One of the best colleges for mechanical engineering.

Placements: Placements in our college for mechanical went down due to less number of vacancies in the production field. L&T has stopped coming to our college lately and even Linde took only 2 students from a total of 140 students batch. Apart from the big companies, there are smaller ones coming and they take multiple students every year.

Partially satisfied about the placement.

Placements: 2-3 multinational companies visit our college such as TCS, L&T, Wipro, etc. Other small companies regularly visit our campus and recruit the students. In addition to it, approximately 80 students out of 130 got placement through campus.

Pretty cool college, great campus and great regulations.

Placements: Placements here are very common. In mechanical engineering, only one reputed company Linde had come for placements and took only 2 students out of 140 per bath. There are other campus drives from other companies but they are still not good enough for the amount of students graduating each year.

Overall, a good private college to study in Gujarat.

Placements: 2016 batch's placements were good. Nearly 8-9 students got placed. The highest package offered was 3.3 LPA and the lowest is 1.8 LPA with an average of 2.9 LPA. Companies visiting the campus were TCS, Himak, LM Wind power, Finolex, ERDA etc. All roles offered were that of a graduate engineer trainee.

Satisfied. The college is financially best for all students.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch were fairly good this year. Maximum students were computer engineers who got placed in reputed companies. Highest salary was about 5 lac per annum and lowest was about 3.5 lakh. Companies like Wipro, L&T, Vital Cast, TCS, etc. came to our college for recruitment. The criterion of these companies was that we had to clear 2 tests to go in PI. First aptitude, second GD.

Great sport facilities, large infrastructure, good placement,

Placements: Placements are good enough and there is zero day placement bond with TCS. Other great multinational companies come and recruit students. More companies come as we are in the top 10 colleges of Gujarat. The highest package given is 6 lakhs. Every student is given the freedom to have their internship from the third year.

Overall, satisfied with college and faculty, but quite dissatisfied by administration department.

Placements: There are very few placements available in SVIT which provided by some of the multinational companies and some local IT companies. Around 30 to 40 percent students got placed with a bond of one or two years. They offer around 2-3 lakhs per annum. Mostly, students get the placement as an intern in those companies. Some companies who provided placements in SVIT are Microsoft, L&T, Google and some local companies.

Great place to be after MSU, LD and BVM.

Placements: Placements at SVIT have always been relatively better compared to its main rivals (Parul, Babaria, Navarachna, VIER, Neotech, etc). The placement has been better with each year, ie the number of students placed in our batch was more than the number of students in our senior batch, and so on. You can view the placement details here: http://svitvasad.ac.in/Deva/placement_summary.php. Total 141 placed students in the year 2015-16. As for our batch (2016-17), the placement season is still going on, ...

Absolutely satisfied with faculty, good placements in 2016, really good infrastructure & facilities.

Placements: The placement procedure in my college is quite good. At least 70% of students are placed all year. In my college, the highest salary is 6 lakhs per annum, the average salary is 4 lakhs per annum and the lowest salary is 2 lakhs per annum. The list of companies which was visited our campus: 1)TCS, 2)L%T, 3)Infosys, 4)Rishabh Software, 5)Zeus Technology, 6)Tatva Soft, 7)Capgemini, 8)Cygnet, 9)Callabera, 10)Software Solutions.

It is a good college in terms of learning. The college has average faculty members in terms of teaching, excellent extracurricular activities, and average placements. The common recruiters for the placements include TCS, Cognizant, Linde Engineering India, Accenture, IBM and more. It has an annual festival called Prakarsh which is a great opportunity to learn and grow. The college life is really good and the infrastructure is above average. In terms of food, it is alright as it has a Nescafe, a ...

I'm pretty much satisfied, just need some renovations in college and ways.

Placements: Our college, overall, is good, but in placement they said that LOR will not be given to placed students in order to maintain college reputation. For this reason, the number of students sitting for placements has completely reduced and only a few will be appearing for placements.

In every college, the main thing is you have to focus on yourself.

Placements: About 30% of the students from our course got placed. The salary package is provided as per our performance. L&T, MG, Line, TCS, etc., companies visit here for placements. Our college management is good for campus placements and is well managed, and it helps every student. Before placements, our college organises a lot of mock tests.

Our college has really good facilities and joyful atmosphere.

Placements: In our SVIT, almost 50%-60% of the students from the computer branch got placed in placements conducted in the previous year. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, which was got by one of my friends in the previous year. Top IT-based companies like TCS, Numerator, PMC, etc., visited here for placements in the previous placement session. Around 20%-25% of the students got internships in TCS and PMC.

It is a good university for electrical students.

Placements: The number of students who got placed from our course is less compared to other departments. The highest salary offered here is 1 lac per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Top companies which visit here for placements are L&T, TCS, etc. The top role offered in our course is an electronic engineer. Some students get placed every year.

The college has pretty amazing infrastructure, but disappointed with faculty members.

Placements: Around 60% of the students got placed. The average salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month. TCS, Infosys, and Matrix Telecom are the top recruiters. Software service engineer, embedded engineer, etc., roles are offered. Around 10% of the students got internships. Considering the above details, the recruitment system in our institute is below average. We are not allowed to sit for other companies if we are already placed in one.

SVIT Vasad is my dream college.

Placements: There was a pretty good placement rate due to great training and placement (T&P) cell of our college. Every department has its T&P coordinator who takes care of their respective department's students like their details and placement things. Overall, our college has a great placement rate.
