Good placements in 2019, the best infrastructure and supportive faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college were very good. I attended the drive to gain the experience of attending the interview. Placements were held in a good environment. The training and placement coordinators were really helpful, and we didn't need any other support.

Placements in 2018-19 are good.

Placements: Our seniors experienced an excellent number of placements last year. About 65%-70% of our seniors got placed. They were placed in very good companies like Amazon, Oracle, Adobe, Mastercard, DE Shaw, ONGC, L&T, UHG, John Deere, Reliance, and many other MNCs. They were offered roles of developers and junior engineers. The average salary package offered is about 6-12 LPA. About 15-20% of the students get internships every year. The average stipend offered is Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month. We do have ...

SVNIT is the best place to explore many things.

Placements: Our seniors were offered good placement opportunities. Almost everyone got placed with appreciable and satisfactory packages. Some students also got placed in well-reputed companies and dream companies as well. Placements are good, but the only problem is electronics students don't get many core companies for placements. However, there will be many opportunities if they opt for non-core companies.

It is a place which gives us the freedom to develop ourselves.

Placements: Placements in our college are not up to the mark. Most of the students are placed as tutors in coaching institutes. As many of the students doing this course are research-oriented, they do their PhD after completion of M.Sc. But students who get well placed with excellent packages have done a lot of extra work other than the curriculum.

Good placements in 2018-19.

Placements: About 80% of the students from our department got placed. Placement opportunities were given more to those who are interested in software. The lowest package is 3 LPA for mass recruitment, average package is 6 LPA, the highest salary is around 12 LPA. Core company John deere, coding companies like Wipro, D E Shaw, Capegemini, Honeywell, Amazon etc. visited our campus. 20% of students got internship from our college.

Faculty are not good. The college placements are few.

Placements: Placements are very few. Companies which visit for electrical students are mainly for the IT department, and they offer the lowest packages but at last students must choose these companies. Percentage of placements is deficient. Almost 40% of the students get placed.

I was satisfied because of faculty in electronics.

Placements: Those who are interested in a job got placed, and their placement percentage is almost above 90%. Not more than ten companies visited for placements in electronics. About 50% or more got placed in IT companies. There is a lot of scope to place in IT companies even though non-core and the salary package ranged from 1-20 LPA.

SVNIT can be a good choice.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. The average package lies between 5-7.5 LPA, which is good enough. Packages for all branches are almost the same except computer science. For, computer science branch, the highest package goes around 25-27 LPA. The lowest package will be around 3.5-4 LPA.

Very disappointed with the faculty and labs. Placement until 2016 were good.

Placements: Placements in our college are not very good. Very few companies visit our college for placements. Although regarding the placements of electronics engineering students, the coding companies like JPMC, Infosys, etc., visited the campus and hire students. Students who are interested in coding usually got placed but the students who are not much interested in coding face very difficulty. They have to face a lot of problems for their placements. In the end, they have to opt for 2-3 LPA salary packag...

Dissatisfied with the mess. Faculty must improve.

Placements: The placement rate of our college is good, but the companies visiting the campus are not that good. Moreover, the salary packages offered are very low. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. It is the same scenario for internships. Even the companies visiting at the initial phase of placements are not that much good.

Good infrastructure and facilities. Good placement ratio but packages should be increased a bit.

Placements: The percent of students getting placed is good. There is a placement cell and I have seen it working good last year. The highest, the lowest salary offered as per my knowledge is 13 lacs per annum and 3 lacs per annum respectively. The percent of students got an internship is about 50%. The highest and the lowest stipend offered are as 1 lacs and Rs12,000 respectively. But the thing to be noted is the average good package or stipend offering companies are less in number. Companies such as Reliance Industries Limited, John Deere, Honda R&D, Hero MotoCorp, Suzuki Motors, MG Motors, L&T Power, L&T Construction, Future First, Welspun, etc. More details about more companies and internships also can be found on our website svnit.ac.in. Placements: Placements in our college are good. Around 70% of the students get placed every year. The rest of the students may prepare for exams like GATE, GRE and EXTRA. Around 150 out of 220 students from our senior batch got placed. We have to concentrate more on communication skills, and we should have good command on our technical knowledge to get placed. We should also be good at aptitude concepts.

As far as our electronics branch is concerned, the highest package offered is around 14 LPA, and the lowest is around 4 LPA. The average package is around 6.5 LPA. Placements: From the mechanical branch of our batch, around 150-160 from the total eligible students of around 200 got placed. It is almost the same figure for our senior batch. The highest salary package offered by a core company in mechanical is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.75 LPA. Mostly, the roles offered by companies were GET. Review of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements in our college are decent. It depends on branch mainly as people of branches like civil opt for further studies and don't usually attend placement drives. Whereas branches like computer and mechanical have almost 100% placements and internships to eligible students. There are decent placements for branches like EE, ECE and chemical.
