Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

They prepare students to be industry-ready because they provide quality content. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. The pass percentage is 3.1 CGPA.
Other: I chose this college because it comes in the top 10 colleges. Some faculty members and instruments are needed for the improvement of my selected course. Samrat Utsav is the college's biggest festival or event. The college provides all types of scholarships for students.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025
4.4
4Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Strong foundation with great placements but scope for modernization.
Placements: I am from batch 2025 and I am pursuing B.Tech in computer science and engineering. Approximately 60-70% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.65 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Yash Technologies, Emphasis, Cognizant, and Accenture visit the college. Approximately 70% of students secured internships at Capgemini, Infosys, and TCS. Software engineer, full-stack developer, data analyst, cloud engineer, DevOps engineer, and machine learning engineer roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The campus offers Wi-Fi in academic buildings, classrooms, labs, and libraries. Computer labs have updated systems. Electronics labs have modern tools, etc. We have smart classrooms with multimedia facilities in some departments. There is a digital library for accessing online research papers and E-books. Auditoriums are for seminars and workshops. The food quality is low. The rest is excellent.
Faculty: Here teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Co-curricular activities are available and provide opportunities for attending hackathons, coding competitions, etc. Semester exams range from moderate to challenging, depending on the subject and preparation. The average pass percentage is around 85-90%.
Other: My batch is 2021-2025. The course is a bachelor of technology in computer science and engineering. I chose this course because I have a passion for technology and problem-solving. The best thing about the course is that it is based on practical learning, industry-relevant, and placements. Areas for improvement include curriculum update, practical exposure, and infrastructure.

Good college if you want to get placed on your own or want to pursue your own stuff.
Placements: I don't know the exact percentage placed but approximately 40–50% of students get placed by the college; the rest get placed through their own capabilities. For our branch, as it started recently, our seniors have just reached 4th year so they will be placed next year. 45% of students got internships, but they did it on their own, not through college, as they give more priority to CSE students than to blockchain.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that bad but not that good either. The wifi is good and the labs for first year are way better but the computers are not bad. But the main issue is the library. They have good books but we aren't allowed to issue them as we please. There is this beautiful round sitting table with a good view, but we aren't allowed there either. And the most important issue is the number of seats in the library. They literally only have 24 seats in total and it's only open till 6 pm and it's only open on weekdays.
Faculty: The senior teachers are really knowledgeable and helpful but a few teachers literally don't know anything. The curriculum is quite nice and not that hectic and it covers almost all the necessary topics. The semester exams are not that hard if you study the notes properly; actually, they are quite easy compared to other private universities.
Other: I chose blockchain cause I was interested in it and according to me, I think it's a pretty good course as you can associate with the finance industry. I haven't studied that deeply about my course yet, as I'm still a 2nd year student so I don't think I am qualified to do so. Scholarship is good but the events are worse than those of school. If they are club events, it's another matter but college official events are not good; we don't even celebrate or organize garba nights and stuff.

Strong faculty members and facilities with scope for industry-relevant improvements.
Placements: At Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (SATI), Vidisha, around 70-80% of B.Tech CSE students secure placements. The highest salary package offered is 12.5 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 3.5 LPA - 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Hexaware, and ValueLabs. Common roles offered like software developer, data analyst, and system analyst. Internships are facilitated by the training & placement cell with companies like Jio Park and Incture. Placements and internship opportunities vary annually based on students' performance and industry trends.
Infrastructure: Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (SATI) offers modern facilities for the B.Tech CSE program, including Wi-Fi, advanced laboratories, well-equipped classrooms, and a rich library. Hostels provide comfortable accommodation, hygienic meals, and recreational amenities like indoor games and reading rooms. The campus includes a dispensary with a nearby hospital for medical needs. Sports facilities include basketball courts and lawn tennis. Overall, SATI ensures a supportive environment for academic and personal growth. The food quality and hostel conditions may vary over time.
Faculty: At Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (SATI), CSE faculty members are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. They ensure effective teaching for students. The curriculum aligns with industry standards and prepares students for professional challenges, though few students suggest updates for better relevance. Semester exams are manageable, with a pass mark of 33%. The structured academic system supports a good pass percentage. While the course is generally industry-ready, it could benefit from incorporating more recent advancements to enhance preparedness for dynamic industry demands.
Other: I chose B. Tech in CSE at SATI for its strong technical foundation and career opportunities. The best aspects include excellent faculty members, modern laboratories, and a curriculum that encourages problem-solving. Improvements could include more industry-relevant updates and enhanced placements support. The campus conducts vibrant events, fests, and fosters creativity. The student crowd is diverse, and the surroundings are peaceful. SATI offers scholarships for deserving students and promotes extracurricular activities like sports and cultural programs, ensuring holistic development. Connectivity to Vidisha City is convenient.

Placement percentage is about 60-70% here. Faculty members guide all students.
Placements: Our branch is computer science and engineering in specialisation IOT, cybersecurity with blockchain technology. Only 60 students are there in our batch now, and our batch is passing out in the year 2025. About 50-60% of students from our batch got placed. The lowest salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA and the highest salary package offered ranges from 10-12 LPA. A role is offered in the software field.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is amazing. Wi-Fi facility is available now in our college. Labs are of very good quality. Lectures are conducted in classrooms.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. They are PhD holders and M.Tech qualified. They taught me the right direction. Semester exams are not difficult if students study, and I am happy to share knowledge with you. More than 75% attendance is mandatory.
Other: I am currently studying in my final year. I am from computer science and engineering in specialisation IOT, cybersecurity with blockchain technology course. I suggest students join this course because it is an amazing branch, and if you want a deep understanding of blockchain technology. Our college also conducts extracurricular activities. I also joined as a member of the coding club.

Placements: Placements are quite low. The average package is 4.2 LPA or something. Only a few companies come for the placement, and that too in pool drives; no on-campus placements are provided. Only Salem and BDE roles are coming, and 1-2 companies provided IT roles. On-campus internships are not provided. They do not help us get any internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very bad, with very old classrooms. They charge money for internet, but the internet is never in working condition. Canteens are given on tenders, so the food is okay, but I have not visited much. The library is fully furnished, and there is a Wi-Fi connection available properly. It's a good place to study and do our work.
Faculty: Teachers provide appropriate notes and also pyqs to help students study for their exams. The course is very good, but we don't gain much practical knowledge—only theoretical. Exams are not that tough; they're easy to crack if you study properly. Everyone manages to pass the exam, but 1-2 students get failed.
Other: As I saw that the name of the branch contains Blockchain, IoT, and Cybersecurity, it was a new branch, and only a few colleges offer this branch in their courses. I thought it would be good for me to study three fields at a time, and I would get to explore them.
