Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Overall it is good college for CS, IT and civil courses.
Placements: If I talk about the placement scenario of this college, it is average or above average because the studenta who opt for placement whether they are from IT, CS or not, get jobs in IT companies. We can conclude that placement in IT industry is very good but there is 180 degree flip in the core sector. Nothing is there for core branches, but this year I was lucky that I got an opportunity to seat in the pool campus of EPC oil and gas industry and I got placed at an above average package.
Infrastructure: All infrastructure is good, but not the best or the worst. It has. It was built around 1960 and remained unchanged until this year when renovations began. Classrooms have projectors. Some do not, but there is a heart laboratory for the Civil and Mechanical departments, as well as a 3D printer lab. However, the library is not good as other top universities. There is an excellent opportunity for sports. One. There is a basketball court, two wooden badminton courts, table tennis, and numerous other facilities.
Faculty: Many faculty members are excellent. Some faculty members hold extraordinary degrees. Faculty members are also chartered engineers, which is extremely difficult to achieve. Because this college was under Tequip III, many of the faculty members had PHDs. There were also faculty members from IITs. And, in the coming months, Tequip IV will be approved, so we can expect more.
Other: There is room for improvement in the core sector placement scenario. This college offers free GATE preparation classes, and many students from core branches pass the exam with high marks.

It is a great place to learn and explore.
Placements: Our college has few students in the Petrochemical Engineering branch, so only a few companies visit our college for placements. More than 50% of students get good offers. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. A role offered to the students is a trainee. Top recruiting companies like HPCL and Bina Refinery visit our college for students. Most of the students opt for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is good, but it does not have good Wi-Fi connectivity. There are no proper arrangements in a mess. The quality of the food served is poor sometimes. The library is full of books, and students get every book related to their course. Labs are well-equipped and well-furnished.
Faculty: The course curriculum is good, and it covers all the necessary courses. Teachers are supportive. They all have good experience in teaching their subjects. I enjoy while studying here. The practical approach followed by them helps us to understand the topics more clearly. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty level.

It is a good college to study engineering in AI, cyber security and petrochemical.
Placements: In the petrochemical engineering branch, the placement record is not much good as only 30% of students grab the placement opportunity. However, the placement record of other branches of engineering is good, and more than 65% of students got placed from the 2021 batch. The top recruiting company here is Bina Refinery.
Infrastructure: Our college buildings and hostel are old, but they have all the basic facilities. Classrooms are good, and our college has a good Wi-Fi facility. Labs are well-equipped so that students get good practical knowledge. The food served in the mess is not up to the mark, and you can eat in the canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members here are good and are always ready to help students whenever they need them. The curriculum is set by RGPV, and it follows the latest teaching practice. The content of the syllabus is updated every year. Exams are conducted in the written pattern, and 3 mid-term exams and 1 final exam are conducted.

I am not very satisfied with the college and my course faculty members.
Placements: Less than 1% of the students got placed from our course. The salary package offered in our course was around 6 LPA to 7 LPA. TCS, BORL and Infosys are the top recruiters. My classmate got placed in BORL. Our college does not really work for an apprenticeship. They just sign the form and ask us to do an apprenticeship. The computer science branch was the best part of my college in the placement area. The civil engineering department also had excellent experienced faculty members.
Infrastructure: The lab was not maintained properly, and there was no good infrastructure for the course. Games and sports facilities were good, and the canteen facility is below average. I don't know much about the medical facilities. The library facility was very good, but it was unable to provide me with relevant books.
Faculty: There are not very qualified teachers. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams were tough. The teaching quality was not very good. There was a startup cell in my college. Assignments were given to us, which did not make any sense.
Other: It was a unique branch, and it has scope in Southern India, so I chose it. Techfest and an annual function were organised.

Good placements from the last 2 years, and we got better faculty from TEQUIP.
Placements: Good companies like Bina Refinery, TCS and Capgemini visit the campus to offer placements. The packages offered range from 3 LPA to 8 LPA. Students with above 7.5 CGPA are able to sit for placements. Placements are being better from last year. Many of our seniors got placed with an average package.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi facilities are available in the college. Lab facilities are not enough, especially for petrochemical as we have only the basic equipment for practicals. Labs for other branches are equipped well enough for students. Labs for first-year students are the best. Classrooms are good, and smart class facilities are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are improving due to TEQUIP. We have the best faculty members from IITs etc. They practice before teaching and give us a good study experience. Their teaching methods are good. They teach with example and passion. We also get to visit the nearby industries.
