Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

My college is very good. It give me lots of memories and experience.
Placements: Around 90% of the students were placed. The highest package was 12 LPA and the lowest was Rs 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, TCS, Infosys and many more. 70 % of students got internships in my course in Capgemini, Infosys and many more. SDE role was offered to the students.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure were a little bit old because it's an old college. The quality of the hostel is very good and the canteen is also nice. The college also provides medical and sports facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They are helping in every situation of students. Their teaching quality is also very good and every topic can be understood easily. The difficulty was moderate during the semester exams.

Campus and college life is a plus point but don't expect a great infrastructure .
Placements: In computer Science and engineering branch nearly 85-90 percent students are placed. The highest package was 11 LPA and average package was 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters in our college are yash technology, impetus, nehaes, ksolves, accolite and few students got placed off campus in MNCs like tcs, wipro, infosys, capgemini. Top roles offered were software developer, q&a engineer, system engineer, business analyst. There was 2 batches in CSE branch and only the students who went for higher studies and other exams preparation were not appeared in placement drives and were not placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is old and buildings are not that good. Classrooms are also not well-equipped and looks like a school classroom but labs are good and well-equipped and computers are also updated and good in condition. There are different labs for different subjects and streams. Library was very good apart from building and classrooms and it was well-equipped and maintained. Hostels buildings were also old and condition was not upto mark but apart from that hostel is the best thing in the college. There was a mess, tv room and table tennis room in the hostels. There are total 3 hostels, 2 for first year students and 1 is common for second, third and final year students. Mess food is only for survival and one should not expect food like home in the mess. On sunday we get special meal and there was a water cooler also for cold water. Canteen is average and we can order food from canteen in hostel also. Sports complex of our college is very good and college also organise a cricket tournament every year and students can also take part in other tournaments and nodals. Teacher and staff in sports complex is supportive.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and always active. There is also one tutor gaurdian is assigned for every 20-25 students who take cares of attendance, academics and courses issues of their students. Teachers are well qualified and are up to date with their courses and syllabus. Courses are updated every semester as per the industry and future requirements. Quality of teaching is good and students doesn't face any problem in exam if he/she is regular in class. Also teachers are very helpful during practicals and exams.
Other: Placements are the highest in computer Science and engineering branch. We wish if the infrastructure would be better and the quality of food in the mess would be better and the hostel infrastructure too.

Good college if you want to get placed on your own or want to pursue your own stuff.
Placements: I don't know the exact percentage placed but approximately 40–50% of students get placed by the college; the rest get placed through their own capabilities. For our branch, as it started recently, our seniors have just reached 4th year so they will be placed next year. 45% of students got internships, but they did it on their own, not through college, as they give more priority to CSE students than to blockchain.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that bad but not that good either. The wifi is good and the labs for first year are way better but the computers are not bad. But the main issue is the library. They have good books but we aren't allowed to issue them as we please. There is this beautiful round sitting table with a good view, but we aren't allowed there either. And the most important issue is the number of seats in the library. They literally only have 24 seats in total and it's only open till 6 pm and it's only open on weekdays.
Faculty: The senior teachers are really knowledgeable and helpful but a few teachers literally don't know anything. The curriculum is quite nice and not that hectic and it covers almost all the necessary topics. The semester exams are not that hard if you study the notes properly; actually, they are quite easy compared to other private universities.
Other: I chose blockchain cause I was interested in it and according to me, I think it's a pretty good course as you can associate with the finance industry. I haven't studied that deeply about my course yet, as I'm still a 2nd year student so I don't think I am qualified to do so. Scholarship is good but the events are worse than those of school. If they are club events, it's another matter but college official events are not good; we don't even celebrate or organize garba nights and stuff.

The institute was established in 1960 and have a campus of around 85 acres with sports facilities.
Placements: 80 percent students were placed last year in this course, the highest package of the course in the institute was 16lpa and average is 5lpa. TCS, hezaware, Capgemini, Walmart, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, ICICI, godrej, TATA, accolite, HCL, are some of the major companies which visit our college for campus placement.
Infrastructure: Institute consists of 3boys hostel (2 for 1st year and 1 for seniors), and 2 girls hostels (1 for 1st year and 1 for seniors). All the hostels are completely Wi-Fi enabled with 24x7 Wi-Fi facility,1 of the 2 boys hostels of 1st year is 3 seater and another one is 2 seater.
Faculty: All the facilities are highly qualified and experienced they teach everything in very interactive manner. Our institute is an autonomous institute, such that the curriculum is designed by the institute itself in a well mannered structure. Also all the faculty members are very helpful, as we can ask doubts related studies.

Placements: Placements are quite low. The average package is 4.2 LPA or something. Only a few companies come for the placement, and that too in pool drives; no on-campus placements are provided. Only Salem and BDE roles are coming, and 1-2 companies provided IT roles. On-campus internships are not provided. They do not help us get any internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very bad, with very old classrooms. They charge money for internet, but the internet is never in working condition. Canteens are given on tenders, so the food is okay, but I have not visited much. The library is fully furnished, and there is a Wi-Fi connection available properly. It's a good place to study and do our work.
Faculty: Teachers provide appropriate notes and also pyqs to help students study for their exams. The course is very good, but we don't gain much practical knowledge—only theoretical. Exams are not that tough; they're easy to crack if you study properly. Everyone manages to pass the exam, but 1-2 students get failed.
Other: As I saw that the name of the branch contains Blockchain, IoT, and Cybersecurity, it was a new branch, and only a few colleges offer this branch in their courses. I thought it would be good for me to study three fields at a time, and I would get to explore them.
