Great college of my times.
Placements: The college has a good placement record and the college provides a good return on investment. The college has a 100% placement record. The placement cell not only attracts market leaders for placement drives but also helps and guides us during the placement drive at the college. The highest package for our batch was around 26 LPA and the average package went up to 15 LPA. Google, Arista Network, TCS Research, McKinsey, Honeywell, Texas Instruments, Microsoft, etc. are the companies that participated in the college placement drive. Around 75+ companies took part in the college placement drive.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is decent, not fancy. It's a government hostel. It is 400 miles away from the college building. The mess food is decent too. It's near the hostel accommodation. The hostel has limited seats for each branch and each year and is allocated on the basis of merit and caste quota. The college has a library with well-stocked books in it. The college also provides Wi-Fi facilities for students as well as faculty members.
Faculty: We have a very experienced faculty teaching various subjects. Obviously, there is a mix in the teaching of different faculty members. Some are good at teaching, and some are not that good. A maximum number of teachers have good industry experience and urge students to write papers. When there is a need, they will help with projects undertaken by students as well.
Other: Many fests are occurring in the winter season. Generally, there are fests of diverse cultural and technical backgrounds. SPINX, PRARAMBH, and SPACE are some cultural fests. SPICON is a fest of technical background,. The books availability is very good; it can be borrowed from the library with the use of an Identity card. The social life of college is somewhat wayward, but it comes to me as an average above par for an Engineering college.
