure ...
