This college is value for money because it is affordable.
Placements: Our college does not provide any placements facility to the students. It only provides education to the students without any practical exposure which is much needed in today's world. As our college does not provide placements facility, so no company visits for placements drive.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, laboratories, classrooms, and libraries all these facilities are good in this college. Hostel facility is good. The students are provided with 3 meals of the day at fixed time intervals. A basketball court is also there where students can play and enjoy.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are very helpful. They always guide students whenever the need arises. The course provides students only theoretical knowledge of accounts about how these are made and how ITR is filed, etc. Almost all the students pass their exams with a good percentage of 70%.
Other: As I have passed my secondary education in commerce so I opted for B.Com as it will help me to learn more about commerce. Infrastructure facilities should be improved so, that students can concentrate more.

This college is the best part of my life. Now I am doing further studies.
Placements: In the previous year, in our course, the last rank student got 92% of marks in academics. After this course, some students opt for a job with a salary ranging from Rs. 15,000-25,000 per month. Students get a salary package ranging from 1.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Banking sector companies like ICICI, SBI, HDFC, etc., visited here for recruitment
Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure for students here. A good reading room is available, and classrooms are well managed by our institute management. Smart classrooms are also available here. There are also hostels for boys and girls. Hostels are well cleaned and provide a good meal for breakfast, lunch and also dinner.
Faculty: There are a lot of teachers to teach here. They help students in many ways in the classroom as well as after classes. Our college recruits the best teachers compared to other colleges. Our college provides a good environment for teachers and also for students. Teaching staff members are also ready to help students.
Other: I have chosen this course for my graduation, and after graduation, I want to opt for further studies. It is the best college in the city, and there is a cricket ground. But our college needs to improve other grounds and courts for different games like badminton, volleyball, etc.

Our college has all facilities.
Placements: Students who scored 75% marks have joined this course, and some seats are also available at the basis of categories. For freshers, the salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month, and after that, if students have some experience in work, the salary would also increase. Students who scored approximately 65% of marks got an internship from our course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available here. There are smart classrooms in which students can show their presentations and confidence. The drinking water facility is also available. Canteen is available which provides some special meals to students.
Faculty: Teachers are well-knowledgeable, well-qualified, polite and experts. They have some skills and tricks which are used in classrooms for students so that they work easily. They have no attitude, and they understand the students' problems. Some teachers are also a gold medalist in their subjects.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have my own business, and I was interested in accounting work and did the 12th standard in commerce.

This SCD Government College, Ludhiana, usually opens its undergraduate admissions in May every year. Admission forms were available online from May 23, 2024, for the academic session 2024-2025.
Although no official dates are released for the session 2025-2026, it would be wise to keep checking SCD
